I saw both him and Burt Ward at the Wizardworld Austin Comic-Con, I remember seeing rebroadcasts of the 1960s Batman series when I was a kid and I always loved his role as 'The Gray Ghost' in the 1990s Batman The Animated Series.
One question came up at the Austin Comic-con panel
"If all the movie and TV Batmans were in one room and had a battle, who would win?" Burt Ward answered "Look there've been many fine actors who have played the character, but there's only one Batman" (applause)
