Oso mudslide: Iraq vet, youth sports coach digs through wreckage
Переглядів 1,1 тис.10 років тому
"In the massive Oso mudslide debris field there is an odd silence. The silence is broken by the bark of search dogs or the din of hovercraft in the distance. Occasionally a helicopter will fly in to hoist out another victim. Amid the towering piles of wreckage was Iraq war veteran and local youth football coach Matt Pater. There are kids in here, he said, as he ripped pieces of homes and destro...

    There is an area of I-84 west near the West Hartford border where crows gather every fall around dusk. Usually, the gathering was similar to what is shown in the video. But I remember one time when there was an exceptionally large gathering; thousands of crows flying in dense packs and every inch of available branch space was occupied by a crow. It was one of the most astonishing things I have ever seen.

    The 911 mishandled this whole situation by being annoyed and dismissing this woman’s first call as non-priority. They were even still acting that way after the house exploded, incomprehensible behavior for a 911 dispatcher. The “father” was definitely at fault but their negligence was a contributor without a doubt.

    is drowning underground really that much better then the road collapsing onto ground level from under you? Really? In the end, this tunnel is not safer then the viaduct. And when liquified soil causes the tunnel to collapse the shifting earth will bring down all the buildings around it. Oh yeah, someone was thinking of "safety" alright with this nonsense. Its all about money, cause in the end there are zero survivors in that tunnel and many surviving on the viaduct. Just saying.....

    Wait a minute ... WHAT ? "He started tumbling & panicked" ? So overwhelmingly that he couldn't pull the parachute rip-cord handle secured to his chest ? The rip-cord ... Securely attached to his chest ? The guy with obviously extensive jumping experience who planned this entire thing SO WELL that he has never been identified wasn't able to accomplish THE MOST CRITICAL function. Pulling the parachute rip-cord bolted to his chest ? Now THAT is the Funniest BS yet. Of course this is coming from the modern & Sickeningly Corrupt & Dishonest ( understatement ! ) FBI

    Not everybody choose this sophisticated method for such a job. I think he had enough experience in skydiving that made him to choose it. Asking for 50 dollar nots had it's philosophy. While the serial numbers were registered, it's not like that any ice cream vendor or pizza parole check every bill they receive. He made it, because they bever found his body!

    Omg this dispatcher is as useless as a screen door on a submarine. She literally has to explain herself ten times; like why didn't you get the details of the story why she was hunting around for the address if you were unclear with the situation?! What difference does her fucking plate number make Jesus christ condescending little prick!! When Josh blew that house up I would have called that 911 line back and requested that same dispatcher and said "see!! I TOLD you I smelled gasoline and that this could be potentially life threatening and YOU wanted to play 20 questions and not get help out to me and now 2 little kids are DEAD you stupid little fucker!" He only received a "letter of reprimand" for his poor performance. Guess they treat dispatch like law enforcement.

    The FBI messed up the case when they did a search of a residence back then with no search warrant, and couldn't use the evidence they found in court. So now they hope the case will be covered up since they screwed up and don't want the public to know they did.

    My only couple of thoughts as a couch commentator after watching all the DB UA-cam’s- including Lemmino’s, is for such meticulous planning why would he not of timed the final flight for around daybreak so he could see his landing area at least to increase chances of survival ? Yeah to move in darkness and avoid searchers maybe?only giving him a head start of how many hours but in that cold terrain with no survival gear I’d choose visual awareness first for greater odds of staying alive…..and finally if he did survive and went onto to live out life to a natural death …well,his reason for the whole hijacking was “a grudge “ as stated to the hostess…you would think at some point toward the end of his life he would of let it be known he was still alive so he could let the government know “Fck you! I got away with it”😎

      @joehalliday6081 Рік тому

      He may have planned it for a night jump because earlier flights were booked with Thanksgiving travelers and it was better to jump with fewer passengers that might interfere. Speculation is that his plan A was to jump out while ascending, near Seattle, near Boeing Auburn perhaps. He had demanded the pilots take off with aft stairs down. He put his parachute on as soon as it was delivered with the money. But the pilots refused to leave the stairs down at takeoff so his plan had to be altered. His accomplice, if he had one, would have picked him up near McChord, the flight path following I-5. Since the aft stairs were lowered about an hour later, he jumped when he could see lights on the ground, guessing it was near Vancouver/Portland. As far as not claiming the hijacking, he may have accomplices/relatives that are still alive. The statute of limitations has not run out since he was endicted as "John Doe". That leaves the door open for prosecution indefinitely.
