I don't think there should be. Asura's finally earned his happy ending after 12,000 years of suffering. I think he deserves a peaceful rest after all of this crap.
Asura: i can get my daughter back? Chakravartin: yes. Asura: and live happily ever after? Chakravartin: yes. Asura: and what would happen if i accept? Chakravartin: you will become god. Now, do you acc- *gets punched* Asura: *I REFUSE!*
13:40 Asura: Hmmm let me think about that? stay as a God of the new world or Punch your Face! Chakravartin: Choose wisely Asura? Asura: Ok I choose punch your face Chakravartin: WHA!!
Asura's Wrath does a fantastic job at representing truly divine beings. Most other works (especially western) have gods that seem like superpowered mortals and nothing more.
19: 40, that creator god was so pissed, he threw everything and was like: "fuck this buddhism bullshit , i'mma bust your face off, bitch!" i loled so hard xD
To be honest, I do like how Chakravatin is portrayed in this version. He's confident in himself, and rightfully so since he's the creator and all, but doesn't blaming "destiny" or anything. He's just flabbergasted by how powerful Asura can become and in the end can only frustratedly say "I cannot win"
Yes, basically it was impossible for you to lose but even so I couldn't defeat Asura, it was something incomprehensible for someone who knows and can do everything.
THIS is how you make interactive movie. Not like Telltale doing their inept games, not like David Cage with his pseudo-drama. Even though Asura's Wrath have some issues it's so awesome that you don't give a damn. It's a shame though that this ending is available as DLC. I would gladly pay another $40-60 for full edition.
In a way, Asura is one version of Goku from Journey to the West, but with something Goku don't have... responsibility and love. Just as Otto said:"Anger born from love has the same power as love." And this final chapter shows his responsibility towards the world and his daughter. Goku was irresponsible, and without a care of the world, that was the main reason he met his tragic end. In my view, Goku died during that 500 long years of imprisonment. The one remaining was just a monkey being tamed. The real hot blood and fighting will were no more to be seen.
I was actually surprised that this ending was way more satisfying than what I expected. It's a shame that the only thing I wanted was this to become animated, and explain more on; The state of the people still living in Gaea, the Seven Dieties, And why in the hell is Asura and the others a cyborg?! But all in all I freaking enjoyed this so-called 'game' I really, really hope they make this into an anime!
Well, I think that the Seven Generals spirits appeared in the water fall along with Asura's wife because they each realized that the great golden dork had messed with them all and were, in their own strange way, giving Asura their support...or simply wishing him well!
Also, fun fact. At 30:55, when He says that he will never forgive him for making his daughter cry and then proceeding to punch the Creator in the face, that's a throwback to when he first saw his daughter cry. He didn't know what to do to stop it, so his only way was to punch whatever that made Mithra cry.
*Saitama sitting there taking it* "wow... hes tough... thougher than anyone I ever met before." *knocks Asura's head clean off* "not again. All it took was one punch!" "DAMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!"
Every now and then, I'd look for this game's fights. It kinda triggered my anger and then made it fade away. The way they made the bosses stupidly ridiculous created this sense of scale on how much anger he have. "How could he be this powerful?" Because there's a greater power that do the quick time events.
but when you think about it if you look into the circumstances of goku's deaths, you'd see that its usually not of him getting beaten to death but of him sacrificing himself he held raditz down for piccolo to hit him with the special beam canon and he used instant transmission to teleport a self destructing cell away from the planet
The end of episode 22 where they show the rencornation of all the deceased main characters is more like What if ? so I don't think this is the real ending it's probably just a guess as to how the story might have ended. So it is not yet a fact that the fall of a meteorite is the true ending it may be just one of the options for the development of the future or even just a suggestion.
The hardest thing Goku has achieved: "theoretically" destroy a planet. The hardest thing Superman has achieved: move planets after skinny dipping in the sun to gain power. The hardest thing Asura has achieved. Destroy an enemy base that is so huge that Galaxies orbit around it with one fist. Not to mention he annihilated the creator of the Universe and its dimmensions. You also are overlooking that a blue star gives Superman significantly more power. So many people don't even count for that fact. Goku is also only alive because he is fused with a Kai's lifespan so he's technically able to live for a significant period of time; roughly 1000 years or so.
