There has to be a balance between Life and Death, Chakravartin wanted to rule life with his guidance, but Asura by the way he was made for, completely lived through his trial. Too much good causes Corruption and Altercations, Tis why there is a "Necessary Evil" allowed in the Universe.
They really need to, since the true ending was DLC when it was originally released. The disc had a pseudo ending that ended the Gohma part of the plot during episode 18 iirc but the last four episodes that fully tied up most of the plot threads were behind a goddamn paywall, which this fight is a part of. Whether that was due to the supposed reason of the game being literally too big for the disc it came on, as some say, or it being due to the attitude Capcom was having at the time, not for me to say, but either way, the game is at this point not in its complete form, and the PS3 and X360 stores will be down forever eventually, meaning unless they remaster it, the game as it is now will eventually be permanently incomplete to anyone whom wishes to play it without the DLC "True Ending"
All the reasons you said, and the fact that in 2019 everyone gets offended by everything. The game was awesome, but if the conversations about Hinduism and religion in seeing in all the comments is a warning of itself. The game was loosely based on Hinduism and Buddhism well having alot of fun fights and action scenes. I mean Asura isn't even a sigular term or person when it comes to the mythology. So the game is based loosely on that.. I mean I think I figured that out when they were like robots or had giant space ships lol. But beyond all that its just that fighting games like this just aren't popular or don't get good advertising, especially when they have to compete with similar games, but have bigger names behind them.... Like Naruto or Dragonball for example.

11:09 Chakravartin's arrogant, perfect expression shattering as Asura smashes his fist into his face is probably the most satisfying punch I've ever seen.
It's such a small detail in this fight, but I appreciate how Asura briefly slumps his shoulders as the giant orb flies towards him; before moving to just punch it anyway. I'd say it's a sign of Asura's realization of how absolutely unmatched he is, but still continues regardless. Or I'm reading into animations too much.

After all, he's a amazing man who pretty much dropped everything in search of knowing in his own words translated into English he said: " I am not God, nor am I a messenger of God I am One who is simply Awake." May this comment grant insight to anyone reading this to understand and better themselves Love and Light to all of you~(˘▾˘~)
the story of a man who was wronged in every sense of the word then felt a kind of anger that in the end was a justifiable one when even though he couldn't understand it at first he knew even after his death someone was making his daughter cry. he who went to depths of hell and to the heights of heaven to bring his wrath on those who wronged him and made his daughter cry. it's actually am amzing story to show how far anyone, in this case a father will go to make everyone pay for the wrongs they committed on him, his murdered wife, and making his daughter suffer for their own selfish goals.
Yeah, it society propaganda at it finest. The MALE figure SHOULD always sacrifice and give up everything in their own strength to serve the FEMALE...in this case, refusing to be enlighten become a God himself.
Asura: You will let me have my daughter? Chakravartin: Yes. Asura: and live happily ever after? Chakravartin: Yes, now accept my offer, alright? ... *BUT I REFUSE* *PUNCH*
I think people need to understand something. Chakravartin, in the final phase of the battle, knocks Asura back to his BASE FORM....and Asura still beats the shit out of Chakravartin. Badass.
One of my favorite little things here is that, despite appearing to be entirely flesh and blood, despite appearing so much higher and mightier than Asura, Chakravartin still makes the same robotic sounds, the same metallic creaks, whenever he moves. He's no different from the rest of the gods, despite all his posturing
Even better, while the first form appears so uncannily human in flesh and form, but when the true form reveals itself, it is not a cyborg, but a cold machine. At the end, the true god is even less organic than others which fits why he can't understand why Asura told him no.

Honestly, this game was ahead of its time. My favourite touch is the fact that, as you get further into the battle, you see Chakravartin's reaction commands, and him starting to mess them up as Asura beats the everloving shit out of him.
4 years ago this video came out, only getting recommended to me today. I have beaten Asura's Wrath so many times over, and to this day that game is one of my absolute all time favorites. Legitimately a story of how a father gets back at every single person who harmed his daughter and made her cry, to the point of ending LITERALLY GOD HIMSELF AND ALL THAT EXISTS BECAUSE OF IT because of that fact. BRUH. Fucking Asura, forever will be the goat in my eyes.
I love the parallel here The father who cared so much about his daughter hes willing to destroy everything, including himself for her sake and The Father's equivalent of giving his children guns then leaving for another spouse expecting to only have 1 kid left when he comes back
15:25 this make me realize how high the asura's battle iq is. There are many scenes of counter attacking his opponent's strikes but this is the example here that how asura can read opponent's movements and abilities within a short time and can also think every possibilities during a fight and how to counter and avoid them. I have seen most protagonists got sent flying after the strike gotten by the opponents and strike them again behind their back after sending them flying. I have never seen most of the protagonists able to counter their attacks in this situation
And the fact he was in pure rage whilst in the mitts of the battle and let's not forget the term "blinding rage" and how rage can easily blind someone with there tactics and just go rampage but in asura's case he is indeed still on rampage but he has control where he can fully unleash it and when not to
Kratos: Greek Legend, Total Kickass, angsty Man with Over Powerd glaives. God Of War Asura: Really pissed off Asian Demi God, Over Manly fist. Dont need knives or swords to get the job done. Except that one time... God of Destruction
Didn't remember kratos regrowing hands either. And i PLAYED god of war 3 and the new one. He can now die by wolves while asura still fighting Acuma in as a statue somewhere.
I love it when villains say "Impossible!" like that. All their arrogance and delusions of 'ultimate' power shattered. Makes me want to jump into the scene and say "Well, it clearly IS possible. It's happening right now. Idiot." It's especially sweet when it happens to a so-called 'god'.
Yeah, but in this case, he literally created their universe and Asura, but there are a ton of plot holes with the fight, like how he apparently created all of reality, but he phase in and out of existence when Asura tries to attack him, he can't mind control Asura, he can't create a clone of Mithra to use as a vessel and he has to physically fight and beat Asura to wipe him out of existence instead of just mentally erasing him with his mind and he somehow can't freeze time and kill him without him being able to react.
@@arnowisp6244 Right. He could have been a false god who only managed to fool everyone into thinking he created the universe, just so that he could rule over them.
Out of every video game, anime, movie, or comic I've ever borne witness too, I don't think any one moment could be more legendary than "O: Extend arm." It's at the very top of all of them in my mind.
Man, this may have been uploaded 6 years ago, but the way you played the final boss really felt like Asura was slowly learning, rather than watching someone do perfect inputs. MrTBSC or it would break the PS4.

Badass.
I haven't played this game before, but I wonder that is chakravartin the Buddha from Buddhism ?
Chương Vũ Lê Nguyên No. Chakravartin is a form of Brahman, from Hindu mythology.
