If my friend was being brought to court and falsely accused and if found guilty, will be out thousands of dollars, I would back him up. If I could not get off of work or school, I would write a letter. What the judge meant is that either they are NOT good friends and do not CARE if their friend is falsely accused and suffers a serious financial hurt and they are irresponsible friends OR he was not innocent. Good friends help one another out when in trouble. Bad friends do not help and are irresponsible. We are our brother's keeper. Do unto others as you would would want done unto you. I hope this explains it better to you.

while it's always a good idea to get a police report, I want to share a story where I gave the benefit of the doubt. Years ago, I was side swiped and it took off my side view mirror. He was a kid and asked me not to put through insurance. He worked at a car supply place and said he would come and repair for me. A few days later he came to my work, replaced the mirror with exact colour and a Toyota mirror. Worked out for me and him!

Are you supposed to call 911 for even a minor car accident ? Years ago a guy hit my car from the rear at the red light. We exchanged information and then went on our ways and let our insurances handle it.

Based upon the position of the vehicles per the defendant:
The defendant stated that the bus was a tandem bus. So, how does that type of bus, make the extra wide turn without entering into the defendants lane to carry out this extra wide turn? This could have caused him to move his vehicle into the direction of the plaintiff.

I won't lie, I wouldn't want to go into court either, much less one that was aired on national TV. I'm not fond of being on camera (hated taking those damn yearly school photos) and would otherwise look like an idiot, most likely. If I were going to TPC, I wouldn't be going as part of the case - I'd be there to watch as an audience member.
Though idk...I feel like work and school should be priority? I know they're supposedly his friends, but when you've got school assignments and a paid income, you can't just drop that for a court case - even if you were a witness. Tbh, if it were me, I would've had to decline for this as well, along with the reason I gave above: I am uncomfortable being shown on camera. Sorry, bud, but I've got tests to study for and money to keep a roof over my head. If you're not guilty, you'll be okay. But if you are, then I'm not gonna protest for ya. I would treat going to court as a friend's witness as "doing business" - it's too risky and could ruin the friendship. :/ ESPECIALLY if they lose the case or they're lying and I have to tell the truth while standing on their side.
