I actually believe that the defendant did pay her sister and the sister lied to her saying that her boss was taking money out of her check. "If I did, she would have a receipt." That's something a liar says.
Yes, I wish she would stop saying that. It's a stupid comment. Also, because her father and brother are contractors she thinks she's one too. My brother is a plasterer, I know nothing about plastering.
If this was Judge Mathis, he would have said the sister has crackhead tendencies. He would have figured out the sister wasn't paying for the car but instead was paying for the advances her sister was taking out to buy crack. That she still owed the sister's boss the $700 for the car.
exactly...the sister that is with the plaintiff is the crackehead and is doing extra curricular with the convenience store owner which is very convenient for him
The sister lying bc she needs to keep her job then I believe the sister was paying her the $ bc she believed the bossman was taking $ out her pay bur came home like she had nothing to give to stay rent free..smh
What’s wrong with the plaintiffs? They weasel word every reply, even the initial premise the plaintiff refused to say he has 12 cars he’s selling and she bought one and owed him money. So slimy
Not that I trust any of these litigants, but TPL was filmed in the NY metro area, and being affected by Sandy around here was very common. I’m not surprised she got a lot of those cases.
I believe the witness for the plaintiff lied about her boss taking the money out and about not receiving any form of payment from the defendant. Notice too the defendant didn't want to talk about her sisters criminal history but the sister was quick to call her evil even though she let her love with her🤷🏽♀️
The guy started to say the vehicle is not in my name but he was helping sell it and then the judge cut him off and we never got to hear that but I caught it
They buy cars and don't change the title into their name. They sell it on and most buyers have no idea they're dealing with a slimeball. It saves them (the seller) money and avoids an investigation by the government. I used to manage an auto auction and dealt with investigators asking questions about these people. Yes, these people. It was the same group of people at every one of our locations throughout California. They also sell salvaged vehicles without telling the buyer. I would never EVER buy a car from them.
The reason the defendant's story doesn't make any sense is because she's lying. JJ always says that if you tell the truth, you don't have to have a good memory. The truth is the truth and the story never changes.
She borrowed $700 to buy a car, but the ended up buying the plaintiffs car, so the money was handed back to him after a few days that he lent her the money. Which means she still owes him the $700.
My head hurts trying to figure out whose telling the truth! If the sister (defendant) would’ve just gone to the plaintiff (guy) and paid just him, no matter what her sister was telling her, she wouldn’t be in court.
This is one of those cases where Judge Marilyn felt like she was pulling hens teeth to get a straight answer out of anyone. So what do you do? You do by the law. No receipt you lose. Pay the man. NEXT
I don't believe a word the sister said. I think she lied and pocketed the money. I think she told her sister that he was taking it out of her check and had her believe the car payment was being paid that way. I think she's a druggie who would lie to save her own ass. The defendant better throw her out!
I think the sister got the $700 from her boss to give to her sister. Which is why the boss was confused. The sister also got $700 from the defendant as repayment. I think the sister is the chaos.
I don’t know how the judge can keep track of what is going in some of these cases. What the heck are they are saying? When you go to court, have your story/ thoughts and sentences put together.
What’s weird is I don’t believe any of them about anything lol 😂. All 3 of them talked in circles the whole time.
This
I could listen to you talk for hours.
Yep
❤ They are ALL Nuts ❤
Judge Judy would’ve kissed them all good bye!
No one can answer a damn question! Good grief!
Sorry, what was the question again? 😂
😂😂😂
These are 3 of the most annoying human beings can’t believe I made it through this case🤦🏾♂️ NOBODY should’ve gotten anything!
Thanks for the warning ⚠️ I'm out
I got through it and still don’t understand 😂🤦🏽♀️
Exactly wow lol
Crazy case, and I finish watching it lol 🤷🤣😂🤣😂
Agreed
I left more confused. 😂😂
Something is NOT right on either side!
I absolutely agree 💯
The most confusing case ever.. My head hurts !
😂😂😂
I actually believe that the defendant did pay her sister and the sister lied to her saying that her boss was taking money out of her check. "If I did, she would have a receipt." That's something a liar says.
Yep. SMH!
I said the same exact thing. Then she was just staying with the sister up until two weeks ago. Something is very fishy about him and that sister 🤔🤔🤔
I believe the defendant too. Her facial expressions are spontaneous and seem genuine.
"I lost my info in a hurricane" is the adult version of "The dog ate my homework."
😂😂😂
That's exactly right, Bobby! 😂 Hilarious! 😂😂😂
Yep
😂😂😂
My guess is that drugs are involved as payment somewhere here 😏
My guess is she paid her sister and the sister kept the money and is stuck with lying to her boss
I agree.
That's a possibility
I do not believe that
Why continue to allow him to garnish the sister pay esp if she only make 125. She could've paid him directly and stopped all the confusion
and bought drugs
Idk what kind of tissue JM uses but it’s hard to use a crayon on my tissue lol
🤣
Yes, I wish she would stop saying that. It's a stupid comment. Also, because her father and brother are contractors she thinks she's one too. My brother is a plasterer, I know nothing about plastering.
Guys it's a figure of speech.
😅😅😅
She's speaking figuratively and not literally. It's quite obvious.
He couldn't legally take money out of her check.
Right and he didn't take it. The sister was bluffing the defendant to get money from her.
@@barbarareel71mom1son04 for herself.
of course he can...if she authorises it.
The sister standing next to the plaintiff is lying
Absolutely!
They’re all lying
Judy woulda said there's something fishy about this whole thing and dismiss it.
13:14 The sister with the fake look of offended astonishment. 😂
Such dramatics!
Hard to tell if it's alcohol or meth with the plaintiff's witness.
I agree. I think she’s on something
I’ll just take a wild guess and say boffum 😂
A lot of smoking cigs & booze
What a confusing case! Phew!
Something is fishy here! Are they all using?
If this was Judge Mathis, he would have said the sister has crackhead tendencies. He would have figured out the sister wasn't paying for the car but instead was paying for the advances her sister was taking out to buy crack. That she still owed the sister's boss the $700 for the car.
exactly...the sister that is with the plaintiff is the crackehead and is doing extra curricular with the convenience store owner which is very convenient for him
I believe the defendant and her sister is a liar..
He sell cars but doesnt want to pay taxes and doesn't want to incriminate hmself
The sister lying bc she needs to keep her job then I believe the sister was paying her the $ bc she believed the bossman was taking $ out her pay bur came home like she had nothing to give to stay rent free..smh
I agree
Yep!!!
I believe she paid her . The sister kept saying, "Where is the proof. If she had it . I think the sister didn't pay him the money. She looks sneaky
Agreed!!!
These people gave me a headache.
Once i seen the sister on the plaintiffs side i ran to the comments 😂
I believe the plaintiff is married but has a affair with his employee.
these are the three stooges - literally
What’s wrong with the plaintiffs? They weasel word every reply, even the initial premise the plaintiff refused to say he has 12 cars he’s selling and she bought one and owed him money. So slimy
WHAT TF DID I JUST WATCH ??!!?!?!😂😂😂😂
I think the judge got this one wrong
I felt bad for the defendant and JM was twisting her words regarding the rent 😢
I actually want to scream. What is even happening here, I can't stand these people.
Everyone is shady! Also nice profile picture!
😂 it definitely felt like the twilight zone
I have a headache 😫
This is weird.
Insane. The defense doesn’t have to prove anything. The plaintiff does though.
I really can't get behind either one. They all seem shady.
No...the judge is NOT listening. He told her 3 times that HE physically gave her cash money in her hand!!! Damn!!!
The sister on the plaintiffs side looks like she smoked that money uuup 😆
It's like half the known world was hit by Hurricane Sandy!
Not that I trust any of these litigants, but TPL was filmed in the NY metro area, and being affected by Sandy around here was very common. I’m not surprised she got a lot of those cases.
Both plaintiff and defendant are on drugs 🤷🏽♀️
Why do most of the litigants have so much trouble explaining their cases?
I thought the female plaintiff was the defendants mother
Yeah, looks like she’s had it rough. Honestly I was thinking drug addict.
Plaintiffs are sleezy.
I hate all three of them.
I believe the witness for the plaintiff lied about her boss taking the money out and about not receiving any form of payment from the defendant.
Notice too the defendant didn't want to talk about her sisters criminal history but the sister was quick to call her evil even though she let her love with her🤷🏽♀️
This was very confusing. I have no idea what happened.
Come on judge I believe the defendant
Absolutely! 💯
Ok, I’m about to scroll on. I’m simply trying to do laundry and listen in. All the confusion makes my white noise experience impossible!😂
The guy started to say the vehicle is not in my name but he was helping sell it and then the judge cut him off and we never got to hear that but I caught it
Which explains why he gave her the money because it was not his car
They buy cars and don't change the title into their name. They sell it on and most buyers have no idea they're dealing with a slimeball. It saves them (the seller) money and avoids an investigation by the government. I used to manage an auto auction and dealt with investigators asking questions about these people. Yes, these people. It was the same group of people at every one of our locations throughout California. They also sell salvaged vehicles without telling the buyer. I would never EVER buy a car from them.
❤ Makea a lot of sense to me. Thank you. ❤
I got a headache listening to this
Yep
Family will eff you over EVERYTIME.
The defendant is making it up as she goes along and the other one too I will not give them anything if that was the judge but thank God I am not
Who's on first😂😂😂😂😂 Ring around the Rosie
😅 B I N G O 😂
The reason the defendant's story doesn't make any sense is because she's lying. JJ always says that if you tell the truth, you don't have to have a good memory. The truth is the truth and the story never changes.
The plaintiffs are dodgy
She might have a drug addiction and could be saying she never got paid 😂 who knows
One looks like a ventriloquist figure.
WTF? 😂
i mean what do you expect for a 98 for 1500? Replacing the transmission should just be expected.
I don’t believe anyone. Nobody telling the truth. They all seem off like drugs or drinking??? What the heck???
All three are crazy!
The judge didn't listen to her saying that she paid $1,500. And the defendant should have never put money in her sister's hands.
At 6:44 the plaintiff was asked a question and he first turned to the sister and then changed from his original story.
All 3 can't explain how the transaction work. They can't explain if money was borrow or paid!
She borrowed $700 to buy a car, but the ended up buying the plaintiffs car, so the money was handed back to him after a few days that he lent her the money.
Which means she still owes him the $700.
Sister is a book you can't trust by the cover
That goes for all of them
The man is annoying
Ion know who’s to believe 😂😂😂
If I was that guy I would run!!
Real Fast
She changed her story at least 3 times about how it was supposedly paid. She's not believable at all.
Plaintiff's witness has pretty hair.
My head hurts trying to figure out whose telling the truth! If the sister (defendant) would’ve just gone to the plaintiff (guy) and paid just him, no matter what her sister was telling her, she wouldn’t be in court.
The answer is yes or no Judge Marylin sounding like judge Judy
Omfg!! This case is so frustrating I want to throw my phone. 🤬🤬
Quickly lost interest in this case. Too much talking in circles. Didn't care enough to watch more than half way. And I LOVE People's Court.😅
Judge Judy would have dismissed this case.
You missed out on a lot. 😂
This is one of those cases where Judge Marilyn felt like she was pulling hens teeth to get a straight answer out of anyone. So what do you do? You do by the law. No receipt you lose. Pay the man. NEXT
The mistake was buying a Chrysler product to begin with
GEEZUS!! Just rule for the plaintiff already!
The defendants mouth was completely open like he’s crazy
Hurrican Sandy ? Wow that is hard to believe bamk statement from her phone should have shown everything 😢 we live in a computer world 😊
I don't believe a word the sister said. I think she lied and pocketed the money. I think she told her sister that he was taking it out of her check and had her believe the car payment was being paid that way. I think she's a druggie who would lie to save her own ass. The defendant better throw her out!
Defendant was talking in circles. She couldn’t even get her own story straight.
If the judge would shut up they could explain
The entire case was like Hurricane Sandy.
Just a flippin whirlwind. Not easy to follow!
bottom line is she owes $2000 for the van !! simple pay the guy
This is the weirdest thing Ive ever watched. The defendent is one of dumbest people Ive ever watched on this show.
Was this People's Court or a Senate hearing because NONE of them could answer a freakn' question.
The girl in the background biting her nails the whole time though lol
Boy I wish Judge Mathis had this case.
I was SO confused over that $700.
She never lets people talk. So annoying.
Liar liar does the defendant have proof? Duh
This is a math question in grade 5
I would testify against my mama if she's truly wrong. My integrity means so much more to me.
The female plaintiff looks like Sara Ravencroft from Scooby Doo, Witch’s Ghost . 😄
I kind of believe the defendant....
nah the judge was annoying asf in this.. like let them talk 😭
I believe the defendant.
I think the sister got the $700 from her boss to give to her sister. Which is why the boss was confused. The sister also got $700 from the defendant as repayment. I think the sister is the chaos.
I would of never guessed they were siblings in a billion years
Two liars, Two dummies, No Verdict!
I don’t know how the judge can keep track of what is going in some of these cases. What the heck are they are saying? When you go to court, have your story/ thoughts and sentences put together.
The blonde sister was pocketing the cash and lying to her boss and the the brunette sister
