Having owned the bike for 6 months and pumping close to 9k kms, here's my opinion- 1. Fantastic bike and great value for money 2. At the service center (Chennai) they had been very supportive and accommodating to odd requests. I get more support in comparison to friends owning other brand SBK's 3. 4 Year unlimited milage warranty un paralleled offering About the bike- 1. Annoying part is due to it low ground clearance have to tip tow over every speed braker 2. Its a bit hard to take the bike out on crappie roads / country roads, thanks to a much harder suspension setup 3. Fantastic power delivery, yet its a bit jumpy and is comfortable only after 4-5k rpm 4. Power delivery is also non-linear (rough while accelerating hard which makes you hold to your pants much harder), while accelerating even a little hard the bike keeps popping up it front far too often 5. Adding grab-rails or luggage racks are impossible and from a touring perspective 6. Very planted at corners 7. The rear underbelly exhaust isnt heat shielded and causes significant discomfort for pillion and a challenge while trying to tie up the luggage for touring 8. finding Neutral is a big pain 9. Absolutely zero heating issues- thanks to the side mounted radiators 10. Great road presence and a huge head turner 11. Fantastic braking- good initial bite followed with a nice progressive feel
amazing looking bike, had a chance to buy one for a great deal a few years back and passed, totally regret it too.. Instead I ended up with a lemon R1 that was great for 6 months and has been a pain ever since. boo
