The lack of elastic safety straps by the buckles really bothers me… especially the waist band. It probably won’t come undone but if it does that’s a huge risk and I have no clue why they wouldn’t add them. I also feel that the buckles are made out of very cheap plastic which is a bummer (I’m comparing to Artipoppe and Lennylamb or even Tula)
I know what you mean but no!! The Wildbird Aerial has straps that are wayyy more bulky in that area and I found it very uncomfortable but the Mabe isn't bothersome at all!!

Hi. The Monarch carrier actually is machine washable. Wash cold on a gentle cycle. It cleans amazingly well.

Is it uncomfortable on the sides of your neck? I see it touching both sides of your neck and I’m not sure if that would bother me or not
