The strobostomp hands down best tuner. Easy to see. VERY accurate.

It's called backlash guys! When you tune up it takes up the backlash in the tuner (capstan)

I find the HX Stomp one to be fine. Especially, when you put it in Strobe mode.

It’s perfect at home... but I have old eyes... and sometimes the stage has flashing lights or the mid day sun... and the screen is TINY!!!

One of the first things I learned was to always detune below the note then tune up. Always made sense to me. Cool vid ;)

Yeah the tuner on my boss me80 is kinda hard to use cos it has no green lights to say you're in tune so i got the polytune 3 - it also has the always on feature and can daisy's chain ther pedals too unlike the mini

Some pedals offer both, true bypass or buffer and some don’t. For some players it makes a role. And some sum it up and play samba. I like sambuca

More simply put, if you tune from sharp to flat, the string will often bind in the nut.

Try tuning your strings via a harmonic on the 12th fret. Your tuning and tuners will be more stable.

I was wondering why doesn't players include hardwire ht-5 or even ht-6 for comparison. It's also a polychromatic tuner as the famous one from TC electronic. And it is as good as.

I've been looking for this comparison but I couldn't find it. I think there's no sense comparing monochromatic with poliphonic tuners. They have totally different technologies.

nothing terribly wrong tuning the "wrong way", just takes you longer and more tries before you settle in tune.

Dude., all the tuners except the strobe was out of tune. the strobe never stopped when the other tuners said in tune. Therefore. you were not in tune yet. you must stop the wheel on the strobe completely put the wheel or LCD wheel at rest. At rest is just that, at rest = zero movements. This showed me when your other tuners said in tune you were still about 10 - 15 cent off. However. I know you have no practice with the Strobe, once you get a feel for how to put the strobe to a state of rest you should go back and do this again.

Yes it looks like it does everything but serving its main purpose. I think it sucks for intonation with this lotto/roleta wheel 😊
