Paddington 2 is rated as the greatest movie ever made. Yes, really! Actually, both Paddington films are excellent and I'm looking forward to the third incarnation later this year.
I watched 'Paddington' on a whim about two years ago, and thought it was great, and much better than I had anticipated. Then I watched 'Paddington 2', and was absolutely floored! It was - IS - a fantastic film. I've seen it four or five times in just the past two years, and it's a definite 10/10 for me.
The villainess and villains in Paddington series have so far been excellent: Fully committed and completely taken vilianous role. I can't wait for 3rd part.
I have a very old history with this bear, hell, my first memory is tied to Paddington at two years old… I took Paddington everywhere, eventually we moved some years later and in the process he was lost. I never had the same connection with another one ever again.
I'm 62. My mom read the Paddington books to me and my sister when we were small, and I had a stuffed Paddington bear complete with duffel coat, red hat, and lost and found tag.
When this was released in the UK,you could almost hear the sigh of relief from the nation that they had done our National Treasure justice,so many of us grew up with the 5 minute stop motion shows just before the news, a time when families sat together to watch. Happy memories for this 61 year old
Yay more Paddington reactions :D I always love seeing more people react to my second ever favourite film. I love this movie so much so that I put it on every night to help me fall asleep. I'm autistic and this movie is such a comfort to me so I carry around a little Paddington teddy everywhere I go :]
This is one of those posts where one clicks "Like" on principle alone. Must be so incredible a feeling for an artist to be alive to see the day their work is so widely seen and revered; I just love Michael Bond's cameo waving to Paddington going by in the cab at the beginning.
I absolutely adore Paddington. He is very much a national treasure here in the UK. My mum is in her 60s and her mum got her a Paddington bear for her 21st birthday, she still has it. In fact hes now wearing my first pair of Wellington boots! (Im in my 30s)
Husband Henry is the hero of her hand-drawn hardback. I'm pleased that Paddington wasn't injured. If he was and taken to hospital, the trouble is they would've just done the bear necessities to make him better!!!! Thank you for the reaction and I'm glad that you enjoyed the film.
People overseas haven't heard of Paddington? What a sad, bleak world you live in. He's been a legend over here for decades, probably better known than Winnie the Pooh. I grew up on the TV series. Paddington 2 is great as well
With Paddington, not only do you get marmalade sandwiches but the Doctor and also Professor Kirke from the Chronicles of Narnia working in a toy shop, It most certainly doesn't get more magical... unless you also watch Paddington 2. Excellent reactions video In addition to Paddington 2, suggest watching the clip of our good friend Paddington sharing tea with Queen Elizabeth II.
Paddington came in existence on 13 October 1958 in the children's book A Bear Called Paddington by British author Michael Bond. Countless books, and has a statue in Leicester Square. He met the Queen in 1999 for her Platinum Jubilee, and the shared marmalade secrets! A true British icon - and I know when we toured the vast array of flowers and wreaths in Green Park, left by the public, there were countless Paddington Bears.
I had to google “capaldi paddington” to figure out what you meant, but it did eventually click and I can safely say there will eventually be many more Capaldi sightings on the channel.
I won't give any spoilers, but it's amusing you're watching this while progressing through 'Doctor Who', since a couple of actors who will eventually appear in 'Who' have small parts in this movie.
I am so glad you enjoy Paddington! Besides the sequel, I must recommend these other amazing underrated family films: Mr. Magorium‘s Wonder Emporium, Baby’s Day Out, The Amazing Panda Adventure, Alaska (1996), Monkey Trouble, Born To Be Wild (1995), Nanny McPhee and Nanny McPhee Returns. 🐻👨👩👧👦👵🇬🇧🤎💛💙❤️
Was wondering if you've seen LOST? It's a TV show. If not if you'd do it. It's filled with mystery and twists. And if you haven't seen it and consider doing it. I will give more of what is needed to watch it. Like first time watchers do not need to binge it. To much stuff you need to pay attention to and soak in as knowledge.
I was basically raised on Lost. It would be so much fun to watch it for the first time again and if I ever bring people onto the channel who haven't seen it then it becomes an option!
You review lots of family movies! Lets see... Godzilla. Twister. Office Space. Kill Bill. All of the Hitchcocks. You watched Silence of the Lambs, right? Doctor Who and BSG are both family fair. But my family might be full of weirdos.

100% on Rotten tomatoes. I adore the second film too.

I would agree that Paddington is excellent and Paddington 2 is better
I cry every time ( No spoilers) 😂😂😂😂😂
The 2nd one is an absolute masterpiece. I didn't know there was a 3rd one coming!
I can’t wait for the third one!!
@@CasualNerdReactions where are you from, please?

A big warm hug of a movie. They did Paddington proud. And the sequel is even better.

This is a really sweet movie and Ben Whishaw’s voice is just perfect ❤

Paddington was huge in Australia back during my childhood.
I’m not sure I speak for everyone. I’m sure many people have.
@@CasualNerdReactions since you watched this can you please watch Alvin and the chipmunks
I'd never heard of Paddington before the movie came out. I can confirm that I was living in a sad, bleak world without him.

In addition to Paddington 2, suggest watching the clip of our good friend Paddington sharing tea with Queen Elizabeth II.
I also learned today that the explorer is played by Tim Downie, who voiced Gale the Wizard in Baldur's Gate 3.

Without spoilers, I'll just say that since you're watching the "Doctor Who" revival series, take note of the "upstairs neighbor" and the bald cabby. 🤫
Capaldi sightings #1
I had to google “capaldi paddington” to figure out what you meant, but it did eventually click and I can safely say there will eventually be many more Capaldi sightings on the channel.
Watch the video with him having lunch w/ the Queen!
Oh I clicked this so fast, I really need something this cosy right now. This and the sequel, so good ☺️
24:30 "Blue is glue, red is dead"
I loved rewatching this with you. You simply have to watch Paddington 2 (right to end the credits).
It’s already done. Scheduled to release on March 30th. ☺️
@@CasualNerdReactionsLooking forward to it 👍

I’ve seen most of these, but there’s a couple I haven’t heard of, I’ll look into them.
Now you really really have to watch Paddington 2 !
This film is an underrated masterpiece .
One of my favourite films, and the second one is even better.
I completely forgot that Peter Capaldi the 12th doctor was in this
Paddington 2 is a must watch. Possibly better than this one.
Fun thing... teachers use paddington bear to teach about refugees and childrens rights in a child friendly way... enven UNICEF
Wow! So many Harry Potter actors. Such a fantastic film. I luv Paddington 🐻
Paddington 2 is considered by many to be even better.
It’s unusually hot
Like you.. 😏
Chrises Reaction 😂
never heard of this one! it totally passed me by. looks great tho!
Same! This one and its sequel are really great films!
Please Chris watch the second Paddington film, Hugh Grant is fantastic in it.
He was so funny! Releasing on March 30th
@@CasualNerdReactions fantastic news 👏👏👏
The Christopher Robin film was equally as charming. The one with Ewan McGregor
I loved that film!
Beautiful film.
I remember the old tv series. All the characters were 2D except for Paddington. Narrated by Michael....?.
Germans say Marmalade instead of Cheese, before taking a photo.
AND WHAT WITH THE FUNNU SKETCH WITH QUEEN ELISABETH II AND PADDINGTON ????????
since you watched this can you please watch Alvin and the chipmunks

Now you have done Paddington 2, watch Inside Out.
Alas, I have seen Inside Out.
@@CasualNerdReactions Brilliant film.
Want some out of the box suggestions for movies not seen on UA-cam yet? Can suggest some films from the UK?
You defininitely.need to watch Paddington 2.
The original stories were to highlight racism and to try to teach tolerance to children, and their parents, in an entertaining way.
You review lots of family movies! Lets see... Godzilla. Twister. Office Space. Kill Bill. All of the Hitchcocks. You watched Silence of the Lambs, right? Doctor Who and BSG are both family fair.

🤣 some of that qualifies for sure.
Oh come on you skip the mouthwash drinking scene? That's my favourite part of the bathroom scene.
