Millicent Clyde was the good guy. She should have stuffed and destroyed that annoying bear. If she was smart she’d have an assassin eliminate anyone who tried to warn the brown’s family. Meaning PADDINGTON would be stuffed and taken care of as it should have been. XD MUHAHAHA 😈🔥
This and the sequel are the two feel-good movies that I will always go to whenever I can. I can’t even decide which is better, they’re both so wonderful!
Once again Millicent Clyde was the good guy. She should have stuffed and destroyed that annoying bear. If she was smart she’d have an assassin eliminate anyone who tried to warn the brown’s family. Meaning PADDINGTON would be stuffed and taken care of as it should have been. XD MUHAHAHA 😈🔥
Please, please, please watch the sequel. Somehow the writer and Director manages to tap into the same level of sentiment in such a good way. Throw in some other quality cameos and you have a great 2 hours.
Originally, the villain Millicent waa going to use her throwing knives in the climax as well while hunting Paddington; understandably it was considered too much for the younger children, and she’s still pretty scary without it. But the villain of the sequel is even better, just as the film in general is… The cast of this film is just fantastic, and the whole thing is so wholesome; we almost got Colin Firth as Paddington but his voice wasn’t considered quite right, and Ben Whishaw is absolutely perfection. I don’t think anything is out of place really.
I'd forgotten how deeply moving and sad the start of this film was. But ultimately; still one of the best things ever. "Every home needs a bear." Yup. 110% on that.
I knew this movie was something I had to see when, during my visit to london in 2018 I saw a group of young guys around 17 or 18 on a train talking about it. It was very funny. With their london accents and speaking in that young tough guy affect, saying what a nice and cute movie it was. Good for them!

Just in case you didn't know: The actor who played Mr Brown also played Lord Grantham in Downtown Abbey and the actor who played the security guard who was hitting on Mr Brown was played by an actor from a British kids TV show called Horrible Histories Also please react to Paddington 2
Oh man this movie has everything I want and more! It's funny, it's wholesome, it's tragic, it's exciting, it's adventurous and it's also quite dark in a way. People say the sequel is even better and as someone who's only watched it once, I don't remember much from it but I do remember liking it so I'm excited to see you guys react to it!
fucking loveeed Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and was absolutely DEADD when they name dropped P2 lmao. Can't wait to see your reaction to that one!
The security guard at 22:50 is played by Simon Farnaby. He co-wrote and starred in the BBC comedy Ghosts. He also co-wrote Paddington 2 and he wrote the Paddington sketch that the Queen starred in, as well as playing the butler in that same sketch!
Good job spotting Michael Gambon as Uncle Pastuzo, but did you pick up on Aunt Lucy being voiced by Imelda Staunton? Funny to think there's a universe where Dumbledore and Umbridge actually ended up together. Both Paddington films were such unexpectedly delightful and wholesome films, like the cinematic equivalent of a warm blanket. Everything about it is so wonderfully charming, from the whimsical dollbox-style direction, to the pitch-perfect cast (especially Ben Whishaw, Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins), to the incredibly witty and heartfelt script. I really hope there's a reaction coming at some point for the second one, I'd argue it's even better than the first and features even more great characters, jokes and earnest heartfelt moments
Despite how much I've enjoyed her in Legendary Pictures's MonsterVerse as well as in The Shape of Water, this is probably my favorite role of Sally Hawkins's. It's a real shame she's not returning for the third movie.
I loved this film and the sequel! Considering how much Pedro Pascal has said he loves Paddington 2 (and his character Javi does in “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent”), I hope he’s cast in the 3rd film! 😂❤
I totally forgot Nicole Kidnan was in this movie! Unfortunately the real London isn't quite like this film or Bridget Jones but then again, it is a fantasy! Glad you spotted Michael Bond waving to Paddington. Do they have Marmalade sandwiches in Austin, Texas? 😉
@@DerekDerekDerekDerekDerekDerek Agreed. I live in London & that colourful row of Terrace houses does exist. I think this film captures all the elements of London - the kindness of some, the unfriendliness of others, the hustle & bustle of people being too impatient to be somewhere & people who wouldn't fit in in other cities or smaller villages, finding their chosen tribe who accept & love them.😊🖤
Uncle Pastuzo is such a marmalade addict (but thank god he’s not addicted to… other substances) that at 4:42 he has a face that says to me ‘No… the marmalade was in there!’. I’m glad they toned it down a bit in Paddington 2 but honestly I’m still sad that he dies in this one. Fun Fact: Did you know that Volodymyr Zelenskyy (the current president of Ukraine as I’m writing this) voices Paddington in the Ukrainian dub of this movie?
Did not read the books, did read Winnie the Pooh, I live near to the bridge where they play Pooh Sticks. Watched P2 before #1. Remember watching Crocodile Dundee 1.5 times at one sitting, part two before the whole film right through when the other family members were watching Cats in the West End.
If you imagine that Paddington is actually a 10 year old black boy from the Caribbean, you will understand the film better. It was originally written to help combat racism during the arrival of people from the Caribbean, what we call now " the Windrush generation". It's all about tolerance and the evil of racism and difference.
Actor you were right about voicing the bear...Ben Whislaw.👍👍👍👍HE IS IN A GREAT FILM "AT THE HEART OF THE SEA" PLAYS MELVILLE, WHO WROTE MINE BY DICK.🐳🐳🐋🐋 ALSO BRENDEN GLEASON AND CHRIS HEMSWORTH.❤❤❤❤❤

My Cousin Vinny MOVIE REACTION @ ua-cam.com/video/aOcAQrkBMWw/v-deo.html
It's a relief to say that - as films based on fictional animals go - Paddington is better than merely bearable.

You are just a being a jerk
Stuffed and mounted? Would look great next to my Ewok skin rug. Google it the first image is mine.
That's terrible. 🤣
This and the sequel are the two feel-good movies that I will always go to whenever I can. I can’t even decide which is better, they’re both so wonderful!
Glad to see you guys are watching Paddington. We need more Paddingtons in the world. I mean, we definitely did back then but even more now.
My daughter broke down crying in the end of the second Paddington movie, it’s so sweet.
So did I! I had to watch it so many times over to be able to bear watching it without weeping 😅😅
Ngl this and Peter Rabbit (yes Peter Rabbit) are my favorite live action cgi animal films. They're just so fun and light-hearted.

7:21 maybe my favorite line in all of cinema.

Sequels can be such a hit or miss but Paddington 2 did not miss at all!

Paddington is voiced by Ben Wishaw.

The best marmalade is made from bitter Saville oranges 🍊 👌. The bitterness is offset by the sugar.
