Anyways, I got the Japanese android version of the game to play alongside TaisatheGamer's DGS2 LP and I noticed nobody had uploaded this scene in HD yet so I thought I'd record it and do that.

They’re Japanese. They bow, not hug, and Asougi gave his friend an informal bow or a nod. That’s the closest to a hug as you’re gonna get.

Asougi's "UAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH" made me freaking cry at 1 AM when I first watched this scene. But it makes me laugh when I rewatch it. It's still sad and painful to watch though ;;

Yeah but simultaneously, she had no right to make wax molds of the deceased. Especially if their friends or family members would have objected. And it's pretty clear in this situation that nobody was ok with her actions (aka sneaking into a graveyard to get a wax mold of a recently executed supposedly mass murderer).
Their voices are top-tier and perfect and makes this scene even more powerful. Full anime with these would be awesome.

Fun fact though, Van Zieks was supposed to be very mad when he found out Asougi was the son of the man who murdered Klimt he leg-slammed his desk so hard it broke in half.
In the finished product however, Van Zieks didn't even give a damn about it...

in Japan its customary to call each other by your surnames with a suffix or not like -san, -tan, -chan or -kun
This is the most creative way to reveal the big bad culprit without outright telling the player

I've seen this scene so many times, but I just noticed some things.
Spoilers just in case:
When Kazuma first draws Karuma, he's shaking. And his expression subtly turns really pained up until he closes his eyes. These tiny details are amazing but I'm also crying all over again.
I really thought he was going to end up being Moriarty lol

why does he remind me of edgeworth so much, both of them had fathers who had a reputation, got into trouble with worse enemies and got themselves killed, both sons wanted to be defense attorneys but turned to prosecutors because of all this, and the fact that another experienced prosecutor trained them to be ruthless prosecutors, and both of them had a time of disappearance. I wonder if edgeworth is a descendant of asougi
Takumi pretty much split the traits of Edgeworth between Baroq and Kazuma. While adding Klavier traits to Baroq and Apollo to Kazuma to distinguish them.

I agree with your first statement (giving Edgeworth traits to both Kazuma and Barok). But I'm gonna have to disagree about the second statement. The only thing that Klavier and Barok have in common is older brother issues, and even then, Barok had a completely different relationship with Klint than Klavier had with Kristoph. I don't think it took Klavier more than 10 minutes in Turnabout Succession for him to tell Kristoph to his face that he's in the wrong; it's clear that Klavier will immediately distance himself from his older brother once the truth is revealed, probably because they weren't all that close to begin with.
Unless you also mean that Klavier and Barok are both, unwillingly, involved in a plot to screw someone over using false evidence they were unaware about? Which ... kinda ... But again, the context is vastly different from what Klavier did to Phoenix vs what Barok did during the professor trial. But I suppose I can understand the comparison.
