Odd that this was recommended to me at 6am, but while I have very little knowledge and experience with AA, I am interested in it since it crossed over with Layton. So I'm slowly getting into it, even though I'm about a decade behind. I notice the Wiki doesn't mention anything of these plays, so do I assume they're amateur productions or more professional? It would have been interesting how they translated the name into English so that the gag continued to make sense in the adaptation as well as the other characters in the franchise.
Subs should be there for everything except the song/dance scene from 43:22 to 45:25 , I can make out some words but not enough for the whole song, sorry! The general meaning of the song is something like "I'm here, look at me standing beneath the spotlight" but I'm sure you guys can feel the vibes anyhow
the part where gumshoe clotheslines larry, lays him gently on the ground, then stands up and fluffs his jacket is b e a u t i f u l i love seeing gumshoe be competent but also his usual gentle self
That was some genuine laughter out of the guy playing Phoenix, I suspect that Stagehand was improvising the names of the weights right then and there so Phoenix went off script to try and mess with him until Maya pulled him back in
1:04:37 so good! That scream at 0:5X speed is so hilarious, l loved how he did it even if it was 'too much' for some. He had energy and l felt that! Not to mention, everyone had the same energy, a worthwhile watch with a lot of laughs and objections!

This is a really small detail, but I really like that they show the scene transitions. Some videos cut that stuff out, or put something over it, but I like seeing everyone move the set pieces and stuff. That may just be because I was a huge theatre nerd in high school but still
The transitions are so clever! The flashing lights when the lantern is about to fall made it just like the games! And the part with the video footage made me laugh.
If it were in game, I can only imagine the low res CG models (like the ones in the second game of the original trilogy). That would make it even more hilarious.
