Have you had much if any experience with the cognito comfort ride torsion bar kit for the newer GM HD trucks. That would apply for both non lifted ( just stock ride height ) as well as mated to the various lift kits. Also with a stock ride height truck with stock tires ( another words stock wheel end weight to control ) would the standard fox 2.0 shocks actually do much of anything over the stock Rancho shocks ride quality wise or would it make it worse/stiffer.
@@NothingButLifts Interesting, I would have assumed the fox shocks would be tuned more aggressive to control larger/heavier tires typically installed with a lift. And as to the torsion bars, I haven't seen that much in the way of comments/talk about them.
@ ok thank you. Took mine to my local shop & they been on it for 2 days now plus few hrs tomorrow. They say the kit is more work than expected. I guess if there not experienced with this kit could take longer. Thanks again
@@NothingButLifts that’s what the shop informed me of. I’m glad they are taking the time to do it right. Not sure what you charge for installation but I’m probably looking at 1200-1500 I’m assuming. I really enjoy all of your videos & information.. if I didn’t live so far in Ohio I would have definitely had you do the lift in my truck. Thanks for your response. Appreciate you.
Got the kit done. Man this thing rides amazing & looks great. Just wanted to say thanks for all the videos. They were a big help in choosing the cognito 4 inch performance kit. I think I watched them all! HAPPY THANKSGIVING Fella!! 👍🏼
@@CdpOper I’m assuming your taking about the forward front bumps, the rearward front are engaged. The rear suspension bump stops only engage after the suspension has been compressed or pretty extreme articulation.
Love these bubba setups.
Great looking truck you guys do great work thanks for the videos
Love this set up truck looks great 👍
Perfection! Clean-stock look. I love it. Could use some front window tint, then it's done (for me)
Wish bds made a true lift this small for the 2020 ups. The 5" is so massive
@@wyattkelley5176 yes so do we. McGaughys just released their 4” kit. We will be doing a video on it this week.
Do you adjust the headlights and also adjust the speedometer as apart of these setups?
With that set up, what is the overall height of the truck? Can you still get into parking garages?
@@JohnAltherr-e3j typically yes, but not all parking garages are the same

@@charlesb4267 fox will typically ride better than rancho, the comfort ride bars are a nice upgrade as well

How long does it take on average to install this kit? Thanks
about 11 hours on this kit

@@nelsonrsakotas4121 This is a very involved kit as far as suspension lifts go.

Bump stops aren’t going to do anything
