@@tommythomason6187 The U36C is a tricky one to differentiate from a C30-7 or a C36-7 because it has the same overhanging radiator so I totally umderstood how you misidentified it....
One thing to always think about here is this scene can never be repeated again---the U-boats seen here have been retired and scrapped as well as the SD45 on the 2nd coal train, the 2 C30-7s are probably working somewhere in South America and the GP40, SD40-2s and SD45-2 are odds are still working for CSX but have been repainted. In addition, the cabooses are also gone and its a safe bet that todays coal drags are solid aluminum hoppers consists instead of mixed company hoppers. Its all gone
@DASCO2136 Yes indeed, lot of truth to what you said here. Well said! So much has changed since I shot this, and won't be repeated again. Thanks for watching & commenting!
That GE C30-7 was puffin' out some smoke!
It wasn't a C30-7....It was en ex Clinchfield U36C
@@thedesertdwellerfromutah4354 Thanks for the info. I'm not as good at telling the GE models apart.

I used to see the trains from seaboard coast line to seaboard system which now part of CSX when I was younger

GP40 6761 to HATX 427. To PRLX same. Stored in south GA at last report.
An incredible era of different schemes galore. Great reference material for model railroaders!
This is some amazing footage.
Thanks for sharing with the world.
Good memories for sure, and lot of variety back then too. Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching & commenting!
Love the old railroad action, thanks
Love this video!!! Lot of classic power from the days when diesel fuel was cheap. Love seeing those old six axle GEs.
Great stuff Greg! Can't wait to see more.
Glad you liked the video! Thanks for watching & commenting!
The two dislikes were Chessie and Seaboard.
@moogman1978 Thanks, glad you liked it! Stay tuned...
I miss seeing those seaboard units go by my house, great video!
Unusual EOT on the coal train, probably a first generation design given the time
@lawbench191 Thanks! Glad you're enjoying them!
@DASCO2136 great info , thumbs up

8176 - now CSXT 2442 (SD38-2S) in service.
8966 - now AZRC SD40-2M 4003 in service
7306 - scrapped 1991
@DASCO2136 I'll have to catch a company coal drag for you of CSX. I bet many of the 6 digit coal hoppers are still in service from this video!
@K4JW Yeah, I miss em too! Thanks!
Thanks! Yeah, those were some good times for seeing good stuff trackside.
Awesome! I have got to get my video up on youtube.
@stevie65able Yes, there sure was a great deal of variety in schemes still around back then. Thanks for watching & commenting!
