You ever attack them in classic wow? They mess up up 😂
it seriously whooped ass there.
What I find hilarious is that the Orcs are monstrous humanoids that fought extremely powerful monsters and beasts on a highly corrupted Draenor. Yet, when confronted with a gryphon, they were like, "Wtf is tha... "
sharp beak and nasty talons are enough to rend, maim and kill any fool who angers the beast
No matter how much bloodshed or hatred humans and orcs hold for each other, it’s nice to see them respect each other at least once.
It seems fel did not corrupt them as much as their game counterpants:
"Doomhammer nodded but did not say anything, and after a moment the man turned and walked quickly away,
ducking back between the rocks and carefully working his way down the cliff beyond the valley. For a moment
Doomhammer considered going after him. A single quick blow would finish such a man, and he already had the
map. But that would be dishonorable. One of the things he hated about his own people, about what they had
become, was their lack of honor. Before, on Draenor, they had been a noble race. But Gul‘dan‘s treachery had
changed all that, making them little more than bloodthirsty savages. Doomhammer was determined to restore his
race‘s pride and purity, and that meant following a strict code of behavior. The man had treated with him in good
faith, and Doomhammer would not betray that. He would follow the path the man had marked, and if it proved
quick and the human troops did not block them he would honor his half of the agreement."

They sometimes do actually, Eitrigg and Tirion Fordring were practically best friends. Broxigar is also venerated by the night elves.

I'm not a warcraft fan, but I greatly enjoyed this move, the Mak'Gora especially. It shows that the orcs are Warriors not killers. He killed his challenger, fairly. Lothar earned the right to leave with the king's body.
Ignoring the fact that they slaughtered all indigenous species of their own planet and tried to do the same in Azeroth, yeah, killers all the way through, a convenient sence of "honor" changes nothing.

it is such a shame this was a great film and a sequel I really wanted to have. It did all the right things. Had a great plot for why bad guys needed to take over the world of the good guys. The twists and turns with character development. The plot had everything going for it. I loved it. For the things it did wrong, those were minor quibbles but story wise this was a solid film and did not deserve the harsh ratings and the flop that it was at the box office.
There are many other movies that are literally just rehashes of stories told a million times over and they go on to make $500+ mil. This one deserved more earnings and a sequel.

This movie was by far one of the best fantasy movies I had seen in a long time. I was not disappointed in anyone's acting and it was a good plot. How it wasn't more popular is beyond me!
It was sold as the adaptation of the videogame and as such, the movie disappointed, but sure, it was a pretty nice movie for your average moviegoer, a little too expensive and didn't bring as much money as needed to be followed by a sequel (if I remember well this movie performed so well in the chinese market it can of began the trend to appeal to chinese audiences)
I guess this scene would conclude a bit different if it were done today: Summons Bird Mount. "You are in the wrong zone." Fumbles through dropdown list of mounts collected. Selects a dragon riding mount. Launches himself into the air and flies about 100 yards. Not enough vigor. Has to sit and wait for vigor to regen. Leaps into the air and flies off to epic cinematic music.
Who else was glad that the big badass birdy was still alive.

@@witcherpie whats wrong with travis fimmel?
Its a shame that they never continued the story with another movie. Things were starting to get awesome. The rise of Orgrim as Warchief, Thrall being raised as a gladiator, maybe the invasion of Stormwind in the first minutes and then Lordaeron. There is so much that they could show.
The universe is so expansive they very well could make a series out of it. I would totally watch that. I've played the games a bit, but I've read most of the lore behind them. Its real good stuff.
It never landed well with the fans because they didn't follow the story as it really is. They made up all kinds of stuff. I'm not a hardcore story fan myself, I just played WoW because I loved the game. That being said I didn't think the movie was that great either way and some of my friends that do know the storyline really wern't impressed by this move.
I think if they made a contract with Netflix or Amazon and made an series in the digital style as their latest game trailers telling the real story of WoW to the exact detail they would be able to really gain a huge audience... Too bad people in charge nowadays only think about how they can reach as many customers as possible even if that requires screwing up the story and its complexity.
@@Que-F1-23 They've retconned and tweakted the story so many times all ready. Who cares if they do it again?
@@Lappmogel @Lappmogel Ooh I'm not disputing that but maybe I wasn't really clear about what I ment.
I believe from a personal opinion that if they would stick very closely to the base storyline that every gamer knows and make more of a Lord of the rings type of movie it would do much better.
I believe it was too much CGI but not in a good way and the story was off.
Or the other route could be everything full CGI like their trailers and stick to that style.
In the end it is all personal preference and the box office has spoken because I just read that they announced late last year that they are working on a sequel.

Although we expected better from blizzard and their partners in making this movie, you can't deny there was some heart put into this
I actually love this movie. Yes, it has pacing issues, and yes the humans could have been developed more (my theory is they focused on developing the orcs because good, relatable orcs isn't something mainstream, but generic fantasy humans is a trope everyone knows). - At the end of the day, however, it was still an epic fantasy movie with classic Warcraft iconic flavor. Well worth the watch - several watches in fact.

That gryphon was like early WoW when you smacked the gryphon master.
I hate how you had to be like level 60 to get a mount that flies I don’t think I ever got one.
Flying mounts came with the first expansion BC, flying in Azeroth came with Cataclysm, the third.
It was always pure joy to see a bunch of high levels being shreddered by the gryphon master. As a low level you knew to leg it fast to the gryphon master.

Blizzard needs to get rid of warriors Titan grip, so that arms feels unique, warrior can be dual swords or axes medium size, and then tank with a medium sword as well. Rogues third class could be a long sword like a rapier. Swift melee range duelist rogue.

I would watch the shit out of a two or three parter for Arthas. His disillusionment, his corruption, his becoming the Lich King. Come back for a final crescendo at the battle atop Icecrown Citadel, where Tirion clashes against him with the aid of heroes, the Silver Hand, and the Ebon Blade.
I just gave myself a movie boner that will never go away. God damn it.
@@bdubeau88 That edgy teenager story is one of the most famous story archs in wow tho lol
Arthas is mostly just Anakin but slightly better written. I'd love to see his story brought to the big screen as well, but I'm not sure it would have worked out better for them.
This was the first war, arthas like 4 years old.
No matter how much of an alliance nerd you are or hate the orcs, you cannot avoid to be moved by their honour.
Unless you're Slyvannas

Sylvanas: Honour? Whats that? Is it edible???
true lol
Thrall restored the Horde honor after this movie. What he did for the Horde cannot be measured. Long time Alliance player and I respected Thrall for what he did. He returned them back to this what you see here.
Honestly after so much war and fighting we’ve seen enough , Killing the final boss in single combat with one signature move is actually awesome way to end it
Really enjoy this movie, I’m no hardcore Warcraft fan but still love it never the less. Wish they’d make a sequel but probably is never gonna happen.
Ragnar will always be Ragnar
yiledute WHO WANTS TO BE KING??
Paula Patton, is one hot and sexy orc, amazing
So that is the guy who plays ragnar i knew it
KING RAGNAR THAT IS MY NAME
The Heretic oh jeez just hold your horses, it’s just a funny comment, nobody’s being type casted here. His first big tv presence was as Ragnar Lothbrok, and lemme tell you a little summthin, if you haven’t seen the utter badassery that takes place in every scene he plays in as Ragnar, then you’re missing out. That look he gives people in every scene, or the little head movements he does is just perfect, gives you the chills just watching him. When he played Ragnar he was in the fucking ZONE.
What it feels like to return to a raid after gaining +50 lvls
Epic scene, deserves part 2!!!!!!!!!!
Me conmueve el honor que tienen los orcos, son mi raza favorita. Son como una imponente familia. No solo fuertes físicamente sinó sus corazones también. :')
“Makora is sacred, and the human won, fairly.”
That was a savage thing to say to Gul’dan, and live to say the next sentence.
“Let these Orcs honor their tradition” (something like that)
Obi Wan must be gasping, after seeing what a person using the low ground to it's full potential, looks like....
Obi wan is master of the low ground.
Search your feelings you know this to.be true
I knew it, Anakin should have went for the balls!
Jaajjajajaj
@@ragarde3861 jaja = balls (testicles) in my language, so jajajjajaj indeed!

Lothar, the only man known for being the first and only one to have his epic flying mount at the very first game, where those didnt even existed.
This was the best part of the whole movie! Comes in like a bat out of hell!
Meanwhile in the Warhammer universe "Oi boyz, dat 'umie just krumped da boss! ZOG HIM, LADZ"
Wouldnt it be the opposite? wouldnt they fear what just killed their warboss considering just how more powerful the warbosses are over regular orks? They would clearly come back later and start a fight but wouldnt doubt there would be a morality issue for a hot minute.
In the Ciaphas Cain novels after the warboss died all of the larger orks started fighting over who would be the next warboss and Cain just slipped out in all the chaos.
The Orks don't fear anything smaller than themselves
bikes
Shiren the Siren depends, sometimes yeah but other times they're so pumped on adrenaline they don't care and kill anything
Love how happy the griffin was to see him again. A badass mount requires a badass rider.
This movie deserved so much more recognition, I still hope they'll make a sequel.
I don`t understand why so many bad critics, I think the movie is awesome, I`ve never heard people to be so furious against the Marvel movies, which most of them are shitty.
me2 man i just hope we will see like 20 more movies like this fuck the critics and whats wrong with ppl prefer to see a classic police or detective movie at the cinema instead of smthing amazing like this
explain
To be honest if I wasn't a fan of warcraft universe, I would saw this movie as nothing more than average. I think there was a lot of blunders that went into why this movie didn't succeed, one was the lack of promotion, I had to constantly look up its release date to remind myself when it came out. They released it in china before they did in america, this allowed critics to bash it before people had a chance to see it.
Despite Warcraft success in the gaming industry, it's obvious it's not very popular outside of china or it would had done way better domestically than it did regardless of critics. I doubt a sequel would come, if Blizzard return to the movie market, it be smarter for them to try overwatch instead. Not Warcraft.
A sequel is being made thanks to the chinese audience
The movie may not have been the best but this scene was awesome. The orcs giving him a salute of sorts as he walks into the crowd. He had won the duel but is still defeated. Hope they can continue the franchise or just reboot it completely
Travis Fimmel was fantastic in this. Carried Llane on his back, as well as the human cast.
Lothar lost his son, so he had to take Blackhand's sons.
wind Is that what he named his testicles? What a weirdo.
kinda gross but yea funny
oh sorry i forgot to laugh
