I agree 100%. I don’t like any female narrators . It ruins the entire experience for me. I’m sure there’s some scientific reason behind why men feel this way due to the screeching high pitch sounds that most females make with their voices. Let it be said, I love women, platonically and sexually. So it’s not that I have something against women because I don’t. I just don’t like them narrating books.

Generally a passable job by a rather poor reader. It's a shame the person didn't seem familiar with words like, "Croat" and "indefatigable". This led to a few awkward, schoolboy style pronunciations....
I beg to differ if you don't like it do a better job .You won't get paid and complainers will heckle relentlessly however it is a fine telling and aye l'm truly grateful. Eagerly anticipating vol.two and good day.
I am always wary about the quality of a narators voice, but this lady does pronounce the words pretty decently, but some I have heard previously on other audiobooks have been dreadful, like Hillybillies reading Shakespeare
