The only way u can raise your credit is 1. Have under 10% you owe on any CC. Having a long history of credit. Paying on time every time every card and car pymts. Having zero collections. With covid, job loss, my divorce my credit is ruined for a long time
It only works if you don’t have credit card debt ?? Meaning defaulting on past due payments? Or meaning carrying a balance too high, like your 100% utilization example? Or both !??
I only found out about secured credit cards about a year ago give them $1,000 then that's your credit limit and once you go to enough credit they'll give you back the thousand and upgrade your card to a regular card
I just did this and they automatically increased my credit limit! I almost wish I asked for a higher credit limit!
Do it online.. when you call them it's a HARD pull

Keep a Lowe’s credit card utilization ratio when your statement date comes out for your credit card
If you've been late on other cc it won't work.
Hmm interesting, I dont imagine this would help me much since my utilization is already between 10-20% per month.

If you are keeping a balance on your card during statement closing, you shouldn't be giving advice to others. Your utilization doesn't build credit
What if you don't have a credit card and cannot get a credit card? How do you raise your score then?
