Update: I was right
Art style looks good. I hope they offer traditional locomotion as it already has a lot of arm swinging combat. They don't need to needlessly wear people out with the grab, pull, swing mechanic. That seems a little much.
Don’t forget about Vox Machinae that is a fun game with traditional controls!

I tried the game on one of the play tests. Gorilla tag wore me out quickly. In underdogs its implamented nicely and whole lrawling mechanic is awesome. I also asked why no locomotion but as i played and got better it was fun and not so tiering
with the balence of the world transitions and having to play a point and click story game between battles it has good breaks, otherwise it does make you go full monkey mode which is kinda fun for me ngl

It sucks this is the closest we'll ever get to REAL STEEL VR. If that movie released today it would 100% have at least a fan game in vr. Maybe one day some legend will make one...

Don't get me wrong I'm not hating on the guy hes great but clearly he has been busy with life or something and has dropped the ball a Lil so hard to nominate someone that hasn't been present I think he and Nathan have just been burnt out n having a break so time for someone that stepped up to get it I think

It looks like an excellent game, if it has a wide variety of enemies and bosses, along with lots of upgrades then it will be an excellent game.
I need updates for this cus I really want the game and I have been saving up my allowance to get it when it comes out

This game is so good and polished at the same time. The illustrations, music, story and the gameplay. Truly shows there's an opening for quality games in VR Market.
ngl, it looks lame and low effort. Especially for a studio that should have experience in VR development by now.
There is an interesting mech control game called Avatar Mech, with multiplayer, the player controls the mech through a skeleton.
The games great on Quest 3, but when you play it on PCVR its soooo much better.
Easily one of the best VR titles out there right now.

Yeah that movement is gonna be tiring. I only have the full use of one arm, and so I can see this being extra difficult, but I do like the overall idea of the game. PvP would be pretty epic, especially if it was ever possible to customise the look of your mech and weapons... like Robot Wars Xtreme!

Super cool stylized game. Graphics are top notch with a better than I usually like cell-shaded style graphics.
Did I miss something though (since I'm watching and working)...I saw other "arena" type areas in the opening video, but it will only be in the arena settings, no levels of even corridors or slightly open? If not, still looks pretty solid, and well made.
this is just a preview of the game - one arena, only combat. The game has a campaign an a few different arenas.
Was this Quest or PC VR build?
This was PC gameplay just for ease of capture but the Quest version holds up really well due to the artstyle []-)

looks awful, if it was a full on campigain story open world evolving around these mechs that would be cool, but this is just a 2016 arena wave fight boring tech demo
Think of it more like a fighting game. Like Thrill Of The Fight or Creed but with mechs []-)
