Armor is much more efficient to buy over evasion until your hero has high armor (like 12 or so is the point where evasion starts to be better). So the talisman on your 3 armor TC is a pretty big mistake. Lowers your effective physical hp by like 200 compared to a ring of protection

none of these strats are viable, I've been playing this map since March 2023 and I've tested all of them except mass kodo, but i think mass kodo will lose the moment someone goes air spam I think these thoughts are relevant for all game versions: If good Tier 1 units can spend quite a while spamming, but eventually have to tech cause you'll get countered at some point, so you need to get buffs and counters for enemy countering you. Air units only can be easily countered if an oppo is good he'll counter immediately and you'll lose, the only chace to win is if opponents dont have any dedicated anti air your team mates are pushing in really hard and you stack with their ground units to tank for you all the rifles/archers/hh/ and if they got fiends/raiders you loose automatically with only air units, its expensive, requires tech and gives time for people to think why not building, maybe scout you and counter you Fast triple hero only feeds XP to enemy hero early game and loose out a lot on shared xp, so it takes more time for the hero to be effective, at level one its just an expensive unit with a strong skill, for 2100 gold, which is the price of 3 heroes including tech, you can make an army that can easily overcome 3 heroes even if i ts mostly t1 and 1 hero. there is a rare chancee that you will luck out and get imba heroes, but all hero need xp, to be really strong if they dont have an army to support them they will die without earning much xp 4 mines ASAP can work against really low mmr players if you have a good roll and know how to play it Tier 3 only is costly and for the time you dont build anything while you tech up, the oppo can already be at your fort, and and if you rush t3, you obviously cant rush income, you probably loose mid income as well, and without income you can not build so many t3 units per wave to make an impact
Like Grubbys focus on his own mines often elongades the games on his channel which is good for content but not effective in-game. You always want to opt for mid control so your whole team profits and not only you. Most "pros" / high mmr player seldome go for third mine and late for second / with tower cuz tempo is much more important on the board.
My first answer got deleted somehow so here it goes again: Around 1750 MMR and 100+ games. None of these tactics might work unless T1 only, with hero though, if you have something like Grunts, Headhunters, Shamans Vs Hunts Sorcs or something. Extremes are not what you want though. It better to build a good base with T1 and accomplishments with T2 and strong lategame units like MGs and Wyrms T3. It obviously depends a lot on your draft and what the enemy has but it's always important to go for the best round, which experience helps with.
I don't think it will ever work considering that every units have a hard counter. The closest we have would probably be mass destroyers, but even that still have a lot of its counters
Watching some of the pro level games, there are situations where you want to stay in tier 1 for a long time, or rush tier 3 while your teammates try to cover you. But even those are not extreme to the point of only doing it. You still need the support of tier 2 units, and every single tier 1 unit are eventually obsolete
Heroes should stop and wait if they are in front their army and start walking again when another unit takes the lead. Probably bad idea. I dont even own a computer since 8 years lol
To rein back the area where the units fight. You don't want to fight under their fortress but you still want to fight on their side so you get the gold bonus
Other person isn't wrong, but often it's employed by one participant attempting to stack with a forward positioned army coming directly after, such that the heroes can both be present at once when posing a threat under fortress.
What if starting MMR number be set to 0 instead of any arbitrary number like lets say 1000? and of course floor number of MMR would be 0 as well. Also winning a game in such low MMR range would also give high amount of MMR point so anyone who are actually good at the game would climb the rank faster before eventually slowing down. That way newcomer that aren't good enough at the game doesn't have to lose their first couple of games.
So if you lose 3 games you are still at 0, creating a system that has a floor and but other people values depend on yours, but you can be 0mmr 0games, 0mmr 5games. Does that change how others MMR change? If the 5 game person's wins, does he get less? If so it's the exact same as now you just made it 0 for the UI back it's the same thing. Another part is it's not as interesting to see no number or a climb that starts you being punched back to 0 if you winlosewinlose or win sometimes between loses. It's really engaging, and while you don't need phone games like systems that rank you up with just time played there kind of needs to be sense of progress. Also how can system know if bnet ds gamer and me, 0 games that get 3 games in a row same team and we get carried, scale us up much faster since the floor is so low, like you said need to bump good players up. There Are bound to be false positives, but starting at 0 that rubber bands losses makes so you get guardian/gold levels in plat games.
They don't stack at all. Grubby has been wrong about them stacking for a while and I'm not really sure why he hasn't bothered to verify it (it's trivial to make a custom map and test. Just throw 6 talismans of evasion on a DH with level 2 evasion and compare to one with just level 2 evasion and no items)
Orb enables him to not go ahead alone into fort, instead he stays with the army and kills off the rest of enemy's air. Plus, he aggroes and tanks enemy air at the begging of the collision - it's good, because he is the tankiest. He is the tankiest in the meaning that it is better to take damage on him and heal it, because he takes less damage for the same amount of enemy's efforts. Like in any MMO-RPG with the "holy trinity" of tank-dps-healer
@@parodybrothers the fire orb is the cheapest. And it applies 90% healing reduction- pretty strong, considering attecked chimera/wyrm is getting healed most times
80% of DS players are grubby viewers, doesn't matter what he renames himself to, or if he blacks out the screen while queueing. The game will contain grublings no matter what
I think you misunderstood what he meant by arbitrary. A 1600 or 3000 MMR is arbitrary. It is a meaningless number by itself. If you took everyone’s MMR and reduced it by 200, nothing would happen. It’s a nominal (arbitrary) value. It is only useful in making comparisons between players.

around the 2:30 mark you're deciding between a grunt and mine it looks like. Wouldnt it have been okay to go grunt immediately sell on wave for 75% and buy the mine as fast as possible? That way you get a stronger wave while still getting your mine a lil later than you would have but still faster then the 4th grunt. Winning that wave and getting the best of both worlds kind of thing.
Heroes tank flying unit attacks (pierce, magic) better than all other armor types except for fortified. So outside of siege tanks, having a hero tank flying units is THE most efficient way to reduce their damage. Meanwhile, normal attack type does 100% damage to heroes. It's much less efficient for a hero to tank normal attacks

Since, W3 was patched, my level in DS resets to level 1 after every single match, does someone know how to fix that?

No matter how many videos I watch I just do not understand this game mode. So you don't control any units directly in combat? Not even heroes?
It's not that complicated. AI is controlling the spells. But you can turn them on and off and thus control the timing somewhat
