Indian clubs and heavy clubs are two separate training tools, and are vastly different in when training them. Indian clubs are a solid option for those with arthritis because they should be no more than 1-2LBs (this is why they’re made of wood). The basis of Indian club training is range of motion, dexterity, and progressive speed. Heavy clubs (typically range from 10-15LB for beginners) are NOT a great option with for those with arthritis because it’s based on grip strength with controlled push/pull and swing patterns.
Fantastic video ! Please, let me know where I can purchase wooden indian clubbells. Thanks!
Etsy.com is honestly the best place for wooden Indian clubs because they should be made by hand. It’s where I got mine in this video.
Hallo Coach Vaughn
Dankeschön für Deine Videos!

I have arthritis at the base of my right thumb at the wrist. I’d still like to learn these and then the heavy club. Am I asking for trouble?

Can this work as a good warmup for a beginner before workout with steel clubs?
