Hi you can get to the clutch mechanism from the engine bay it’s the links in there that make a squeak. The cover is located between the brake system and the coolant expansion tank,

Ahh, some work gloves a big screwdriver for levering and a bit of paracord for pulling and you will have that spring on in 5 minutes flat. Grease that clutch pedal from above in the engine bay.. dead easy. :)
