Have you ever tried one of the old 2ct euro coin as a pick?
It has a different serration than the sixpence
2 euro cent has no serration...it's a totally different coin than a Sixpence.
It's not good at all.

Marco, excellent video! Does the Super setting on the Special sound exactly like the stand alone Super?
95% is there.
I have a fairly good amp, a VTX100, which serves me well enough. However, the AC30 model on there is so muffled and it has such low gain... Going to take a while before I can get the real thing! It's a nice cheap alternative for now. Found other settings that are good.
Very interesting pedal! Great review as always. Do you think this will be your primary treble booster now as it has so much variety? Or will you still use your other ones as much?
Well, my main TB at the moment is the Super Marco model...which is just a little different from a standard Super, so different from the Range 3.
But surely I'll bring this pedal when rehearsing and gigging.
Ciao Marco, gran video come sempre. Due domande: sul Pathfinder sei sempre con alti e bassi a zero, gain a tre quarti e boost? Hai provato il pedale anche col MayDay? Io sto usando l’accoppiata per registrare da pc, ma su ampli fisico non ho praticamente fatto ancora prove
Sul Pathfinder stavo con Boost, Gain a poco più di 3/4, alti a poco meno di 1/4, bassi a zero.
Col Mayday va alla grande ovviamente, alla fine parliamo comunque di un TB...un ottimo TB, e il Mayday necessita di un TB.

Ciao, ho visto che questi pedalini costano una cifra ma volevo chiederti ma se al posto del treble booster ci mettiamo un compresso tarato con livello al massimo e drive al minimo otteniamo lo stesso effetto?

Listening to this video with good headphones, I have the feeling I'm hearing a tiny bit more crisp/sharpness in the Super TB than in the Special.
Playing both in the same room, do you hear such a difference, or are they both sounding the same?
It may comes from your volume knob setting, though, as it sn't exactly at the same level during both demo.
There's a really little difference. I'm happy you have heard it...it means the comparison works good!
Yes, it works good. So good that it convinced me to go for the Super. Ordered! :D

Super is a different TB...it's another model.

In ogni caso, in materia di Treble Booster con i Fryer vai sul sicuro.
Purtroppo non tutti i Treble Booster sono adatti a suonare Brian May.
@@MarcoGDiMarco Do you think (sorry i have to switch languages, because my Napoli Time is a bit ago) - the Fryer Special sounds equaliy good as the Fryer Super? Somebody is offering an older grey version of the Special. Do you think it is worth it?
@@cram7 On the "Super preset" the Special sounds 90% like the real Super.
But with the Special you can reach so many different great sounds too.

Volevo chiederti che pedale consiglieresti a chi cerca di eguagliare il sustain della distorsione di Brian May, senza avere una RS e con un amplificatore Fender? Un treble booster? un distorsore? un MayDay?

Il Treble Booster è una componente fondamentale ai fini del sustain e per ottenere i suoni puliti semplicemente abbassando il volume della chitarra.
Quindi sì, prenderei un Treble Booster è setterei l'ampli su un crunch gonfio e carico sulle basse.

Wooowww! Sinceramente el Booster es lo que me voy a comprar. Tengo un Vox de 15 watts que emula el sonido del a AC 30 creo que va a ser algo interesante de provar a ver ¿como sonará?

@@robertoramosmanrique7341 all middle pickups are weak. Well any single.
@@robertoramosmanrique7341 Check the PUs heights. They should have more or less the same volume.
Press high and low E at 24 fret.
For BMG type PUs you should have (as a starting point) 2.5 from under the string to each PU on bass side and 2.0mm under the string to each PU on treble side.
