The first time I plugged into a Fulltone effect I IMMEDIATELY realized how much sound I was missing and how dead quiet the effect pedal was. Sad to hear of what happened. Sounds great! I ordered an OC 75. So many great guitar sounds were created w/ Treble Boosters, from Rory, Blackmore, Iommi, May, etc. Also work well boosting a distorting amp or boosting an overdrive, like an OCD.
Nice pedal! Also nice to see mr Fuller. I’ve had a full drive since the 90s and still use it, as well as other Fulltone pedals, but never saw Michael before. Thanks for the quality products!!

Superb stuff Mr F, really fantastic. Hope this one really does well for you!
I scored the OC75 pedal, and I must say, it's absolutely amazing. I have a 1984 Marshall lead series 2003 amp, and I never liked adding a distortion pedal to the amp. I'd always used a boss 10 band EQ pedal to give me a bit of extra distortion I felt the amp needed for that classic NWOBHM tone. That boss EQ pedal is now taken out of my signal chain, because the OC75 pedal gives me an insane amount of distortion without turning my tone into mud. I highly recommend 👌 🤙🤘🤘🤘
Got mine a few days ago put it on the board for band practice yesterday and it Delivered... amazing pedal .. I did get the 075 version ... got a killer new lead tone now .... I mix this with a Hudson broadcast and a EQD Westwood and I got glorious boost gain staging .. also using a tele, gretsch and all this run through a Vox AC30
The master of boutique tone. Can't wait to get my OC-75. Good demo covering guitar volume down. The other demo I've seen of this was too "only cranked". The ability to use a regular power supply with this is a game changer. Rock on, Mike! Low mids does sound killer.
The whole "play the amp", adjusting the guitar's volume-knobs and my finger-style/pick-less "touch" is where I live, no matter the style, clean mean scream or beam-me-up-Scotty; I think that one of these Fulltone Rangers lies in my path...
Me too buddy Tone and volume controls It seems to be a dying technique now that there are so many pedal options But people need to realize that a good fuzz or drive pedal react and love for that to be done So many tones in there at every notch Thanks for bringing that up
Sounds very musical and harmonically rich, just like Fulltone's other gain units. I own an OCD V2 and it's the second and last overdrive/distortion pedal I'll ever buy! (After I got rid of my first one, a boss bd2) I bet this rangemaster style boost will sound beautiful stacked into the OCD. Cheers Mr Fuller !
Finally took my Ranger out of the box ( I couldn't stop playing with my Fulldrive 2 ). It totally kicks ass. Pisses all over my Catalinbread Naga Viper. All the boost and amp saturation without the excess noise of the Viper. Sweet.
Thanks Michael, Just picked one up through your online shop, works great through my 5150 MKIII 50 watt, on the blue channel (which is a somewhat aggressive drive already), I set the level at about 9:30 and the Mid and/or RM1, for a little extra boost. It really kicks it up a bit. Love it thanks. P.S. on the green (clean) channel, I used it coupled with the OCD Ge, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the can work together.
The tone really sounds great, I have almost the same setup. At first I was using the RM-1 as kind of a traditionalist. But I agree now that the LO-MIDS setting sounds great.

Really useful video Mike! Thanks for spelling out the frequency cutoffs for the hi-pass filter settings (1KHz for Mid, 2KHz for RM-1, 2.5 KHz for RM-2, 3kHz for Highest). I don't think you mentioned what the specific cutoff was for the "Lo Mids" setting. Anybody happen to know this number?
Congratulations on another great made pedal. I have spent over $3,000 with you over the years and it sounds like I need to get this pedal too. You drank it, said “ok let’s roll” And I rolled tape. First take of “Cold as Cold can be” was in the can within 10 minutes. I was elated! I asked you how you can do that.
