And the suspiro, the manjar and the «merengue» you need eat it together and its not flan, similar maybe but not the same... and arroz con leche and alfajores are from «moros»
Yes, I love Rincon Chami. As you pointed out they have been there forever. When I came back to Peru after 25 years it seems that even the waiters were the same. The rest of Peruvian typical dishes are as good as their dessert. This place is highly recommended.
Adolfo Briceno That’s amazing that they have had such loyal customers and loyal employees. Yes, their other dishes were also great. We made sure to stop by there again before we flew back to New York. We had the Lomo Saltado and Aji de Gallena. Very delicious!
The best description of Rincon Chami's food is: “what Peruvians ate and eat at their houses before all this culinary revolution started about 10 years ago”. It is what your mom would cook for lunch or dinner. After 25 years, the food is the same and the waiters too. Did you try Restaurante Cebicheria Punta Sal???? They have 6 location in Lima. You have to try that place before coming back to NY. Their cebiches and seafood dishes are to die for.
Adolfo Briceno That’s exactly why we made sure to go there. We are all for the culinary revolution happening in Lima, but we wanted authentic Peruvian food that we know we won’t be able to get in New York City. It was definitely one of the best decisions we made while in Lima!
Did you try the sandwiches from La Lucha???? Another awesome place for sandwiches and juices from regular and exotic fruits not far from Rincon Chami. Enjoy Peru
Yeah. We noticed most of the restaurants in Miraflores tend to have these prices. They are probably capitalizing on the fact that most tourists won't think this is expensive (compared to prices back in their home countries.) That's the one bad thing about tourism. It makes certain things inaccessible to the locals :(
The Peruvian Food is Delicious is the Best in the World..😍
I love the Peruvian food!! It’s the best in the world ! 🤤🤤🤤🤤
I LOVE PERUVIAN FOOD SO MUCH !!!!!
Definitely one of our favorites!
You need to eat the arroz con leche WITH the mazamorra morada, otherwise you're missing out on a truly great flavor combination!
Jazmine Diaz Ooohhh that does sound like a great combo! We’ll have to try that! 👍🏽
Yes, of course AKA "combinado", hahaha. Both have to be eaten together definetly!!
