Hey Kevin, assuming the multislotting question hasnt been answered, multislotting is where you solve an f2l pair so that it sets up another f2l pair during solving the previous.
@@korni1469 pseudoslotting is when you solve a corner-edge pair except the corner and the edge don't go into the same slot and the cross is misaligned. That's called a pseudo-pair Multislotting is when you solve 2 (or more) F2L pairs at the same time
Kevin: "Why I won't 'fix' my fingertricks" Also Kevin: "Getting speedcubers to critique my solves and point out stuff like my fingertricks" Makes best sense 👀
Even though you’re not improving you’re still pretty good for being sub-10 Also, I’m loving the longer videos! Edit: J Perm has a really good video on multi-slotting
i have something that will maybe help you. You should try and experiment with all algorithms youve learned and try to minimize regrips like 0 to 2 regrips per algorithm and try planning your finger placment each solve so that you can place your finger in a much comfortable way that will minimize regrips
I'm new to these cubing channels... this guy speaks really fast 😅 Love the videos 😀 Also what's that app he uses to record the time? Any good recommendations for apps like that? 😁

Wait i know what multislotting is its like you do an edge keyhole and a corner keyhole at the same time by lining them up and inserting the 2 pieces like a regular f2l pair and rotating it back when ur done
How do you not know what multisloting is? Multisloting is so usefull, please look up videos on it, it helps take a 11 second solve and makes it 9 that is how good it is.
Do you have any tips on how to remember algorithms? I started cubing 4 days ago and i can remember all of the advanced f2l algorithms and almost all of the oll algorithms but can hardly ever remember the really long pll algorithms
not a cube expert here but I can see that we have similar hobby which is to race with the timer, i guess it’s the pressure and it makes the solve a lot longer. try to solve without thinking about the seconds that goes by, make your solve a little slower and smoother. Might drop you average to 6 or 5 sec.
hey- you're absolutely correct that you're not a cube expert. if getting 5-6 second solves was as easy as just not thinking about the timer, we all would be doing it. I can guarantee you that people averaging 9-10 seconds are not thinking about the clock when they solve... there's simply no time for that improving past the 9-10 second mark takes a lot - for reference, Feliks Zemdegs, widely regarded as one of the best cubers in the world, has a competition record average of 5.5 seconds if a world class solver was already averaging 10 seconds in 2009 and can only average 5 seconds in 2019, do you really think you can do it by just not thinking about the timer?
