I upgraded from a 400ex to a yfz 450. I rode it once and it kicked my ass. I have not rode it since. I have hit the gym to get back into shape. that power band is crazy.
They are both pretty incredible and both have plenty of aftermarket parts available. Personally though I prefer the handling of the YFZ but it's pretty minor.....
@ATVTVCOM ok,, im not talking about the "next gen" im saying between this and the 05 raptor 660 which is better, (jumping, farm riding, mudding, just rippen around) not comparing this to any other quad just the yzf450 or the raptor 660
@ham1908t The Yfz450 is far superior in handling. Power wise both are good stock for stock but the Yfz450 has much more potential. Also the 660 reliability was pretty poor. I love my 2004 yfz450 it's really fast.
@ham1908t It all depends on what you like. I love big 4-strokes, but this isn't nearly as good as the 700. Plus, this YFZ is not nearly as good as the next gen either.

did you do the yfz and the trx on the same day? you can see the trx in the background at 0:42
i have that started button set up on a 99 yamaha , where else would they; put the starter button .

First day day i had my yfz i learned that they dont mix good with trails......or trees....ha had to get new a arms on left side
