As a truck driver / delivery driver, y'all don't know what those workers go through on the daily, they encounter everything almost. People up to no good in the neighborhoods, dogs, racism etc. yet they still show up and get the job done. There are some posts offices that still pay $15 an hour in rural areas. I don't know about y'all but I know this country has a lot of rural areas. What happened in Chicago to that postal worker who was murdered, happens so much unfortunately. People are up to no good everyday, a lot of y'all see these people because they steal people's packages. Also the conditions at some of these post offices are unheard of, no air conditioner
As a Houston mail carrier, the USPS changed my life completely. I moved 12 years ago from Dallas, got hired and got alot of things I’ve always desired in life. Granted you won’t likely become a millionaire but it’s given me a good life
401k? No... Tsp...is for Us. Matching is up to 5% of our contribution. This isnt about men vs women either.. What she is saying is correct. . The Carriers are DYING in the heat from the vehicles...
Y’all are too soft. The carriers were doing the same thing back in the 50s and on up when there was no Airconditioning in vehicles. Y’all are just to damn soft today.
Really ?? Soft ?? Who wants to work in that hot as van burning up like an oven for 18/20$ hours ?? people like you are the reason we have OSHA regulations.
Taxpayer dollars DO NOT fund postal workers. The sales of postage stamps is what funds the postal service and no one is buying stamps. That's the main reason they are operating at a deficit; the employees get paid regardless of how many stamps they don't sell. And when you're an organization of 650k strong with over a hundred thousands of vehicles in your fleet... thats a tough budget to manage.
Not entirely true. I'm a postal employee of 20 years. The post office is not suppose to receive tax dollars but as of 2020 the postal reform act was passed to give the post office billions of dollars in relief. Its basically a bail out. In return the employees must join all other federal employee health plans which postal employees will find out this year it will be more expensive.
@@MailHandlerInThe505- That's NOT the same. The tax dollars from the average American citizen does not pay the check for the people at the post office. The only reason why the Postal Service needed any assistance was because they were being forced to pre-fund their retirement packages decades and decades and decades into the future. That is not a bailout. They are simply giving them their own money back. President Bush and Congress at that time severely handicapped the Postal Service. They have been paying for it ever since. This is the fact that President Trump himself didn't understand and has contributed to the fall of the Postal Service unintentionally.
@@MailHandlerInThe505 that was basically covid relief money that many businesses and citizens received but also included relief from prefunding retirement accounts. And a "bailout" in 2020 in no means accounts for the decline of stamp sales over the last 2 decades that contributed to the deficit but funded postal operations for over 50 years.
Here's the deal on the postal deficit. We are self-funded thru stamp and service revenue. Due to a Bush era rule, our retirement plan had to be pre-funded 75 years in advance (to fund the govt slush fund) During government shutdowns, they would "borrow" from the funds interest free to keep essential services solvent. Since the pra of 2020, our deficits have been mostly caused by fleet replacement costs (did you know postal tractors now have automatic transmissions?) and the added costs by this administration forcing a higher percentage of the nearly 100k vehicles used daily by letter carriers being replaced as we speak be ev's. And let's not even start with the top heavy management....
@@liltrill8976 You are right stamps just went up to 73 cents but it's still not enough. The world average is 1.81. Italy charges 4.48 and we're way bigger than them.
We all do.....if they stop charging us up the ass for stamps lol...and how they work hard my cuz just drive up to mail box drop mail he don't even get out of truck lol....he told me once if a car is blocking theail box i dont havr to get out or deliver there mail lol....lazy..
Wow 😮I’m a postal worker (a carrier) and this was hard to watch. Thankfully our postal family is speaking up in the comments. 1 Google search can’t inform you fully to judge so harshly. What we do & have been doing is very important & very necessary. But don’t ask me ask the millions of people who use our services on a daily basis & depend on us to provide this vital service nationwide 🙌🏽!!!! On a side a note… I normally enjoy your content 🤷🏽♀️
The only reason the of post office is still atound is because certain documents are required to be mailed through USPS. If I had a choice my mail or packages would never be sent through them.
I’m a former carrier for 6 years and what mail carriers has to do they don’t get paid enough , rain , hail , sleet or snow the mail must go. You have good , decent or horrible ass routes and not only you carry mail you carry packages! Not small packages then to top it off it’s election year so the 3rd bundles I know has been hell ! So bottom line postal carries not making enough especially the way the economy is going man please that job wear n tear on your body , supervisors try n talk to you crazy and they try to rush you. God forbid if your a cca and you think your going home after your route , nope Mr. Smith on route 20 needs a hour taking off 🥵 👀 so if you’ve never carried mail STFU it’s definitely not for the weak at heart
People who never worked for post office always have so much to say but my thing is for us to be government workers we should be well taken care not slutted out like a 3 dollar hoe on the corner
You must be a woman complaining like that. Wear and tear on your body, you should be home living a soft life but I guess because you didn’t secure a good enough man you have to go and work like a man. Those physical jobs are for men, not women. It’s like a workout for us, no problem 💪💪
I work at the post office, and we are the only part of the government that is not funded by taxpayer money . Every dollar comes from the sale of the products that we have
TSA employees don’t get support as well. When a government shutdown hit they still have to go to work but don’t get paid and they hope and pray they get back pay
That's not the same thing. Every business has been "bailed out" by government money, that doesn't make it tax funded. USPS hasn't been tax funded since 1970.
Postal Worker here. She's not lying. There are several postal workers with 2 and three jobs. So those nice cars you see in the employee lot are not from the Postal Service alone. If you're a carrier or a mail handler you may be able to get overtime, but that's it. You can't live on OT because you may not always be able to get it and its truly exhausting. Also the benefits are average at best. Nothing exciting at the PO. DO NOT BE FOOLED! & 401K for the PO is TSP (thrift savings plan) for gov't workers. The only ones doing ok at the PO are those that have been there for over 15-20 years.
@@litedawg i always see black people driving those like it is a ford or chevy. if you dont have enough to pay for the repairs then dont buy the vehicle. you have to baby british cars. where is the car originally from? do they have a past history of making reliable trouble free cars? if a part breaks and the car is not american, where is the company based? that is where the part might have to come from.
I’m a mail carrier and I approve of everything she said. If you haven’t done this job then you should just stay quiet because you have no idea what you’re talking about. We are overwhelmed and overworked.
This is the typical video of someone that got blessed to be put in a better position than others so now he think he got all the answers😂 you not even speaking facts about the post office, be humble my guy
But, over 200 Billion has been given to Ukraine and Israel over the last three years to support them, and their wars, but not our own 'Federal' Employees that serve American people daily?
We're self-funding. The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
@@scott3697 Which is the problem. Postal workers are FEDERAL AGENTS, so why aren't they? Do you see what the problem is with our government and what it's become?
@@chrisgreen177- YES. So back in the early 2000s, Congress passed some stupid rule that made the post office pre-fund their retirement package. This was like 70 something years plus into the future and it broke them. Post office has been literally trying to recover ever since.
🤦🏽♂️someone needs to do so their homework. Taxes never paid postal salaries. Sure the postal service get tax breaks, borrow funds from the government at lower rates, and governed under special laws(but that is many big businesses in America) If it was understood how much money was actually in the coffins prior to losses over the pass 5 to 10 years. FYI the postal service was forced to be pre fund a portion of the business by 75 years.👌🏽 All facts. Test my knowledge please.
Do taxpayers pay for the USPS? No, the Postal Service is generally self-funded. This means that no tax dollars are used to keep the lights on at its many facilities across the country. The Postal Service, instead, relies on the revenue it generates from the sale of stamps, products, and services to fund its operations.
The post office has never been broke. All profits of the postal service are taken and used for federal spending. The deficits that are reported are based on inflated projections established by the main offices.
@fullcircleessentials those things will go up because the price of the stamp determines how all shipping companies charge for freight. Understand that UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc all ship each other's mail one way or another.
@@mrthik1 Yes I get all that....the freight companies use USPS. Also, keep in mind people are on a fixed income (low income and seniors/the elderly). Th Speaking of UPS lets not forget what happen with that company. Billions of venue and no pay raises, no ac/c in smaller trucks for years and the higher ups pocketing the money - allegedly. It took a strike on the horizon along with the union getting involved. It comes down to greed and money amd USPS is no different. The higher higher ups get paid for sitting on their asses while the busy bees deep in the warehouse of USPS get lower wages. Theres no benefit getting in right now because u are literally in most cases starting at the bottom unless u know someonem. Its not like it used to be. Back in the days USPS was the place and people knew if u worked there it was good thing. Not anymore! For those who have served 20yrs plus and near retirement or death thats great. USPS has changed! Oh last thing....lets not forget automation. Theres a few machines rolling around like R2-D2 or C3PO which cost money. Money, money continuing to go out for b s. and not the worker. So keep raises the stamps but let it go toward something or give back. Like better service which is trash at POST OFFICE. Yeah I said it and make sure the packagss are on time and vet employees. It makes no sense to not do a thorough back ground check and my mail is lost, stolen or mail opened up (criminals/thieves). Yeah keep ripping the people off USPS.
Too bad economics and investing not taught in cartel mediated public school, or blue collar. I guess the latter is for illegal immigrated migrants and felons not successful brothers trying to make a better living.
Sir, actually you're incorrect, the Post office had always been operating in the black until 2006. It's was never tax payer funded. It operated in the black selling products and services. Please do your research before stating half trues and incorrect info The Post office was the only Federal agency forced to prefund it's retirees healthcare insurance years in advance, also the decline of first class mail due to the internet was it's down fall. When the young lady was referring to matching she meant we have a matching TSP which is a gov 401k. Postal employees also have a pension after being vested. It is true that newer employees are under a lower pay scale but it's competitive. Most people don't live on a budget so it doesn't matter how much you make, you'll still live check to check. I started working for the postal service in 2008 as and still a custodian making about $40,000 a yr. My base pay in 2024 is about $75,000 shift diff, Sunday premium but I make over $100,000 because I work overtime. My net worth is over one million because I live on a written budget an max out my TSP every year including catch up contributions in an S&P 500 index fund in my TSP. It's not what u make but what u do with it. 22:16 22:16
Former postal worker- What I've noticed is back in the day a lot of workers relied on OT which in a lot of places was available in abundance. These days a lot of places have curtailed/ cut out OT. Also the po is top heavy with management- people who make six figures (or close to it) and never touch mail. Question: How does an entity that loses billions of dollars have funds to acquire new vehicles (which are needed) and technology? Majority of workers belong to unions so the po will be around as those unions funnel $ to politicians. Think about it - when stamps and services were much cheaper the po was way more efficient. Letter mail & junk mail was more prominent(and profitable) then than now. At this point it seems the po is a dinosaur on life support. All The Best!
USPS received a $60 billion dollar 💵 bailout. On top of a $75 billion 💵 bailout of the $5 Billion dollar a year pre funding of the pension fund since the 2006 law was passed. Basically, the government repealed this law.
I worked for USPS as a mail carrier, and walked away earlier this year. The union wouldn’t even recognize me as a veteran even after I provided proof to the Union President. Union dues were wayy too much, and I take home more money now on a three day work week with a different company. (Also your tax dollars don’t cover the check of a postal worker..That’s false information.)
I don't go much to the USPS but I went to my local one 1 year ago and the feel and environment inside is like 1940's. They have fans spinning and no A/C
No. Mail carriers have it bad. And like previously stated it used to not be like that but has gotten worse over the years.the postal workers are now understaffed and over worked on their routes sometimes having to work OT on the regular sometimes double time. I have a friend his daughter was fighting so much just to leave. She hated it. I wouldn’t do tht job even now. Nope
Not all companies offer perks like tuition reimbursement because they can't even afford it anymore. Some people don't have the luxury to choose what field they want to work in. They're surviving and barely making it. I hope those that are struggling are able to find one thing everyday that makes them smile because it's hard out here for people.
Because you put the time in and maxed out on the pay scale furthermore the economy was better back then plus the contracts have changed and us newcomers won’t receive the same benefits and pay as the 30 year employees got. You’re a boomer who’s out of touch with a million in your TSP etc

It’s not decent money for the working conditions and the wear and tear on the body and mind. Even the skin, eyes and nasal passages are wrecked!!!! It’s a dangerous disgrace.
lol they aren’t paying their entire workforce that it’s only certain careers and they don’t have the driver base the post office does. The post office has double the amount of workers that ups has
Quite simply, women are often "broke" because things that most men consider to be luxuries, women consider to be non-negotiable necessities. Such as: - Living without roommates, in a trendy, upscale area - Regularly going to the salon for hair and nails - Starbucks or its equivalent every day, sometimes multiple times daily - Regular dining out - Regular meal-delivery app usage - Need newest iPhone - Need to buy a German luxury car above their pay scale - New clothes regularly (as a comparison, I have maybe three pairs of jeans and two business suits for work I've owned for years and they all still look new because I take care of them; the only clothing items I need to replace semi regularly are running shoes, socks, and underwear, and even these, maybe a couple times a year) - expensive vacations they put on the credit card - buying ready-made meals and other pricey items at Whole Foods and its equivalent On and on and on. A man can earn 60k a year and feel like he's upper middle class by his own standards, and have enough left every month to save some. A woman will feel that 60k is poor people money, spend every penny and go into debt every month on the same salary.
@@StevenTorres.NYC-CA sounds like you need to bid out to another station Steven, instead of calling cap cause your post master is too broke and cheap to share the wealth with his workers 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The post office is not N O T suppose to make money, it suppose to break even at best, it’s a service for the nation!!! And we was profitable and had to find something to do with the profit, so they decided to “prefund” retirements which is a great idea on paper but the internet happened and we’ve been struggling ever since
I was a CCA for 6 months, then. Regular for 4 years. I was a supervisor for a yr. I hated everything about that job, and the money wasn’t that great. 47k/yr. Not I do half the work and make more than double. The TSP matching and pension are the only attractive things.
This is completely inaccurate… I’ve worked for the post office for three years and we are definitely not at any type of deficit… Also, we are not funded by taxpayers…We are our own entity. furthermore, the only way you’re broke working in Post Office is if you mismanaging your funds because I get paid Hella good and money problems isn’t one of my problems. Yes you work a lot but it is worth it in the end because once you become a regular or career employee, you can never get laid off even in a pandemic or Great Depression Gotta Thank the unions for that. Also if she’s only bringing home that amount per paycheck she’s definitely not working all of her hours because I’m working 50 to 55 hours a week. and making as much as a emergency room, nurse or pharmacist.
You call $19.33 an hour for a CCA hella good? I know hamburger flippers making that. They aren’t dying on their route in Texas or mauled to death by a dog in any state USA, or shot to death in New York. Don’t forget the carriers who have a gun put to their head for their arrow keys and praying to God the trigger isn’t pulled. I retired from the post office. It is not the good paying safe job with a good pension job it used to be.
Benefits are good, but pay is lower than similar private sector. Better job protection though. Toxic work environment. TSP gives 5% matching. Very hard to get fired.
Post office does not get paid off of tax payer money … look it up … she right … we need more money due to what’s asked but we are about to get a new contract … a lot of people live off what they make off overtime … that’s most people problem …. If you having money issues as a carrier all you need to do is get on the over time list lol I paid off over 9k in credit card debt since October … just got off the list for the summer and live under my means … rent , car note and all …. Some people don’t account poor financial behavior … kick them feelings to the curb .
I work at the post office. Literally, 85% of the workers call out, at least, once per week or more. That's one reason that explains why a lot of postal workers are broke.
Anton, tell us what entity, governmentally necessary as the Postal Service, makes a profit? I’ll wait. You are a good vibe person, slowly turning into a Ben Carson. We used to like him too. “Thank You!” for sharing ❤️🖤💚
I work at the post office and I saved up 10k in a year while paying rent with all utilities and a car note with insurance. An i can tell you most be living above there means and dont know how to budget or save a dollar to save there lives.
Yeah she sounds like she's a carrier or a window clerk. In USPS, the money is at the Processing and Distribution Centers (P&DCs). Specifically, transportation (truck drivers), mail handlers (those who unloads the semi trucks) and maintenance (custodians, technicians, mechanics, and support clerks). When my pops transferred from the Department of Defense to USPS, he started as a mail carrier. Wasn't making any money. Once he got at the P&DC and got into maintenance, he made nice money. When my mom transferred from the DoD to USPS, she went straight into maintenance at the P&DC, and was making hella bank. You gotta know how and where to move in the USPS to make a bag.
I’m a supervisor for the post office. When I started delivering mail I noticed a lot of “luxury” type vehicles in the employee parking lot. 95% of the overtime is done by men. Some make over 100k. Most of the women complain and most them have really high car notes/lifestyles here in California. The married women are chill, they don’t complain. Like Anton said , it’s a spending problem I’m paying more than twice her rent here in California. I’m not complaining, I’m moving up in management
Postal work used to be a solidly middle class job. However, with inflation, I think she’s saying that they-like so many other workers-just aren’t able to maintain on their salaries.
Old antiquated equipment and managerial harassment is more of an issue with the post office. They micro manage the shit out of carriers regardless of whether it is a city route or a rural route. Retention is harder because there are other jobs with better starting salary and more paid time off.
Matching is the TSP that match up to 5%. I’m a retired Postal worker after 30 years. I’m also am a Disabled Veteran. My retirement is quite well and my home and cars are paid for. Many people live beyond there means. I’m 59 and NEVER COMPLAINED. Maybe I was raised and taught different. Never been afraid of hard work. I am HAPPILY RETIRED living in Philly😊😊😊. If you never worked for the USPS you don’t understand.
There was a time the PO had its own planes and trucks still. Most of the parcel is outsourced through FedEx, and has operated at a deficit for some time
I am reinvesting in my health and resting more by not hustling. Doctor bills are high so all that money people hustling to make and killing themself for goes right back to the doctor....so pick a battle
The police department don’t make a profit, the fire department doesn’t make a profit. You can’t compare USPS to other delivery companies because we are required to deliver to every address in the whole country without surcharges the other companies will charge. Also we deliver to the military service members ALL over the world giving them domestic rates. We are required by federal law to provide services that are not profitable.
I tell carriers to come to transportation, I’m a TTO (Tractor Trailer Operator) outta Philadelphia, & I’m also a shop steward, our contract expires 9/20/24 and we’re currently in negations to get a new contract.
Probably like 80 hours yea skip all that become a robot tech making 45$ an hour only working 40 hours with overtime being optional and you legit get paid sitting on your ass all day
There's a 2 tier payscale now for City Carriers depending on whether or not you started before 2013. 13.5 years to hit top pay. Top pay is fine tho especially with OT
In my office, 90% of the men are doing overtime and blowing their money and the women complain about not wanting to work. We have several mail carriers that make 100k plus. Most new hire is at their building stage in life and make about 50k starting

You're wrong dude. The post office doesn't run off taxes. Stop the cap. Postal employees make about 20% less than other government agencies. How much did the military make last year? Or did it cost the taxpayers 800 billion? USPS is a public service, not a private business. The carriers are currently almost 2 years without a general wage increase, while dealing with the highest inflation in decades. It's your opinion if you think people don't need more money, but i think the numbers could suggest otherwise

Postal workers work they butt off they do need a raise

The post office has never been broke. All profits of the postal service are taken and used for federal spending. The deficits that are reported are based on inflated projections established by the main offices.

- Regularly going to the salon for hair and nails
- Starbucks or its equivalent every day, sometimes multiple times daily
- Regular dining out
- Regular meal-delivery app usage
- Need newest iPhone
- Need to buy a German luxury car above their pay scale
- New clothes regularly (as a comparison, I have maybe three pairs of jeans and two business suits for work I've owned for years and they all still look new because I take care of them; the only clothing items I need to replace semi regularly are running shoes, socks, and underwear, and even these, maybe a couple times a year)
- expensive vacations they put on the credit card
- buying ready-made meals and other pricey items at Whole Foods and its equivalent
On and on and on.

There's a 2 tier payscale now for City Carriers depending on whether or not you started before 2013. 13.5 years to hit top pay. Top pay is fine tho especially with OT
I agree with her 💯
So basically she saying she broke and including others to justify her not budgeting correctly 🤔🤷
In my office, 90% of the men are doing overtime and blowing their money and the women complain about not wanting to work. We have several mail carriers that make 100k plus. Most new hire is at their building stage in life and make about 50k starting
Facts and don't about the guys still paying alimony too smh 🤦🏾♂️
As a veteran who went into the postal service after I retired.Anton your wrong.CCA’s especially are over worked and underpaid. And where I live we also delivered Amazon along with mail, parcels, and packages. You should have spoke to a postal worker before you critiqued this young lady.Props to her for speaking out.She spoke nothing but the truth.
Maaann Listen...🧐,As a Truck Driver/Owner Op,I myself & many I know are Struggling The Money is Not The Same as it was in 2016 to 2020 The Rates has Dropped on the Loads & it's over Saturated of Driver's & not enough Loads it's Crazy because we are paying double the price for Everything‼️🎯
She’s not wrong about everything. I’m a postal worker in San Diego. Rent is $2500 gas $5 $ utilities is $160 groceries etc. few co-workers are doing side hustle
Civil Service will match your Thrift Savings Plan (401k or Roth IRA) contributions up to 5% of your pay.
I was a Dept of Defense Civil Service nurse and worked 45-50 hours weekly for 40 hour pay because we are always short and patients still have healthcare needs.
We were 50% staffed for months during the COVID Delta surge and we worked 50+ hours weekly for no overtime pay.
Once you realize you aren't happy at a job, leave... Don't stay there an extra day, month, year if you know you aren't happy for whatever reason. You decide you work for the company, no company called you and ask you to apply or keeps you hostage.
Her car, phone, and food bills are crazy.
Heavy on Better Careers! My mom was at her job for 4 years before she realized they had tuition reimbursement. They paid her tuition for her to finish her bachelors and work towards her masters in BA at the state university. I constantly have to remind them that the end goal is probably worth more. My mom is doing the same job she could be doing for another company for much more, and she has received better offers. Personally, I go where the money goes. I’m 28 with multiple degrees and no travel restrictions, in the legal field, so when people ask me what I do I literally tell them I did what made sense and what benefited my long term goals. If I was In my mom’s position, I would do what made sense. As an adult, I do what makes me happy and still benefits my long term goals. I had to sacrifice a lot of youth to get here but it was worth it, especially to be in my position.
I appreciate you bringing up the life calculator. You a real one. You a truth seeker, teacher and an accountability holder. 😎
Depends on what state you are in. I’m a mail carrier and I’m making very good money in VA.
People say they make very good money but don't say how much. I make $60k in Las Vegas which I'm sure isn't considered very good money by a lot of people.
@@BREEZYM6015 well I didn’t finish listening when I left the first comment. But she did say that the older carriers are making the money because we have been there for a long time. I have been carrying mail over 25 years. I won’t say here how much I make but I will say, that I’m very happy with it. 😊
@@BREEZYM6015 I made 95k last year and I'm trying to hit 100k this year. I've been a regular since 2018. It's all about working overtime.
"very good money" is subjective, but "carry" on......
@@weedman4206 of course
I can contest to this I know not all are struggling, but my mom works for the post office she be dead broke fr
Tsp contributions, health insurance, union dues and taxes eat you alive.
First off this lady is gorgeous. No hate towards her at all. I worked for the USPS years ago. I hated it. It was awful. Not my thing. However, the USPS has a Union, so go complain to them. MOST of AMERICA is struggling right now. I’m not because I saw this coming when Biden got elected. When DEMOCRATS are in office WE STRUGGLE. I started planning ahead. If you vote KAMALA in, it will get WORSE!! 🤬
Post office does not get paid off of tax payer money … look it up … she right … we need more money due to what’s asked but we are about to get a new contract … a lot of people live off what they make off overtime … that’s most people problem
You remember when they were protesting?! Wow. Interesting.
McDonald’s isn’t a career. That’s a beginners job.
Her office must be in a good position if they have time for a side hustle.
Your right about getting into a better career and investing in yourself. 👏 so right about being beat down. Ok your ending it much better. Maybe we give him a pass for not knowing? Thank you to all the people who do understand and take care of us. The bottles of cold water and smiles mean more then you even know!
Here in Philadelphia the last 10 years women been taking over the postal workers jobs going door-to-door I work all over this city and I'm like are there any more guys working for the postal office are there some kind of agenda to keep them from doing this job I wonder if it's like this all over the state
She doesn’t need two bedrooms if she’s by herself. Get a $500 studio and save $540 per month.
HE IS IGNORANT
How can she only wash her clothes once a month?
That's nasty
she spends all day in a uniform that probably has to be dry cleaned. Just saying that her own personal clothes do not get the wear and tear others get. But you obviously have not been to a laundry matt lately. I susually do blankets and pet beds at the laundry. Folks beware, that's what a lot of folks do. I see people come in and use 20+ washers at once because they have saved up their laundry that long. At nearly $5 per load that's just crazy money to give a laundry matt.
Decent money! I worked for the Southfield Post office. I was low man on the senority list after 10 years. I was making $30 an hr back in 2011. What it is, these people don't know how to manage their money
Postal workers are paid based on years of service. Starting salary is about 20 dollars an hour. Workers with 10 or more years in service are paid close to 25 and 30 an hour. With paid overtime, you can make 70 thousand dollars a year.
Lmao. Fam I do Amazon flex and lyft. I can gross $100k a year. 70k is light
@@Dantee.15The government benefits are where it's at, my girlfriend Mom is postal worker and she's about to retire real good
@@erickn7985 what the government offering that postal isn’t offering? I’ll be honest as a gig worker I love pretty much everything about it but there’s no pension or anything like that
@@Dantee.15the postal office offer pension, lowest healthcare, 5% match in 401k, up to 5 weeks vacation days, also union representation. The benefits can be a huge factor and over compensate for the pay.
@@Dantee.15 well not everybody wants to drive around their car dropping people off and shit
Rent $1000: Find a roommate or move home.
Car $338: You could have found a decent used car for $5000. Drive your car into the ground and resist temptation.
Groceries $400-600: What? I can make $250 last a month. Skip fancy foods.
Phone $180: Again, you can buy an older phone with cash and lower payments.
Me:
Pay: $3,600 a month after taxes
Phone: $180 for three lines(is that too much?)
Mortgage: $1,550
HOA:$253
Food:$150-$200
Utilities:$300-$400
No car payment
My grocery be 600 month but I can afford and the reason why is because I eat a lot of organic foods and love to cook. The fact you said your grocery’s be 200$ a month which tells me you eat junk Walmart foods
There is literally no way in hell I could make $250 a month for all groceries and meals
5k cannot buy a decent reliable used car in 2024, stop the 🧢
@@litedawg yea if your eating dollars store food then it would be possible
They are making carriers deliver three routes instead of one because no one stays in the job. The job is torture and labor / industry should shut it down.
so you said you give out facts but decided not to research the fact the postal service hasn't been tax payer funded in over 50 years. We are self funded through services we offer. way to spread false info
