BMW X2 - DRIVERS CURTAIN AIRBAG REPLACEMENT

I’m rebuilding this accident damaged BMW x2 (2018 model) to do so there’s been many challenges along the way and airbag replacement has been one of them.
This is an overview on what I did to replace the fired drivers side (Right hand drive) curtain airbag with a brand new unit from BMW.
The vehicle battery should be completely disconnected for at least 10 minutes before attempting to touch any srs / airbag components. These are dangerous devices which may seriously harm and shouldn’t be handled by anyone who is not competent to do so.
