I definitely got that vibe when I was watching it. There were so many characters and storylines introduced that were either dropped suddenly or left unexplained. They should've just cut more stuff cause they tried to do way too much. Sidenote I also found it so weird that Jean went from "Otis giving out sex advice is dangerous and unethical" in s3 to having O - an unqualified 17yo - as a coworker in s4 and not questioning it.
@@user74027nh Well, Jean mostly had a problem with Otis taking _money_ from the students in exchange for sex advice. Not with the sex advice itself. "You don't invoice for a casual conversation." (season 2, episode 8) "I never want you to not pursue an interest in therapy. I just really want you to know the weight of the responsibility." (season 3, episode 8) is what Jean said to Otis :)
as much as I'm super duper happy that we're back to show content, I really do hope the other segments (imurgenz, etc) don't stop because they've been so informative and entertaining. love u rumi💋
I wish they had promoted Everything Now more. This is one of the few shows that feel like it's made by and for Gen Z. In fact, it was created by Ripley Parker who was 21/22 at the time of filming!
Season 2 of the summer i turned pretty, was… exactly what i thought season 1 was gonna feel like, if that makes sense? like i genuinely did enjoy the first season, i thought it was very balanced and well paced. but the second season 👀👀👀. she was a hot mess and not in an interesting way
Belly was so out of pocket in s2. Like the scene where she told Conrad to go to hell AT HIS MOTHER'S FUNERAL... I got so much secondhand embarrassment I just paused the show and paced around my room
There's a few things I didn't like but one thing is the love triangle like it needs to stop. Like I thought Belly wasn't doing too much in s1. S2 Belly was a whole different ball game. The only thing redeeming about this szn was Steven and Taylor-

im probably just speaking for myself, but i'm so tired of teen oriented content that i can't watch any more of it (for now anyway). like i'm technically still a teen myself (19) but i dont think i can revisit school settings and teen characters when i've spent so much of my life in school and dealt with a lot during that time, and when i've watched so many teen series on netflix, which i often enjoyed, but once you've seen a few you've seen most of the storylines, so it doesn't feel fresh anymore
I think that an amazing full-show review would be Avatar the Last Airbender, especially with the live action version being released in February. I don’t know ANYONE who doesn’t like this show and imo it’s one of the best shows ever made despite being a literal kids show 😂
YESSS! So many people overlook it because it's meant for kids, but it has such a mature take on its themes! I can write an essay on any of the characters on how well written they are and how well they fit and contribute to the story. Top tier show 💯

I really recommend the Mexican show The Most Beautiful Flower. It's very similar to XO Kitty except unfortunately without a season 2 renewal. It was great.

I love Castelvania. Drolta's fits were everything. They gotta bring her back somehow. I love Annette. BEEF was cool but the drama was too much for me to get over. GenV was okay but I feel like I'm missing the hype. House of Usher was a masterful piece of tv. Great writing. I love just about everything Mike F has done with Netlfix (sorry Midnight Club).

Sex Ed was not supposed to end after season 4. I think they had one or two more seasons left. The only reason they have had to cut it short was because so many of the main actors said they would not be returning if there was season 5 and I guess they didn’t want to replace half the cast (I don’t blame them bc when the cast get’s replaced, it always goes downhill) so they just decided to end it after season 4 so the legacy doesn’t get tarnished too much.
Beef was like everything to me. My show of the year for sure. The way it tackled rage was amazing from start to finish I both knew exactly where they were going and still didn't. Got so much love for it so for me I'd definitely put it higher. Ngl you've sold me on Gen V like a lot. I've never watched The Boys, nor cared to cuz it always screamed as HBO shock value to me and I'm not gonna look into medias that I know are gonna trigger me but tbh I had zero clue this was a college show and I can't agree more we need more Gen Z college shows. I'm so sick of so many recent popular shows being teen dramas. I'm 24, I'm sorry but I just don't care. That being said. Rise of the Pink Lady, the Grease remake was surprisingly good. But again, would kill for this kind of show and atmosphere to be focused on people who are adults. It's great that the teens get stuff, but sometimes it feels like media producers forget that a big part of Gen Z isn't really Riverdale age anymore.
Girly if you want another GOOOOOOD ✨ K-Drama, I highly recommend The Glory if you have not watched it. I was SAT the entire time because it was so good

I love Castelvania. Drolta's fits were everything. They gotta bring her back somehow. I love Annette. BEEF was cool but the drama was too much for me to get over. GenV was okay but I feel like I'm missing the hype. House of Usher was a masterful piece of tv. Great writing. I love just about everything Mike F has done with Netlfix (sorry Midnight Club).

After season 3 I was done 😭
Sex Ed was not supposed to end after season 4. I think they had one or two more seasons left. The only reason they have had to cut it short was because so many of the main actors said they would not be returning if there was season 5 and I guess they didn’t want to replace half the cast (I don’t blame them bc when the cast get’s replaced, it always goes downhill) so they just decided to end it after season 4 so the legacy doesn’t get tarnished too much.

Beef was like everything to me. My show of the year for sure. The way it tackled rage was amazing from start to finish I both knew exactly where they were going and still didn't. Got so much love for it so for me I'd definitely put it higher.
Ngl you've sold me on Gen V like a lot. I've never watched The Boys, nor cared to cuz it always screamed as HBO shock value to me and I'm not gonna look into medias that I know are gonna trigger me but tbh I had zero clue this was a college show and I can't agree more we need more Gen Z college shows. I'm so sick of so many recent popular shows being teen dramas. I'm 24, I'm sorry but I just don't care. That being said. Rise of the Pink Lady, the Grease remake was surprisingly good.
But again, would kill for this kind of show and atmosphere to be focused on people who are adults. It's great that the teens get stuff, but sometimes it feels like media producers forget that a big part of Gen Z isn't really Riverdale age anymore.
Girly if you want another GOOOOOOD ✨ K-Drama, I highly recommend The Glory if you have not watched it. I was SAT the entire time because it was so good
