R.I.P. Redd Foxx and The Champ
We know they've passed...
@@ipittythefool79So what if you knew? Do you have to a jerk?
brb gonna watch Harlem nights
Yes we do but whats wrong with shouting them out? R.I.P.@@ipittythefool79

Ali-an underrated comedian
Redd Foxx-an underrated boxer lol
😂😁 Underrated comment.
Indeed underrated comment 🤣🤣
😂 what they said
I was 1 yr old in 77'. I really enjoyed finding this.
Fer sure
When celebrities were special. NOT BETTER! Special 🤩
NO LIES TOLD!!!!!!! 💯
Must be nice in that delusional world you live in where you get to make up reality as it suits you. Back when celebrities used to over & over again say how they want to thank all the 'little people'. How much more 'better' does someone have to think of themselves to say sh** like that? Streisand, Taylor, Capote, Mailer, Harlow, all are infamous for their egos and arrogance, to name just a few. And plenty of athletes thought they were stuck on themselves.
Well during this time you never see them. Example if you liked Aretha franklin you saw the music video and heard her song on the radio that's it. Today if you like Taylor Swift she comes to you. Fakebook Twitter instasham UA-cam etc. plus videos and Radio and Internet radio.
Today's 📺 shows are goat 🐐 tripe 😂
Well said
Red fox was low-key nice with that defense though 😂😂😂😂
He got slapped though. haha
Bruh I was like Red was fast with putting those hands up. Love it
Facts
I noticed that, Lol
Big Facts! As entertaining as the entire interview was. It was that part that brought me to the comments.
Redd was so naturally funny he was amazing
Ali was already starting to slow down. I remember the quick talking fast responding Ali who couldn’t stop. The Ali of the earlier 1970s’. My champ
Yes I think the Parkinson’s was already setting in
At this point there was definitely some effects from the concussions and head trauma. 15 round fights were BRUTAL, and Ali would go the distance with Leon Spinks the next year (1978)...I can't imagine him fighting for 15 rounds in this condition.
That was the lasting effects of the "Rope-a-Dope", Foreman inflicted more pain than all of his other fights combined...
@@bigglilwayne7050 Absolutely. I've watched that fight dozens of times. I think people think of the "Rope-A-Dope" as Ali just covering up and taking shots to the body, arms, etc . However what happened over and over again in that fight was Ali getting hit with bombs to the gloves cinched up against his head. He didn't take a punch right on the button, to the jaw or temple; it was those constant thudding blows to his own gloves on the side of his head that really took their toll. The fact that he fought Frazier a third time, Ken Norton a third time as well, Leon Spinks twice and Larry Holmes and many other fighters all AFTER the fight in Zaire with Big George is completely unreal.
@@deneenjeffries2768just to let you know he was injected to get Parkinson’s. They were mad at his Malcolm affiliation, as well as his response to dodging the draft
I've never seen this before..this is beyond spectacular..thanks for whoever shared this..
Glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely hilarious, thanks
the irony is ali's iq tested to be something in the 80s. nonetheless he was a witty man
@@cagneybillingsley2165 I am curious to know if the testing was before or after he took all those head shots? I always assumed he was quite intelligent.
@@cagneybillingsley2165That's a bit hard to believe.
Foxx look like he could handle himself in the streets 😂
And if he couldn’t, he would sure make any opponent die laughing 😂
Anyone notice that Ali's speech was already beginning to get a bit slurred? I think the effects of Parkinson Syndrome were already beginning to show.
He clearly learned something about blocking.
My 2 HEROS right here!!!
These posts are Nostalgic indeed.❤
Mine too💯💪🏽🤲🏽✌🏽
Poi
I❤ 😮😮
These two were quick on the draw and sharp with the tongue 😅
This is Classic
Sure is!
I was laughing through the whole vid.
They did an improv comedy sketch...gold
When I was a teenager I would go with a teacher at Columbia College, when he was teaching television lighting. Right next store was Redd Foxx Productions. I would wait for him to go out back and smoke cigars. He was always nice to me. He would say " how you doing son?" I was always completely enamored by him. By far he was the most natural funny comedian to ever live. R.I.P. big guy.
@@johnnydamaged7117 What a great story! That's great to hear he was not only a great comedian, but he was nice to a young admirer ❤
Your IQ never reached room temperature...man the 'Foxx' was cold! Even Ali was caught off guard! Two of the greatest, seriously funny, entertainers at work.
Two very high IQ guys actually. Good stuff.
i think ali says something like did you just come up with that and foxx says no, i didn't make that up that's old standard stuff right there. love it...what a g
70s Television was great, a lot of great shows, cartoons, etc
We’re happy to bring back what we can. Thanks for watching!
Amen. 🙂
Shut up, you had 4 channels

@michaelr3583 Quality over quantity always comes out on top. Be quiet and have a seat.
2 of the greatest of all times...R.I.P Champ and Mr. Foxx
It's awesome funny the fact that both of them were good friends with Malcolm....
Yep..Redd and Malcolm use to run the streets together before Malcolm became Malcolm , Malcolm was called Redd aswell..👍🏾
Not for long, Mohammed fell out with Malcolm X before Malcolm's death. Ali said that was his biggest regret.
@@sayedalazam4228that's the problem with Islam there's no love in that religion, Christianity teaches us forgiveness. Mr. Martin Luther king demonstrated that.
@@skuastone9698 you're so uneducated I can't believe you know how to breathe. The Quran mentions Mary more than your Bible.
@@skuastone9698if it wasn’t for all of those good Christians with their burning crosses and nooses, there wouldn’t have been a need for a Malcolm or Martin
This is bittersweet to watch, mostly because you can tell the champ is starting to slow down
True. Bittersweet is a perfect description ❤️
Its clear as day and so damn sad.
Victims of our government. Ali and Foxx were very outspoken critics on some of the issues that we face and productive unifiers. They were the best at their craft.
Victims? Man, go yoas on somewhere, VICTIM Supreme.
Victim of what? Ali never worked a day in his life.
@@chalkandcheese1868Let you rethink that logic, makes no sense. If we are talking about his professional career, he worked most days like everyone else. He was a victim of the US governments prejudice for sure; but that also made him a hero.
@@racky-s568 I'm talking about REAL work, he couldn't even read for Christ's sake, and he dodged the draft like a coward.
@@chalkandcheese1868how would you characterize real work? Illiterate people have been working since the beginning of humanity. He paid a price for not going to fight an unnecessary war that the US lost.
"His face looked different, it was punched to look like that" 😂😂 Fred G Sanford.
The inspiration for handsome Squidward
How they hell didn't we know about all these old shows?
He quit Sanford and Son to do this. This show didn't last long and he went back to Sanford but no Lamont and it wasn't the same
I never knew nothing bout this
@LilMarv Yes Redd could have stayed on Sanford and Son because they still had good ratings
Producers are afraid to show us in our best light. It disproves so-called Whyte supremacy.
@@mcclendonreportABSOLUTELY 😊
Redd Foxx was quick with it, very funny. You can see why he was so successful
Yes Foxx was surprisingly very quick witted for his age
That is comedy at its finest; the witty, brilliant, intelligent, King brother, Redd Foxx. and our beloved big brother, King Ali. it doesn’t get any better than this.
Yes, yes it does. It gets ALOT better than this.
Their banter is pure genius.
Your king 😂😂😂😂
@@AnglandAlamehnaSwedish exactly you’re dealing with the southern kingdom of the children of YIsra’EL descendants of slaves. maybe that went over your head so allow me to invite you into the conversation. please make sure you read (Isaiah 14:1-3) watch out for the weather the Almighty Yahweh is judging the Earth. Wake up Jacob. he who laughs last;laugh all eternity.
Red Fox was funny as hell😂
You should have listened to some of Red's R rated records before he went on TV. My friends parents had a couple of them and when the cat's were away the mice did play.
I was 10 years old when this first aired and I’m 57 now and it’s still epic! 💯
So happy you found it!
Those defensive moves and the body shot let you Redd had skills.
If the champ didnt have his health problems a legit run as host of the Tonight Show or something similar could have been in his future. Supremely entertaining with his banter, and quips. He is next to a comedy LEGEND and is more than holding his own. RIP to the Greatest!
That would have been a fun show!
Red Foxxx was fresh asf back then to be his age 💪🏾💪🏾
Yep❤❤
Because he wasn't paying his taxes. He would have probably lived longer if he was...
Classic. Never knew of this. Redd Foxx was really on or starred in a lot of tv shows.
Yes! Wish we could have seen more.
His stand-up act and comedy albums were hilarious and RAUNCHY. He paved the way for Richard Pryor and many others.
Red Foxx actually had his own tv show. It was called The Red Foxx Show.

They weren't nothing but 3 channels we was all glued both of these dude was part of my childhood

Great shows!
Growing up in those days makes me realize just how much Hollywood and the USA have gone down hill. Now it's Hollyweird at best and the US🌈🦄🪳🐑🚽🪠
Redd Foxx got that hip hop swagger before hip hop
Redd Foxx had great smooth style and I’m here for it!!!
We’ll never see days like those ever again and it’s sad because we never thought that we’d be seeing this and reminiscing about the good old days.
We got the greatest ever on the same stage with Muhammad Ali... legendary.
4:50 I snickered when Redd Foxx grumbled about Muhammad Ali telling jokes, here. It reminded me of Johnny Carson who would, also, pull out the very same reaction (disappointment, pouty resentment, petty jealousy) when some guest was starting to win over the audience with a joke. It's got layers to it, and is hilarious.
lol... might been a little petty... but to be fair Redd Foxx looked higher than a kite here. I don't see any resentment here.
@@kennethkigundu2168 How is your emotional intelligence? I ask because "petty" is really more of a _behavior,_ and the other three words I used identify *emotions.* I understand that, if you don't actively practice reading people's emotions, it's hard. A lot of men are content to remain in the realm of the intellect, and observable behavior.
Yall it is not that deep, they're 2 quick witted people, it's banter.
@@skepchica There are levels to this -- and to life. If you want to remain on the surface of it, no problem, no judgement. You'll frustrate yourself, however, if you work hard to convince others that yours is the only perspective. (It's kind of like insisting that _This is only a checkerboard!_ just because you've never heard of chess.)
@@jimreadey4837 Ahh. You explain the levels then.
