Milim is not as naive as she appears but is as childish as she acts. She emphasizes her childishness as she realizes there are people much smarter than her that will try to trick her so she tries to get people to underestimate her. She realizes Rimuru is manipulating her but is not doing it to hurt her or use her power as his own but is just making sure she does not cause trouble for him. She views him as a good person and does care about him as a friend.

I've been trying to get people to understand that while childish in behavior, Milim is not childish in her thinking. She's one of the oldest Demon Lords for a reason, and it isn't just her considerable strength, it's that she plays at being slower witted when she really is quite sharp. He childishness is more a factor that she deliberately assumes a persona that matches her appearance. While selfish in personality, Milim isn't generally evil in behavior. It's more like she's constantly searching for entertaining activities to resist the boredom of being as old and powerful as she is.
A clear example of this is when she punishes the other demon lord's minion, and later in the meeting obviously threatens them with harm behind Rimiru's back. Unfortunately she hasn't caught on that Rimiru has 360 degree vision yet, so he's also aware she's playing on a couple different levels. She is very pissed that a rival is attempting to muscle in on her new source of entertainment.

Milim isn't evil. She is just apathetic, or was before bumping into Rimuru. She is one of the strongest beings in existence, she was criminally bored, and couldn't care less about most anything because it'd all grown so dull to her. The Orc Disaster incident isn't really her fault unless you count non-interference. She had no real reason to stop the other Demon Lords, the world itself revolves around the philosophy of kill or be killed so this is just part of the natural order of things.
Rimuru's, and our own, points of view are quite aberrant by this world's standards. If monsters get wiped out, nobody bats an eye apart from the monsters in question. Milim not challenging that doesn't make her a bad person, any more than people in history doing things we'd now consider to be unspeakable but which were normal at the time. They just don't know better and have no means of being educated otherwise. What's important is that she, like many others around Rimuru, learns better from him.

Exactly, in the web novel we eventually find out that Milim is 2000 years old and because she is ridiculously OP, people have been trying to manipulate her for 2000 years. Spoiler alert: the truth is she often lets people think they are manipulating or controlling her when in fact she is really controlling them. Notice how she still got lunch.

It is more like they treat each other as friends who they nudge one way or the other(for their own good of course). Milim does like Rimuru and they both look out for each other. She does not take kindly to people who try to control her against her will or best interests. If you look closely she gets lunch and a new dwarf made weapon.

I personally don't think Milim's faking it. First off, she's one of the most powerful demon lords, so she doesn't have any need to use deception to get what she wants. Secondly, due to this immense power, she can do whatever she wants and does not have any allegiance to Rimuru. As Rimuru says, she acts like a young child and is easy to convince even though she could literally do anything at anytime

You can compare people calling Rimuru "weak" cause he is a slime to Milim being thought of as "stupid" because she acts like a child. She is an insanely good actor and is very smart. She is not the second most powerful demon lord for nothing. At this point in time in the story, I would say she is still kind of on the fence, but she 100% becomes a "bestie" over time.

Something you seem to have missed regarding the potions (or maybe I misheard you) is they aren't going to make a business of their nation selling Full Potions, they're going to dilute the potions into lower grades and sell those to adventurers. If I remember correctly from when I read this part in the manga, one potion of a given level can be diluted into either 10 or 100 potions of a lower tier, which means that one Full Potion can be turned into hundreds or even thousands of lower-grade potions.
Presumably, it takes a similar magnitude of time and resources to make a Full Potion vs a High Potion, but making Full Potions is 100x more profitable when you dilute them for sale. That is why the Jura Tempest Federation will specialize in producing and selling health potions, because they can beat competing nations in volume and profit margin while still undercutting them in price. The proceeds from potion sales would be used to trade for things they can't produce domestically and help the JTF expand into additional markets.

Or take the whole debacle with the Orc Disaster for instance...only way that could have ended peaceably for the Forest of Jura was by taking Geld out of the picture. Now Rimura figured out the way to end so that everyone came out on top in the end, but it couldn't have happened if no one had fought the Orc Disaster.

I feel you misunderstood the point/value of the Full Potions. It's not that they were only going to be sold to the wealthy, it was that the potions were so effective as to basically be able to reverse death, so the mere idea of selling them as a common restorative was absurd, especially since you can dilute a Full Potion into a small supply of High Potions (which A. Are already highly effective at healing, but can't restore anything drastic, and B. Can be further diluted into Low Potions, which are what most regular adventurers use), so selling for anything less than the cost of said High Potions would, again, be absurd.
Instead, the real focus is in the Dwarven researchers ability to craft Full Potions. Until now, the ability to craft Full Potions has been nigh impossible, and even Rimuru couldn't explain how he can do it (AFAIK). Because they can craft Full Potions, they can sell both the Full Potion and the diluted High/Low Potions, the latter now arguably for much cheaper than any other country, hence why they want to work with the Dwargon Kingdom to both sell the potions and acquire the resources to better craft them.
You get it, but I think Vesta also said that so not everyone can get their hands on a 99% potion, like a dangerous nation.
She doesn't fake it. There is no need to and she is happy about it to have rimuru as her friend cuz he won't easily disappear like her old one's cuz demon lords can get very very old. She outlived them all cuz of the concentration of magicules so I bet she felt lonely most of the time. There is absolutely no point for her in faking it, if she wanted she could take over the forest by sheer power.

Veldora has a sort of lesser immortality because he is reborn should his body be destroyed, but it’ll only be the core of his soul, his current incarnation’s memories will disappear. The demon lords are all ageless and immune to natural deaths like disease. The only way they can die are through battle, but they can die.

I think you missed a little about the potions. It's not that he was going to sell the Full Potion that was a good move, but what they decided to do instead. While the Full Potion would be sold to select clientele at a high price they decided to dilute the Full Potion into mass producing low potions and sell these to Dwargon in exchange for Dwargon providing the materials. This allows the Jura Tempest Federation to get a steady income stream and cuts the cost of making the potions themselves for the dwarves thus solidifying their alliance further.
I saw some comment on a slime video asking why Rimuru isn't trying to get stronger if he knows that there are people 10 times stronger than him. Kinda warms my hard to know how many other anime do that so people just expect it, but slime stays awesome and to himself. All hail Rimuru!!!
Just a quick correction: Scylla and Charybdis weren't 'opposite sides of a river'. They were monsters that according to myth occupied the Strait of Messina, the body of water between the mainland of Italy and the island of Sicily. Charybdis was characterised as being a whirlpool that caused havoc to shipping in that area.

Here is something not explained in the anime
a big thing about the full restore potions that rimuru and co can make can be diluted to make high teir potions and further be diluted for low tier potions, which means even if the full potions are incredibly expensive to make, they can dilute it to make a giant tank of low tier potions, so they can actually make potions the cheapest and most efficient now

Potions heal by percentage, not a set HP amount.
The trick is the potency has a MASSIVELY disproportionate effect on the potion.
99% pure (Rimaru's potion, Full Potion) = 100% recovery, including regeneration of lost limbs.
98% pure (Dwarves best, High Potion) = 80% recovery, no regeneration.
97% pure (Potion) = 30% recovery
96% pure (Low Potion) = 10% recovery
Now the _really_ odd part is how dilution works.
1 part 99% pure to 10 parts water = 10 98% pure potions
1 part 98% pure to 10 parts water = 10 97% potions
1 part 97% pure to 10 parts water = 10 96% potions.
That means 1 Full Potion can be diluted to 1000 Low Potions. Somehow these Low Potions are still 96% pure.
And it's not so much that not to many people could use the Full Potions, it's that not too many people could _afford_ the Full Potions. Only the richest and highest tier of adventurer could afford a Full Potion, so they wouldn't be able to sell many of them. Meanwhile they can _easilly_ sell 1000 Low Potions and make a mint.
Something that was cut/altered was the high potion. dwargon sells low potions [ie 98/99% diluted down to make a hundred 1% potions], and instead of the anime where tempest takes over and offers a cheap deal so dwargon just focuses on procuring ingredients for tempest, the manga/LN has tempest sell high potions instead to strike the untapped sweet spot. [High potions are less diluted potions, but can only be done with the 99% version of full potions]
Rimuru has been creating Full Potions = 99% Hippocus herb/grass. And Vesta has replicated Rimuru's Full potions(Can regenerate lost limbs). 1 High Potion(Can't regenerate lost limbs) = 98% - 100 low potions. Quote me if wrong,

Milim has only ever had one friend before Rimuru. she is also another demon lord. the problem with being the most destructive being around is that people only want 2 things from you either to go away and never return or to take advantage of her destructive potential. having a child like personality dosnt stop her from being a combat monster although a strategy isn't necessary when your her level of op. if you want strategy you go with the spirit queen but then you have a demon lord that is not a powerhouse combatant.
Finding your self between “Scylla and Charybdis” is where we get the saying finding yourself between a “rock and a hard place”.

Another great thing about the Jura-Tempest Federation becoming a major healing potion-producing center is that it will help solidify Rimuru and his land full of monsters as benevolent and helpful rather than a danger to the rest of the world. Such a thing would be a MAJOR step in Rimuru's plan for a nation that is a haven for all people, monster and human to live and work together in. It's a beautiful, long term plan that Rimuru has concocted.

Basically, what's going on with Milim and her child-like behaviors, one of the reasons she acts so immature is actually because she has been at the peak of the world for longer than anything else alive. She has been rivaled with 1 other demon lord for the absolute strongest, and she does not take or own territory or play politics among the demon lords so that 1 other demon lord who basically equals her for power does not worry about her or interfere with her at all.
So, basically, she has lived for an eternity without a care in the world, so she becomes less and less mature as time goes on. There is also something you will notice among the other demon lords. Milim is not the only one among them who has had this degredation in their maturity levels. It is the most extreme with Milim, but some of the other REALLY old demon lords also act fairly immature. Basically, the only demon lords who really act like your typical caniving "villain in the shadows" style demon lords are less than 1,000 years old. The ones who are older than 1,000 years have simply stopped caring, including the one who rivals Milim for power.
(Actually, of the 1,000+ year old demon lords, the one that rivals Millim for power is probably the most mature among them. The rest are more or less a middle school classroom together with Milim. Although, I do mean middle-school level for the rest of them. Milim acts a little more like a hyperactive elementary schooler. Like I said, she is the most extreme case in terms of the loss of maturity with extreme age. Oh, yes, and BTW, the one that rivals Milim for power acts like a chill 16 year old, so he's not exactly adult-like either. Just more mature than the rest of the 1,000+ year old demon lords whit the illusion of maturity amplified by his laid-back attitude in the same way that Milim's hyperactive behavior makes her elementary-school level maturity seem even worse.)
All that said, the 1,000+ year old demon lords may not act that mature, but they are not dumb. They still know facts, and they also still know when they are being taken advantage of. They just don't act very adult in their typical behavior.

I understand why you would say she's faking it because to be fair I would also doubt it if someone suddenly become this close to me. However in reality she is just incredibly bored and at this moment she is just find Rimuru interesting and also want to play with him for a while. She is true to that extent at the current moment. I doubt she has any malicious intend given she does help Rimuru out during the later battles.
She seems childish and in fact she is childish. She get satisfied fairly easily with food and new "toys". She is easy to please. However, she is nowhere dumb. She can see through if anyone have malicious intents towards her as she has been living for over 2000 years. She is certainly interesting and in fact she did become true besties later on in the series

Still, One very minor detail that I think you skipped was the suggestion of selling the High-grade potions to the dwarves as a basis for their own lower tier potions.
From what I gathered from the episode, low-tiger potions are actually created by diluting higher grade potions, and it was suggested that the ones produced on Rimaru’s nation could be sold to the dwarves as the base product for the process. In a way, it’s like selling refined ore to be used as a basis for alloys, or diluting high proof alcohol into lower tier store brands.
Rimuru is setting up the residents of Jura forest to be able to live well and peacefully after he's gone. He's totally looking forward either finding a way home or living on his own without all of those responsibilities.

About the potion part: I've read some comment sayinng that it's be more profitable to go for lower tier potions, because there's a bigger market, so they are sold quicker than higher tier ones, giving a more constant flow of money. Having diversity will help maintanintg the deal

Heck, even the girl Rimuru's body is based off of stood upon that lonely hill beside that lonely tree before she died...

Milim is quite the handful in this group of monsters. She's the Tohru To Rimuru Kobayashi (KOBAYASHI DRAGON MAID)

Thus she can do something around him she can't around her demonlord associates. Let her guard down. Just be herself. No plotting or scheming(except to get more sweets). Just being a goofy preteen. Doesn't hurt that Rimuru isn't afraid of her. He is well aware of her destructive potential but also knows what she really wants and is willing to let her live that life she maybe didn't get before she became a demonlord.
I think it's tough to consider Milim a evil/bad person in the world they live in. After all, technically all the wolves were going after the goblins and probably would have gone after others after for example, so if you consider Milim bad then by that standard Ranga would also be evil/bad ... right? While he wasn't the pack leader at the time, I don't think he had an issue with what they were doing.
In that world, strong monsters overtake the weak ... it's like the natural order. Survival of the fittest. I think the only thing that really makes someone like Milim different compared to say Ranga is she is bored and much much much stronger. This means what is going to be entertaining and fun to her is going to be very different than a pack of Direwolves. The scale is on an entirely different level.
Plus, the plan doesn't sound like something she came up with, and rather just took part in. Course this is just from my perspective. I have not read the manga up to the part it's currently at in the anime, so it's all new to me. It certainly would be interesting if Milim was tricking Rimuru, but I kind of doubt it. I think it's more likely that she just isn't necessarily totally on his side. I also don't think she has even shown any actual evidence that she is entirely on his side other than the whole besties thing. Which that term could be pretty flimsy to a Demon Lord who has lived so long.

I don't get why people would doubt that she would be faking being his friend. She could very easily take over the town herself, and none of them could come close to stopping her. Yes, she is manipulating his arrogance into getting what she wants. However, it's obviously not in a malicious way. Getting food, gifts, or just praise is all she's doing.
It's not like she doesn't do anything for the town either, as we've seen. She goes out and helps hunting, using her superior abilities. Not to mention, willingly volunteering to defend the town.
Get yourself a bestie like Demon Lord Milim. Must give occasional head pats and sweets.
As for Ainz and Rimur being opposite, one should also notice that they landed in very different worlds. Yes, there is an abundance of assholes in RImur's world, and some scary villains like the demon lord. But Ainz landed in a world where being conquered by an undead overlord is actually a change for the better for some people - if RImur had to deal with the likes of the Scriptures, 8 fingers or princess Renner, his story might look very differently.
You forget the demon Lord after all he is totally different for overlord because he doesn't have that level restrictions so he can become stronger and stronger
Slimes wiping out a party in D&D? Errr, no? Unless the party is exclusively melee, slimes are harmless. They move extremely slow and have such low armor class that a toddler throwing forks could hurt it. Just casually stroll away from the slime while shooting at it.

the way Milim was introduced in the manga did show that she was more intelligent than the child you see in the anime
She is his bestie of course she's on his side and one of my favourite scene was in this episode with shion losing her temper. Also cant wait for her weapon to be animated.
Networking! Obviously, the people skills of an everyday engineer or businessman wouldn't translate 100% into the ones needed by the leader of a flourishing country; but I just love seeing the little nods towards it.
Rimuru's origin isn't some hack&slash or RPG enthusiastic teen, but an adult whose life was centered around his job. A job that's been specified, and then the knowledge acquired from it shown having a practical application in Tempest... But, not onl that: those business meetings, working as a team and fostering cooperation between your coworkers, underlings and even networking with outside factions, with a clear point of view of "they have this that we could use, and maybe we can barter for it with this other thing".
Not a hero. Not an overlord: an everyday man entrusted with the fate of a faction that keeps on growing under him, and just handles it in a credible way, accordingly to his backstory and skillset.
As for the potions- yes: they're massively good. It was already explained back with the Dwarves that some wounds (like the ones from the accident) simply CANNOT be healed without leaving the user majorly crippled with the up to then strongest Dwarven potions in existence- something that Rimuru's and now also Vesta's potions can do.

on the potions, it is a bit wonky, I think that they should mass produce the stuff because it would be unfair to price-jack the potion especially when it involves life. but I can agree with the logic that they use that they don't need to make it so that only high potions are sold, because scaling is an issue.

Me and Chibi, really loved how Charybdis is in this anime as I like mythology as well, especially the mythical beasts like Charybdis and Scylla two sea monsters in greek mythology. However, from what they showed us it looks like this version of Charybdis is able to fly and does not look like a sea monster so it may be just the name that is similar.
Fun fact: Between Scylla and Charybdis is an idiom which derives from greek mythology and means having to choose between two evils
Bonus fact: I started to like mythology after playing the god of war series and I like Scylla more since it was featured in one of the games

I went out of my way 3 years later just to get the opportunity to talk about the expression "between Scylla and Charybdis" which I would say is basically the same as "between a rock and a hard place".
She's not faking it, Milim really adores Rimuru and his country now. So much so that she pretends to be a puppet for him, and in one of the parallel timelines or a bad route, she even unleashes her "Wrath" to another demon lord to avenge Rimuru. Something she hasn't done since the time she awakened as a true demon lord, which was thousands of years ago.
Milim is the ultimate besties of Rimuru...& she is also maliciously clever or sly one, if she is enemy they are sure dead!

milims whole thing is she is just bored as rimuru pointed out when she first came to visit and rimuru is a very good source for her to find entertainment so that's why she would never willingly betray their friendship(she just loves hanging out and having fun...also minor detail but she is one of the oldest characters in the series :) )

Oh, Miliam knows exactly what Rimaru is doing when he manipulates her. She lets him do it, and doesn't tell him anything truly 'secret'.
Milim has reasons she acts the way she does (I have a feeling that the anime adaptation of those scenes will have people crying en-mass, though given the manga hasn't made it there yet, it'll be quite a while for the anime...), but she's hundreds of years old (maybe more than 1000, can't remember), and _very_ intelligent and cunning.
More than that though, Rimaru is the first person since she ascended to the ranks of Demon Lord (which is a LOT more than just taking up a title, there are only 2 true Demon Lords atm, Milim and [Redacted]) to honestly be willing to befriend her, rather that seeking to use her or fearing her. And friendship means a LOT to Milim.
So old that the oldest documentation is a legend of her 2,000+ years ago.

The potions effect is static, not related to the "level" of the user. A low tier potion heals the same amount regardless, minor wounds only. Full restore potions can even regrow lost limbs.
