Diablo isn't even supposed to have been shown until next volume/ season so I suppose the anime only tease we got at the end of episode 23 is also a spoiler.
That being said, with how he was introduced (at least in the WN) him being shown early isn't an issue (unless it was changed in the LN).
Also no, Diablo isn't a good guy by any stretch of the imagination.
The only reason he finished his request is because he got his payment from her (the reason why his summoner fell over mid sentence is because he ate her soul).

If I remember correctly, Shizu got the mask from the champion that helped her. Chloe could be the champion that travels to the past with the mask and leaves it with Shizu to keep continuity.
The one who saved Shizu wasn't a Champion, but rather a Hero. There's a big difference between a Champion and a Hero. To be a Hero, you need to have the potential in your soul and to awaken that power(Hero's Egg) and to evolve into a True Hero you need to have an awakened Hero's Egg AND to be blessed with the Divine Protection of Ramiris.
The Hero that sealed Veldora, saved and trained Shizu, and later apparently returned to the past as a spiritual lifeform is indeed the same person.
The mask is a part of the time loop, and thus for time to keep consistent, the mask thus cannot be broken as long it's not the time when it's supposed to be broken(in the Ifrit vs Rimuru battle).
Correct Chloe is the hero and when she dies she reverse time to re incarnate as the younger Chloe
@@sancturillore I agree with that, young chole grows up goes back on time or something like that and becomes a hero, seals vendors, then meets shizu, trains her then somehow becomes a sprit and goes to her younger self in the future, her mask goes to shizu who meets rimaru and then gives him the mask, or he fixs it I'm actually not sure on that, rimaru then goes and saves chole and takes her to the point her future spirit self meets her or at least that's what I think, I don't actually know, sorry for the bad spelling.
@@darrenhodgetts7529 There are actually multiple instances of Chloe from different timeline. The Celestial Maiden, or future spirit we saw, came from a separate timeline. There are also two Chloes in existence at once, one of them being the Hero's body in Ruminas Valentine's coffin and the other being child Chloe at the Freedom Academy.

In Rimuru's darkest hour Diablo will be summoned... next season is going to be dark. But yeah the parallel between yin and yang is not entirely wrong given that Diablo kind of serves as Rimurus moral compass in how he constantly has to make sure he don't go to far.

Concerning Chibi's question about the mask, no it had never been revealed that the mask had some infinite characteristic related to time. My theory is that it is stuck in a time loop. (I.e. Chloe is the hero, and receives her own spirit from the future.) Black's extremely powerful strike against the mask just bounced back, tearing off his arm. He could not destroy it because it both pre-exists and post-exists that strike and has done so millions if not an infinite number of times. Destroying it would destroy the time loop, which even Black is not powerful enough to do.
Well those will be mentioned and explained in later vol which haven't been translated yet

I love some of the littlw movements they added to the characters, when the archidemon gets near shizu and moves from right to left, and in the op when rimuru uses his human body and does a little hop or something, idk why but i just love it so so much, the details... the details are one of the best things of a story and a scene.

There was so much detail they glossed over/ignored, like how Rimiru actually joined the Adventures guild?

Those four parts although they may have been small in the manga/WN, they make a huge impact in the long run in who they are/what they end up doing.

The Orges changed races to Oni, Diablo just levels up from arch demon to demon duke so he wouldnt get a change.
I hope the Manga/Anime Explain it better than the WN does, turns out naming multiple things Demon Lord makes things get confusing. (He at some point becomes a Demon lord Race, Not Demon Lord Title)
@@SimplyTippins Dunno, but I think the WN explained it quite well. There's the demon lord class (you only need to be above a certain power threshold) and the true demon lord (which involves evolution and a certain event). And through that event a demon lord gets his superior skills compared to just demon lord class.

Can't answer all your questions without major spoilers, but I'll try. *Light spoilers below*
The mask thing is related to how the world resolves paradoxes, but it's not exactly clear in this episode whether it's effecting her or just the mask.
Rimaru learned how to summon demons in this past arc during some cut content. He read about it in the library in the city while teaching, as well as saw it first hand in Fuse's city when he participated in a test for his adventurer's ranking. The golem he made used a greater demon as the core, so he's summoned demons before.
As for why he summons Diablo later on... He essentially expends a ton of energy and needs to catch someone or something before they get away, so he tries to use the rest of his mana to summon a small platoon of greater demons, but ends up only getting 3. He gives them orders then passes out from mind down. Diablo happens to be one of those demons.
One of the charming things about the series is how rimaru really has no idea just how strong he is or how strong others around him are except by vague comparisons, so the reason people are saying Diablo in this episode is a spoiler is that it affects your perception of him by knowing early that he's a much bigger deal than rimaru realizes from the get go.
All that said, next arc is easily my favorite in the series, and 2020 can't get here soon enough. Chibi wouldn't be wrong to read this series between now and then

In this World, from what I read in the light novel, you have to be stronger than the "monster" if you want to name him.
Veldora > Rimuru > Goblins, Dire-wolves, Ogres, Orcs ...
That's why they undergo a level up when they're named. Veldora didn't evolve but Rimuru did at the start of the series.
Also Rimuru didn't technically name Veldora since he was already named. He just gave him a family name witch is akin to a clan name in this world. So Veldora and Rimuru are from the same clan since they are both named Tempest. Fun fact Renga and the other Dire-wolves are also from the same clan now, since they are Tempest Wolves...
To summarize when Rimuru will change the name of Kuro into Diablo, he will be more powerful than him and then overwrite is former name...

Well after remaru cured the kids great sage acquired the summoning skill for remaru which caused him to be able to summon demons like he did with the fairies golem.
I recommend u read this Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou before the anime comes out and Kenja no Mago ( anime name is Philosopher's Grandson) before next month since Philosopher's Grandson comes out then. those 2 r good.

I've read the web novel and they have changed some things for the LN which the anime is going off of the LN. I kinda wish they held back on teasing DIablo but the show has done a good job besides being a little rush when Milim left.

@@danielantony1882 clearly u didnt read the light novel...its missing the fight for his B rank adventure status (which is where we first see demons, where big popa slime learns to summon demons, where we learn about the ranking of demons and the contracts) we missed the whole section of him making the new protector for the spirit queen (Including the demon he summons pledging loyalty and the contract he made with said demon) theres a BUNCH missing.
If u dont want to read it go to knowfun UA-cam page, he has the audio books but the further they have gone in the series the faster they seem to be trying to rush threw each book (first 8 episodes are the 1st book but the last 2-3 cover the whole 4th book)

I'm just pointing out what all they cut and how much of the story, world building and context they lost because of it...and his question about the demons are a perfect example of why they shouldnt have cut it...u were the one who asked what was cut because, and I quote "what are you talking about???, i personaly dont feel anything missing." And so I answered your question about what was missing and how it affected the story by removing it. since u commented that ntn qas missing...without reading the light novel to know what was actualy missing...

Anime scipped an important moment wher rimuru was getting his adventurer licence. In the exam for the licence he analised and learnd a spell that was used to summon demons for testing. That golem he created for our little fairy queen is a vessel for a demon that he summoned with that spell and the same is with Diablo.
Reading the manga is a great way to cover some of the miss out details from the anime, unless you got more time, can try to go read the LN as well for more details up to vol.4 or just check it out for the info data on Rimuru's current status, to have an overview of what skills he has and his current power level. When reading the LN, you can just do speed reading and stop at parts where the information is not mentioned or different in the anime or manga.
Or after you have done the manga, while waiting for season 2 you can also try to rewatch the season and see if you find some information that you might previously miss out or some things that make a better sense to you now and let you see some things in a new light.

Chloe is the hero that gave Shizu the mask... I haven’t read what’s coming next but it everything points to that. It shows why the character knew who Shizu was and why would she give an important weapon such as the mask to Shizu.
Looks like someone finally uses common sense.
correct me if i'm mistake, but i think infinity time means that mask is undestructible, it has no begining nor end and is trapped in a loophole to be passed from chloe to shizu to rimuru and back to chloe

Their evolved design is very bland. The only Ogre-like feature they have are their Horns. And they're not even good. Their horns are like a Tree in the middle of a Desert.

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!
Why may be more important than how.
Tempest is invaded resulting in deaths including Shion and children. The human mage adventurer tell him a story that the dead can be brought back if he becomes an awaken demon lord by killing 10000 or more humans. the invasion force is 15000 sooo.... Rimuru driven almost mad with grief and anger goes full metal jacket Ainz Ooal Gown on their a$$e$. Before everyone is dead or captured Rimuru starts to turn into a true awakened demon lord and is about to go into hibernation. In order that everyone left be captured Rimuru uses summon greater demon. The thing is his magicules are already smashing through the roof and his offering is close to 15000 dead human sacrifices, that is how he ends up summoning Noir who is like f*********k I just won the sacrifice lottery jackpot. Noir realizing that this is his chance to become the most powerful demon in existence does everything he can to impress Rimuru. The gambit pays off when Milim class awakened demon lord Rimuru wakes up and names him Diablo. Diablo is like if Sabastian from Black Butler and Ainz Ooal Gown had a baby that was powered by a H bomb.
Well... damn.
I really enjoyed the happy feeling of this series but I suppose the next season is really going to go all ham. Can’t wait to see how it goes!

It really really does in the web novel. It goes from happy happy all the time to more like if you put Dragonball Z, Legion, Overlord and Supernatural in a blender and hit frappe. The first invasion of Tempest is only the beginning. Everything will escalate exponentially all the time after that. Not just Rimuru but everyone he knows ends up evolving like Goku from the constant attacking pressure.
