Great Video, really enjoyed it . Thankyou for the tips! We are off to Porto in September. I am vegan aswell as gf. Its stressful in a new city finding safe food. I am doing plenty of research before we go. Looking forward to it, looks a beautiful city. 🐱. Did you take the train from the Airport into Porto btw and is it easy?
Hi, train tickets are easy to get day off. We got a taxi from Pinhao to Casa do Arco for 10 euros and the taxis are just outside the station but you need cash and there isn’t really anywhere to get cash out in Pinhao
@@DrTrevvy thanks -- I booked your same two hotels (first two--Porto and Douro Valley)! Fingers crossed on our September weather. I also NEED gf so appreciated your recommendations
@@GinaHoughton-Larsen That's amazing! Really happy to hear that! We loved both of them, especially Maison Bleue is such a nice hotel to have in Porto and the breakfast is great for GF. Also Cozinha da Clara in Pinhao was great for food. I would recommend Bomfim winery by the way in Pinhao, we didn't go to that one because we didn't book ahead but we've heard that was a good one :)
