This scene was so beautiful. The unspoken kindness of Norman towards Stephen contrasted so well against how Stephen had been treated by some other characters in the film.
Absolutely love Toby Jones' work. Looking forward to this as a cinephile and as film worker. Cheers Searchlight!
His role in this movie was really impactful for every time he was on screen!
After I saw this achingly beautiful film, I never looked at that beam of light the same way again!
Wonderful example of film-making at its finest. Saw it yesterday, and highly recommend it.
I think this was a underrated piece of art such a good film
Hope it'll be enough to win an Oscar.
Which actor?
@@craigledger4645 Maybe for best picture.
@@uyeda It looks like it's got mixed reviews from critics and crowds, so I'm not too hopeful for a best picture nomination. But I will say, this is surely the one I'd pick to win it. Based off the Golden Globes nomination for Olivia Colman, I would suspect it will get an Oscar nomination for Best Actress, and hopefully at least a Best Cinematography nomination. While I'd like it to get much more, those are the two that I think will actually happen.
At the very least, it should be nominated for Best Actress (Olivia Colman) and Best Cinematography (Roger Deakins)
