She was toxic on antm and now using her “weight gain” to tell us how much she loved food.. implying that enjoying your food equates to weight gain.. which is a bit problematic, because one of the big factors in a sustainable and healthy diet is having a good relationship with food.. thinking “loving food” equals “weight gain” confirms food guilt mindsets of people who may struggle with disordered eating habits.

As a Canadian, I also don't understand why someone would actively avoid maple syrup under than the price. My favourite thanksgiving food is sweet potato that's pre cooked, and then fried or baked in a mix of maple syrup and margarine (I'm lactose intolerant so had to switch from butter), and sometimes we add a bit of coconut sugar or brown sugar (depending on if diabetic family is there or not, honestly they taste the same to me), and it's just so good! After my grandmother passed away, I took on making it every year, and that comment about syrup reminded me of it.

Another option is to just use half the bagel. That’s usually a better match for my appetite, and open-faced sandwiches have plenty of room for toppings and are way easier to eat. My favorite is an everything with my local fish market’s smoked salmon pate, topped with cucumber slices. It hits all the right spots: crunchy, smoky, and sticks with me until lunch. @@MrAmkid with allllll the BS that tyra has done to countless women through the years including black women. Including making white women dress in black face, forcing women to do things they don't want to do, putting down 6 feet tall 130 pound models for being overweight and plenty of other things. No, I am not saying shading ANYONE is right but there are certainly other people to call out for doing all sorts of things. (By the way, my father isn't a white man. I came out really pale like my Mom)

@@MrAmkid this has nothing to do with Tyra’s race. Stop making everything about race because it will start to invalidate what ACTUAL racism is. Tyra just is not a likeable person and Abbey agrees.

@@hellobye7697 regardless of how likeable or unlikable Tyra might be, women of colour don't need white blond health experts making catty videos about their food choices. To each their own.

Remember when she went off in a model about her weight gain telling her there is no excuse that she would get a burger and not eat the bun she made that model pose as gluttony and an elephant and how much they had to retouch her stomach 🙄 I can't stand her "I'm so relatable" act, the body shaming, the blackface, and her clear distain of black girls in general
