    Some bikes might be faster. Some bikes may feel more "exciting". But none have the soul and feeling that Honda managed to produce in this bike! It's perfection.

    Hi man, thanks for the video, you just got a new subscriber. In a couple of days I’ll go check out one in the same colour way as yours, 2013, ixil exhaust, decat, bar end mirrors, brake and clutch levers, led rear light with integrated blinkers etc and a bunch of other tasteful mods (in my opinion at least). It sits on 25.000 km, I cant wait to see how the engine sounds and if the price is right I’ll get my fist bike. All the best!

    • @bxl1121
      @bxl1121  Рік тому

      Hey man, Sounds like the bike has all the mods that it needs :))) 25,000 km is nothing for these bikes I have seen some with 100,000 km on it and still running perfect. It is a perfect bike in every aspect (well it does drink fuel but lets skip that part) Not sure if it is a good first bike but if you are confident in your skills you'll be OK. Hope you get it. Glad you liked the video and ride safe!!!

    I have a 2009 with 90 000 plus Km. It looks brand new moto. I ve done a few modifications too. Swingarm carbon protection, a rear road hug (don´t know if it´s the right word), carbon wheel guard, the little side fairings In carbon too, Akrapovic, K&N filter and an electronic gadget to make the Air/fuel mix right. Most important a front sprocket with less 2 teeth. This makes a all lot diference !! Now i am thinking in a power commander too. Love this Bike. When I bought the bike It was around 19 000 Km´s. Now like I said before 90 000 plus !!

      Wow good for you man. Sounds like you are really enjoying your bike. They are meant to be driven and to be driven hard. I do track days on mine as well. One of the best naked bikes ever made if you ask me. Ride safe brother!

      I’m a beginner, so i have to ask. What’re the benefits with the -2 teeth from the sprocket?

  • @59vaughn

    When I start mine it's exciting...when I click into gear and pull off it's exciting...if I need more, cranking throttle to higher revs gets exciting...handling is as good as I need....it's puzzling.....being understated....and despite the power it's quite capable ....that 133 wheel must be decent ...the torque is always so pleasant......

    Hey man thanks for the upload:) I went to check out a stock second hand cb1000r in HRC colours and I’m really happy with the potential you’re displaying here:)) I like how compact it is and how perfect the ergonomics are coming from a monster s2r 1000. Needless to say I bought it 😛 this will obviously not have the ‘character’ of the monster but too much character is also possible😂 peace and ride safe

      Hey thanks a lot for watching. Congrats on your purchase. I am sure you will enjoy it more and more as the time will go by. If you do some modifications it will be even better. I love the Monster and V twin engines generally. CB is completely different animal though. I also have SV650 and I love that bike for its engine. Take it out on twisty roads and enjoy the ride man!

    Hello, I got myself one after i watched this video about 10 times xD. Now I have a question. Did you have any fault codes or things like that after doing the DeCat? I am thinking about removing it myself but am a bit scared that i get a check engine light or something like that

    • @bxl1121
      @bxl1121  Рік тому +1

      Greetings! Good for you man! You got yourself a very special motorcycle. The answer is no, I did not get check engine light after I removed the cat. I rode for one month like that and no issue whatsoever. After one month I put it on dyno. Do it for sure, it becomes a complete animal. Enjoy your bike and ride safe! Thanks for watching.

      @@bxl1121 Icredible that you answer on a 2 year old video in less than 15 minutes! Thank you very much! I am still thinking because i am from austria and decat is kinda illegal here, i have to research if i get through inspection like that, but with the original kat it just doesnt sound like a 1000 should in my opinion. But the rest is amazing i absolutely love this machine since day 1

      you know the cb1000r has double the power of a cb600 and is about the same weight, had a cb600 great bike for thrashing around and dont use much fuel, the cb1000r does about 120 miles to a tank.

    Good Video mate and great bike. Got mine last September used with a setup similar to yours: Akra end can with the catalyst box removed, DNA air filter, Bazzaz Z-Fi fuel + traction module, Wiseco hi-perf pistons as well as a matris steering damper (plus a few cosmetic add-ons like tail-tidy, rear wheel hugger, adjustable levers etc). Previous owner also had the bike dyno tuned and judjing by the result I would also consider this essential. Totaly agree with you as to this proving hard to replace when the time comes ......

    • @bxl1121
      @bxl1121  3 роки тому

      Thanks for watching man. Sounds like yours is more heavily modified :) steering damper, rear hugger and quick-shifter is something I am looking into now. I am enjoying this bike so much can’t wait for warmer weather! It is going to track soon so will probably report back on that. Ride safe and enjoy the ride. All the best.
