I am a proffesional welder also at food industry. Most of the times I weld this type of weld. 2mm corner joints. I set my machine to 2 hz pulse, 124A current, 20%, and 24A low current. After 8 hours I see stars while I drive home.

@@peterbagosi3862 I have the time and I get bored alot of times. So I try many many variations. From 4hz till 30 I cannot see a thing while weldin like I am at a rave party. I also like all 33. I mean 33hz, 33% and 33A low current. At 88-92 amps.

@@tatakizsadly, pulse light is not the healthiest thing that could happen to your eyes :/

I would use at least 50 hertz pulse for this, and up to 100, on an inverter machine. As well I pulse with a foot pedal technique on certain welds to control the heat input and weld pool. It's a technique I learned back in the late 70's welding thinwall chromoly BMX frames, and flat track Harley racing frames. It can be perfected to achieve extremely uniform results, and high travel speeds.

Good examples and useful information. Fun humor also! I think that stainless plate is "thin" when it is 1 mm or less. I am working to improve my welds and minimize heat input for 0.9 mm stainless, and it is difficult, especially at the edges of the plate. I would enjoy any new information about welding thin plate such as this 0.9 mm stainless.

현장마다 스타일이 다르긴한데
십몇년전 어린이보호구역 난간 만들때
1.8-2t정도 파이프를 사용했는데
보통 170-200암페어 놓고 1.6mm
용접봉으로 스트레이트로 긁었습니다.
적응하기 힘들었지만 물량뽑을러면
어쩔수 없기에 하긴 했는데
뭐 덕분에 스트레이트 긁는건
자신있더라구요. ㅎㅎ
그다음엔 압력계 버든관 0.2mm 갭큰거
2.4mm용접봉으로 용접하는것도 해보고ㅎ
하여간 용접의 세계는 참 다양한거
같습니다.

좋은 영상 감사합니다~ 용접 포인트가 짧을 경우엔 스폿모드가 좋고 용접 포인트가 길 경우엔 펄스모드로 하면 더 괜찮겠네요.
