Ive seen to many of these videos and everyone of them leaves out a key recommendation for if you want to get riptide. Save all your crucible engrams until you've reset your rank atleast once or twice to get multiple perks in each column. You can get lead from gold and auto loading in the same column and switch between the 2
Didn't know this...and now I need to play crucible a lot...I just got a chill clip rip and it has compulsive so I'm gonna hold on to it till I get another one.
@@saxoferm I got one with lead from gold, field prep, and perpetual motion in one column and chill clip, vorpal, and harmony in the other. It's the same for vanguard and gambit of course
To clarify, each reset adds the possibility of one extra perk alternating between columns three and four, maxing out at three each. So to maximize your chances save all of your engrams until you complete your forth reset and then go on a focusing spree and pray.

Whoever mentioned "How can it be a solo group if you're in a group" lol I started a group for ppl to make friends all of which played d2 as a solo player up until now. We just started raiding together, doing gms etc. So it's a group for long-time solo players to join in make friends with others who are chill, relaxed and also used to be solo for pretty much all of d2 A lot of ppl remain solo due to being shy, or not wanting to deal with "ktwd" types of ppl. This is just really to bring those types of ppl together to have fun together.
A retraced path is another good gun from Dares. With incandescent and Subsistence. I like using it when I need to mow down a lot of adds and need a ignition or two.
One of the best ones I found was The Title SMG from Guardian Games. Got me through Legendary Lightfall on my Voidlock, just a shame you can only get it three weeks per year.
also with the hung jury from a couple updates ago since it has shoot to loot and paired with kinetic trimmers. So kinetic trimmers paired with S2L perk combos can pick up ammo and now S2L picks up orbs of power unless theirs a bug with the combo its also a good combo for the hung jury. Also thanks for this info on the other weapons much appreciated info.
I was hopeful of the title of the video, but turns out this is pretty funny. I'd never heard of the Riptide, the first and easiest of these weapons to get...oh, yeah, if you're a PvP monster. If you're not so much of a PvP monster, maybe not so easy to get. If you don't play PvP, well you've probably never heard of it, much less have any chance of getting it. I'll try to hang out for the rest of the video to give you another view...you made it, you've earned it.
Just wanted to ad, hung jury can now also get shoot to loot +kinetic tremors. Kinetic tremors explosions will pick up any and all ammo in about a 10 food radius from what youre shooting

A rampage Night Watch was the first really cool, fun gun I got in D2 (started playing at the end of Forsaken). Easily one of my favorite weapons regardless of the level of content I’m soing
I've had sordid luck with Riptide rolls, but I just 'happened' to get an Aurvandil FR6 with Reconstruction/Chill Clip randomly. It's a high impact frame, but it's decent.
i noticed you haven't mentioned any long range weapons other than the taipan, there's a sniper called irukandji, its a world drop and it can roll with fourth times the charm and firing line, its too good for a world drop imo, also banshee is selling one this week with firing line, its not the godroll but its still super good
As a solo destiny player this is so freakin useful! I would love to get all of the novel raid weapons and what not but I'm not sweaty or social enough to try lmao. I’ll definitely invest some time into getting these and maybe getting a few solo dungeons under my belt 🤘
Made a new account recently just to see what it was like, and I got to say, there is a LOT of very good weapons that require no money and no team/clan to get. Like most, if not all nightfall weapons are good, and one you didn't mention that I think deserved a mention is Militia's birthright, and also Pardon Our Dust.
i prefer lead from gold or field prep than compulsive and auto loading on riptide, i prefer more overall ammo than quick acess to full mag since chill clip works like inverse high impact reserves
2:52 yeah the worst part about being a titan main although we do have sword flying so that makes up for it and I know it does, I used to main warlock lol
One thing you got wrong about Other Half is that it is actually guaranteed to drop with a red border if you get it, plus if you run LegenDAREy Dares every week, you'll eventually unlock the whole set.
i've got maybe 15 crucible resets since riptide dropped with no 5/5 roll. one day 🙏 couple notes; i highly recommmend lead from gold on Riptide especially if you're using a double special build, and if you don't have the crafting recipe unlocked your first Other Half drop will always be a red border, and you only need one to unlock the recipe.
man, 23 resets on zavala, i just want an auto loading EL hothead, i got, not 1, not 2, but at least 3 different god rolls for each god roll avaliable in this fucking rocket laucher: 4 field prep el (2 with impact 2 with alloy) 3 field prep clown (all with impact) 3 demo clown (all impact) 9 demo EL (half with impact, rest with black powder and alloy)
FYI: in case youre not willing to farm crucible for riptide (which is understandable), you can get aurvandil fr6 as a world drop. it's a high impact frame so the charge time is slower but that could be fixed with a charge time masterwork. the roll you'd be looking for is reconstruction and chill clip.
You can get the immortal SMG from Trials I've never done trials but I noticed one of the weapons you can get is the Immortal now I've heard some weapons have different versions but I thought it was a raid weapon
Just so you know when the other half drops from the chest it is a guaranteed red border if you don’t already have it crafted. On top of that it only takes one red border to craft
The drop rate for The Other Half is garbage (unless you already have it, then it’s common), but it’s a guaranteed deepsight when it does. p.s. Ammit is part of the crafting questline along with Taipan (assuming it wasn’t removed).
Solid list with really good weapons but IMO if you’re a “solo” D2 player and you’re not using LFG to run raids or dungeons i don’t know what to tell you dawg
most people use riptide for utility over damage, and since its archetype is faster, it will stun champions faster as well. i see why u would like the aurvandil over riptide still

I have dropped one the other half and it was red border. Every one of my friends has received it this week and all of theirs was also red border. I wonder if you just got very unlucky lol. If not, what is the mathematical statistic behind the red border drop

I've basically given up on a Riptide with Chill Clip. I'm already not a big fan of Crucible (Yes, PvP ain't my strong suit), and I recently got an Aurvandil FR6 with Reconstruction/Chill Clip. Not the same thing, especially because of the high-impact frame, but it works fine.
Bruh... hothead does NOT randomly drop from Zavala. You have to get it from nightfalls WHEN IT IS IN ROTATION. Also, the Other Half Sword is a guaranteed red-border drop.
The Amit and Taipan are craft able and are obtained just by doing Witch Queen C4afting Quest. Please mention is its craft able so new lights or lost players can actually get one instead o vaguely telling them where to get it.
I would advise trying to get lfg’s together to try raids and or dungeons as they are great experiences and many community discord allow for easy lfg. Pls try raids they are great.

I’m glad someone mentioned this perk combo, I got it during the Guardian Games and it’s been my go-to Scout Rifle for its utility alone.
Subsistence/incandescent bug out bag was super helpful to me when i was doing shattered throne solo for the first time.

Aurvandil FR6 over riptide. It’s high impact frame and can roll with chill clip and reconstruction. More damage overall.

Riptide is used to stun champs, not overall Dmg. In GM's, you'll be dead before you get a shot off with the Aur.

Can you get all these weapons without any dlc?
For regnant you will need the season pass of season of defiance and for the smg you will need the season pass for season of the deep

You can get the bxr, the other half, night watch, hung jury, hothead, ammit ar2 and taipan
