This would be perfect for me. A 620 is a little too small and an 820 a little too heavy for my truck. But the 620 has the ratchet straps which would make loading and unloading easier for a 60+ couple.
That's an impressive camper and I especially like that jacuzzi soaking tub conversion they managed to fit into that bathroom - outstanding engineering! I also like the fact that the shell is bulletproof - excellent feature!!
Good camper. PJ does a pretty good job I just wish she would cut out the superfluous extra talk. You can improve the sell of your product by cutting right to the point and shortening the video. The video length at 25+ minutes. Playback at 1.5x speed helped but 1x she speaks too slowly. Trying to give constructive criticism. Want to see more of the Cirrus line as it looks like a high-mid end product.
Please do a video of the loading onto the truck bed. For me, the ease or difficulty would be my deciding factor to go “truck camper” vs “small towed trailer”. Or even a class-B van conversion. Also the 29 grand price added to the truck price totals up to a pretty expensive rig.
We should do a video like that someday! In the mean time, there are lots of videos on loading truck campers on UA-cam. Taylor.... sorry, I forgot his last name, has an excellent channel, and a truck camper loading video. See if a search brings his video up. Good luck!
Any chance they are going to offer the cassette toliet system on the 920? Would make the 920 an AWESOME boondocking camper👍 Thats about the only thing holding me back on the 920😈
You may have noticed the Froli system used (at least) in their bigger models. That's probably one of the best systems for sleep comfort as well as bed hygiene when it comes to venting the mattress. If this was available for this model, I wouldn't hesitate a second.
I like you to give as the price with the video and then talk about the options and how the price could change with that, good videos tho i like your video and the walk around the campers .
Very nice. I am looking for something that will slide in a Toyota Tacoma. What campers do you have or recommend for my application/Toyota Tacoma? Thank you.
The problem is there is NO possibility to get this truck camper in Germany. I would buy one as soon as possible. In Germany there is no truck camper which is similar to the CIRRUS line. Please get in contact.
It's a difficult time to work out international shipping, but we have actually shipped truck campers all over the world. If you would like further information on how that works, you'll need to talk with Steve, our sales manager. Give him a call at 1(512) 251-4536.
That mattress looks a little wimpy...what size is it in case I want to replace it with something thicker? You said it was queen sized...60x80 or shorty RV queen? Is a compressor refrig an option? Is that rear side storage compartment large enough for a Honda 2000 generator? You didn't mention, unless I missed it, batteries...one or two and is lithium an option? Otherwise...best combination of features of any truck camper now.
I think only 1 battery 1-20lblpg. 820/920 doubles and support rear bumper mount generator. only 920could install cummins onan gen in a lockable storage.
Lithium is always an option, as is solar on the roof or plug-in solar. Lithium saves you tons of weight and increases autonomy greatly. What you will need is a charger, that is capable of a AGM charge characteristic. Make sure the battery comes with a suitable built-in battery monitoring system (BMS) - which is widely common. Believe it or not, in a camper of that size, power consumption can be so low you won't need a generator, once you have 200 - 300 Wp solar on the roof, a nice MPPT charge controller and around 200 Ah of lithium. Add a charging booster to modern alternators and that little power station will be filled up to the brim in less than 4 hours drive - or will be full by noon by solar. It all depends on your demands and typical use.
What kind of batteries does this have? I didn’t see anything about storage in the cab over. I’m assuming I’ll have to try to find one used. I don’t see a 2021 video of this model.
The 720 was only made for a year because it was too heavy for 1/2 tons. The 620 took its place but your right, it’s a little small for some people. With a bigger truck, the 820 is the next size up.
I don't like the wood pattern I definitely choose another wood pattern if I if I ever get a driver's license I sure want a nice fancy big truck and a nice fancy camper I don't think I would buy a triple slide even though I like them I would be afraid of leaks
We have seen these campers shipped to customers all over the world. This particular unit isn't currently in production, but there are some in places like the Middle East, South Korea, etc. Often the purchaser will work with a US based dealership and arrange for shipping themselves. They will also be responsible for any paperwork, taxes, and registration procedures associated with bringing something like this into their home country. So, yes, it is possible! And, yes... we got it. It's good.
Do you know if Cirrus has plans to build a long bed model in this floorplan with more capacity? (microwave, oven, larger fridge w/freezer, opening stargazer window, bathroom sink, pass-thru window, generator, another battery & propane tank) Basically a 920 except with the 720 floorplan.
