I had a F150 four door it's payload was 1700lbs. that leaves no room for the weight of the driver and passenger plus gear traded it off for a F250 payload 3330lbs.
Will the refrigerator run on the propane tank?
At 1700 lbs dry weight there are very few 1/2tons that can carry that payload. I wish dealers would finally realize that dry weight means nothing. Stop lying to customers and explain that wet weight is what’s important. No one camps at dry weight with no water, food, clothing, etc.
The weight of people are included in that math as well. That is one of the reasons I went with the 620 instead of the 820.
Can my truck carry the 820? Sure. I have a payload capacity of 3800 but starting at a dry weight of 2800, then add water and propane and we are over 3k. Now add people, gear and everything else and I am approaching my capacity. I could still do it very likely but I would much rather have too much truck for the camper I have than have just enough and squeak in under capacity
I had the same thought on carry capacity. Will it fit a 3/4 ton?

Can you access the ratchet straps from inside the camper? Otherwise I'm not sure how you tighten them once the camper is in the bed.
