I really appreciate them putting toilets and showers in these campers
Yes
Showers are nice but overrated, just give the toilet lol
@@nedaCFilmsI dunno, you might be in the minority on the shower being over rated... Ijs.
What a well done, informative video! There was no, “We do this and our competition doesn’t” crap, every two seconds. The product speaks for itself and it does that well. It’s a beautiful coach and the person who did the walk-through did an amazing job just giving the information without a lot of unnecessary fluff. If I were buying a truck camper, I’d definitely get this one. It’s beautiful. And I would buy it from this young man who did the walk through because you can tell that they ACTUALLY DO the prep and check for the new owner. Well done!
Edit:…Had to come back to say that, “Wow! They answer all the commenters questions too!!”
Thank you for the kind words and for checking out the video!
Not really all that informative at all...Panning the camera to the microwave and pointing out "this is the microwave" or panning to the switches and saying "these are the switches" isn't informative. Are the cabinets chipboard or 7 ply birch is informative. Are the faucets plastic or chrome plated brass is informative. Wet weight would be informative. Tank sizes would be informative. What is up with all the aluminum L channel covering most exterior seams would be informative. Refrig size would be informative.
Hey James, we'll get better. We are just now getting into the video walkthroughs, thanks for the feedback.
@@SouthlandrvatlantaYou have the important parts down. Video is nice, steady, slow. Voice is great. Lighting in the area you shot is perfect. Lots of good things that are missing in other product videos. Remember, we can see everything you video so no real need to point out we are looking at a stove, sink, toilet or shower. Explain what our eyes are missing because we aren't physically there. Feature/benefit sort of stuff, the construction we can't see, etc. Good luck!!
Southland RV I appreciate that they show where everything is located.
Agreeing with an earlier comment security locks on the outside service access compartments would be something to think about.
I’m not even looking into getting a truck camper, I’m more interested in a full motorhome, but that interior design is beautiful. I love that kind of space shuttle interior vibe
Consider a nucamp 2024 920 model. It's got the futuristic design with a dry bath.
That locking swing out hand rail over the back door could be a problem (unless I missed something)
If you are inside with the door shut and someone walking buy shuts it to the latched for travel position you are locked inside until someone else lets you out. May be good holding it against the body while driving but its a crisis waiting to happen, right? haha
I think the outside compartment doors should be lockable & made out of the same materials as the camper for a seamless & cohesive look.
Dillion has given one of the best walkthroughs I’ve seen 👍
Love the windows, the colors inside and all the storage areas especially the little ones that would otherwise be dead space
Beautiful, but the non-locking exterior compartments are concerning.
We'll see how NuCamp responds the the non-locking doors. They are generally very good with customer feedback. Thanks for checking out the video!
Roy G Biv yeah but let’s be honest, it’s a truck camper. If people really want to get in, they will.
99% of campers and trailers and boats use the exact same key and cut on the compartments... the CH751
Buy a magnet and add your own steel slide bolts.
Anj Gord Correct. You can get the lock assemblies and convert them to the same key as the door lock. Of course there is a limited number of those keys too. Note the shotgun storage on each side of the bed. Hee hee
That dinette collapses into a single bed, I'm sold
Wow they fit so much usefulness into such a small space
Great design and beautiful finishes but the battery compartment and inverter storage area is not accessible once mounted in the truck
Certainly has eye appeal. Just wish the underbed window was large enough that i could scoot inside my truck and drive off if needed. Wonder about road sway motion stability on any truck camper.
A very nice unit. Just a few things you need with it. All the power outputs need to be able to be turned off. I am not sure if your forward battery compartment is accessible once the unit is married to your truck. All outside doors need good locks. I would double your battery capacity. And I would add solar panels to the roof. The unit is filled with power hungry devices. I would also obtain spares, like the door screen etc. Many thanks for sharing this with us. Kind regards and greetings from Africa.
Yet in Africa you live in a tent and shit in a hole in the ground 🤔
This is so cool! Excellent walkthrough as well. 1M views in 2 weeks means this is a winning camper design. Very nice
Excellent! An absolute perfect tiny space, beautifully interegated necessities.
amazing design! the best i ve ever seen given its size!
Beautifull camper but the outside compartments should be lockable.
@Robert Ott Theft happens ffs.
Maybe / Maybe not , but they do need to be positive locking.
@Robert Ott when tf is someone stealing your shit not a possibility?
@Mike Smith Dang! Now that's jacked up
@Robert Ott from people like you
would have been nice to see the inside of the refrigerator
Would suggest modifying bedside cabinets into TWO doors instead of one large. Been difficult opening with bedding.
Also space above door needs to be a shelf. We use a shower curtain adjustable rod - same as used in fridge - to hold our spices! Many, many miles and different terrain nothing fell.
All campers and trailer are built to be as light as possible because they have to be moved. This means the road which is very bumpy shakes and vibrates them continuously damaging the unit. They don't last long so be prepared to fix things.
I'm gonna weigh in on the auto-legless awning. In our last camper, a very high end wide body Mercedes, the awning failed so many times that we lost confidence in it and didn't use it. The worst was that the clutch failed which allowed it to self deploy which could obviously be disastrous on the road. We replaced the clutch twice under warranty when the manufacturer issued a recall notice stating the clutch they were using was faulty and they would be sending and upgraded clutch which they did but even so, after installing it, we barely ever used it. The worst feature IMO of a legless awning is that it's very wind sensitive so that when it's needed the most, ie in extremely sunny conditions, even the lightest puff of breeze would cause it to retract, again making it virtually useless. I vowed that if we were to keep the camper for any length of time I would go with a mechanical awning that anchors to the side of the camper or ground. Sadly, a major life change has caused me to sell the camper and reconsider how I'll move forward with that lifestyle in the future. Happy camping.
The only thing that is a bit of design issue is the horizontal storage lockers by the bed. Closing these cabinets would be hampered by your bed covers.
No slides is a huge plus to me. Just a perfect two person quality built camper.
I love this one! Single “older” female here 😉. I’d live in that when I retire! Travel and see the states! LOVE IT!
Thanks for the clear review on the overall feature set. I have some questions/suggestions which Cirrus may take into consideration:
- Why is it that truck camper manufacturers always neglects to install a small washing machine (under the sink perhaps)? I've been looking around at various designs and this is the biggest missing link (besides a composting toilet). Its like them microwave ovens: not an absolute necessity but definitely a great convenience that doesn't cost much at all.
- None of the manufacturers I've seen so far, uses induction cookers. Induction cookers would be able to use battery electric & hence "cleaner" solar systems; plus it will minimize fire hazards and gas leakage poisoning within confined spaces. Of course, you could still carry along the LPG tanks for any outdoor BBQs or as backup.
- Lastly, you should make all external cabinets lockable - more so to prevent bears or pesky animals from messing around rather than as a (weak) deterrent for human trespassers.
@@andrewsneacker1256 1. Washing machine is for clothes not dishes. I’m sure that you, a non-lazy non American, washes all clothes by hand…
Not crazy about rear diamond plate steps. They will be slick as anything in rainy weather. Will need to add traction pads which may not stick well with raised surface. Also molded storage doors are not insulated which hurts cold weather protection for anything stored. Interior is very nice.
The side window screen and shade are upside down. Well, if it was me, I’d want to pull the shade down, so I could partially pull it down if the sun was low in the sky, here you’d have to pull it all the way up, which isn’t great. The screen it doesn’t really matter which way up bit it does with the shade.
@Steve Page lol, I would rather have the screen from the bottom. My wife likes to be naked when she's in the camper, so lookie loos can only see her head or shoulders, half or 3/4ths of the shade being up.
Cool for me, sad for the loos, lol.
How far would the drop to the ground be from the large acrylic window, in case some jokester decided to close the back door handrail and lock you in?
Why am I looking to buy a house🤷♂️ I'm a single guy, I should just get this for my truck 😂. This camper looks so nice
@@TeeBoot I had the same issue when I owned a 1200 sqft home, that was too big for me. I went years without even going into some rooms 😂. I'm really tempted to do it
No, grass is always greener. Too much space is better than finding out too late you have too little. Living in an RV, especially a tiny one like this would be such a pain in the butt after the newness wore off. Constantly looking for a place to stay, juggling power, water and sewage, not to mention moving between temporary campsites vs basically parking in a longer term trailer park. Life and commitments will keep nearly everyone from being able to ‘live the dream’ of limitless travel setups like this falsely promise.
Setups like this require a very specific type of person to make it work as sole their residence. Even then, everyone I know of who tried it, out of necessity, or out of dissatisfaction, ended up with a permanent accommodation within a few months or a year. I like campers, I definitely wouldn’t go this small. I’d go class c and get a dedicated van with the overcab sleeper and boxed rear, but it sure as hell won’t be my primary residence. I feel like a lot of the allure of living in a camper is a result of becoming weary of people. Feeling trapped and stuck in an urban or suburban area. The solution to that is get out. I bought an old farm in the country and the peace, lack of noise, neighbors, room for a workshop and projects showed me the light. I like traveling as well, so I’m in the process of acquiring a project RV to supplement that desire. I just don’t delude myself that doing it full time is doable, or would remain enjoyable for more than a week or two.
@@neobaggins3718 I agree 👍
Well, said!!!
@@neobaggins3718 yet there's people that do it full time. That find it doable and love it.
I love the door and bumper. But you forgot to show where you hook you tanks exhaust pipe
Love Nucamps aesthetics and utilization of space. Just wish they had something between these micro campers and their mastodon Avia
3300 lbs I would recommend a 1 ton single rear wheel that’s a bit heavy for a 3/4 ton truck
First thing I thought, too.
How can you enter the front battery cabinet if you need to do some electrical repair if the front end of the Cirrus 820 is pushed up all the way into the front of the truck bed?
That’s the biggest error early camper, RV, trailer... they always had dark wood and colors. Makes it look smaller and more stuff... lighter is the way to go.
Great wet shower. Thought the wall mounted pivoting TV was a great feature. Nice LED in the outside rear exterior. That was a fun walk through.
I've owned a couple rv units with laminated sidewalls and there no big thing after 4 or 5 years the seams come apart i would still rather have a corrugated metal exterior but this is still very nice but you don't have to pay 40k or more for a good quality truck cabin
9:45 mins in and we’re finally inside...
Thank you
😅 thank you!
Thank u
Jesus i played it at double speed
Amazed how poorly done so many of these rv videos are.
very nice presentation. The one thing I am seeing on watching these slide in camper for trucks. Is the over all height of vehicle and slide in. I drove the big trucks across country for 14 years. It was important to know total height from pavement to top. I do realize a 2500 Ram or Chevy or Ford will be of different heights. Just a thought. Perhaps a bottom of floor to top
of camper. Then I could determine the total height with my 2500 Chev 4x4.
What happens if someone puts the bar over the door while your inside.... how would you get out
electric panel next to steam source? needs stainless splash panel to the right of stove.
For those of you who didn't catch it, the automatic light failed and turned back on after closing the wardrove at 10:50
This is the first modern-design truck camper that I really like! My question is, do they make a similar design for long-bed trucks? I have an older F-350 dually, and a Lance camper that is getting a bit long in the tooth. The truck is in great shape, not so the camper that came with it. So many of the larger campers have slide-outs, and I DON'T want that! I'm tempted to visit your dealership, because you obviously go the extra mile for your customers. Thank you.
Suggestion...great video, but what we want to see of the interior FIRST is the broad, overall view -- how expansive and nice it is on the inside! Instead, you went from tight closeup to tight closeup...this switch, this cabinet, this door, etc. Show first the "Look at this huge interior space!" view, and Then go to the little details...
Next time I will!
Mike Riesco Ike why are you telling someone else how to film his own video? If you don’t want to see outside first just fast forward to where he starts filming the in side?
Howard Manley
LoL 😂... I was thinking 🤔 the exact same thing . 🇺🇸FFG 🇺🇸
@@howardmanley3388 Your solution to that guy is so simple it's absolutely funny LOL
Yep it was driving me crazy..
Big BROAD SHOT first please
This a true 4 season camper? All plumbing interior? Insulation? wanted to see front window open too kinda unique
No oven. I need that. Rest is nice
I've seen tiny pots that sit on the stove and circulate heat so they cook like a tiny oven. They're shaped oddly though. I've considered getting a toaster oven but don't want to deal with storing it.
Great camper. Has everything that is needed. Be a little cramped with 2 people. Not bad for a truck camper that has no slides. These truck campers have come a long way. At one time it was just a box on the bed of a pickup
Does the fridge have a freezer?
One thing I really don't like is all the automatic lights stuff, the electronic reading for tanks, not only does it waste power cause something on these things is always running but when they fail it is expensive
This looks really sharp and well-made. I wonder why some of the storage compartments open up and down and others to the side. I prefer the latter-it’s a pain to have to duck under the door to load and unload things. It’d be good if the doors locked as well.
I came down here to see if anybody else had commented first but I can't get past the locks, so I'm just going to say I hope there's a way to turn off that automatic light when you open the door thing. Because sometimes you don't want a light coming on in the interior.
I love this style for solo camping trips or just road trips.
You need a three burner stove. One for the main dish, side and third for veggies or something. Can’t do two.
Nice rig.
Rxonmymind a regular Coleman stove has two, my hubs made amazing meals on it.
Thing is bad ass and looks super cozy!
This is a perfect size for my 2 and half ton to pull a boat. I gotta have a big fridge /freezer
I have the 2012 FB86 Adventurer and it has basically the biggest Fridg at 6 CF ...... very important. The weight has increased to about 2800lbs vs my 2300lb but it's a nice rig for my 8ft bed. I installed a Hellwig anti sway bar on my 2018 Ram one ton 3500 and it made a huge difference. No slide outs for me.
How are the batteries accessed once the camper is installed within the bed of a truck?
I know the stock inverter won't supply the AC but do you offer an upgraded inverter that could handle an AC with an installed EasyStart soft starter? If so will that also require some rewiring or is the AC connected in some way to the inverter?
is it a convection micro and is there any space for generator?
I like 5he camper but: The battery/inverter placement not so good...if you have a problem during travel or you just want to see how your inverter is doing.
When showing propane tank, show what type of connection you use, especially c ially interested to see if you have the switch one and show how easy or difficult it is to change tanks.
I can tell you from my camper it is a pain, i wonder if they improved on that
How tall is the shower area? How about interior headroom? Really calm, pleasant color scheme!
Dual lock for the rear door, but no locks for the compartments on the side?
What size is the bed?
One very small suggestion for the end of upper cabinet, they should add a small open shelf on either side. Very handy to put a flashlight, phone, pen or whatever nicnac would otherwise be in the way right next to mattress
Hi, beatifulb piece of work but what about monies, how much it cost. .thks
Fist issue with screen door , as soon as on camp the dog runs right through it .
So 1/2 door and 1/2 screen would help
Would rather have a truck with this camper than a long narrow van
Great job, refreshing to see a US manufacturer make a truck camper that does not look like it was made in the 70's, groovy baby yeah! I just purchased an F 150 w a 6.5 foot bed. Will check my pay load, but this looks a bit too heavy unfortunately.
We agree, they did a great job. Thanks for checking it out!
i took a shot of Jack every time he said "cool"--passed out by 10 min
Well done. Very articulate and professional work Dillon. I subscribed because of your presentation.
I don’t like the propane set up. You have to take out the front one to replace the inner one right?
To anyone who buys one of these, I suggest you
1. Don't store anything valuable in the external storage compartments because they don't lock.
2. Remove the handrail on the door or possibly be trapped inside.
3. Don't have any battery issues in-transit because the camper battery is in the absolute worst possible place it could be.
And you will end up replacing the 3 way fridge with a $1,000-$2,000 + compressor fridge. A 3 way doesn't work very well in high altitudes, Truck has to be perfectly level, in hot weather the fridge cools down and your food spoils. I heard that Pleasure Way will be replacing the 3 way fridge. Just trying to spare you some grief and $. Check what RVers are saying, "She to Me" " Simply RVing" etc.
love it. very compact and everything in there. The only thing I would like to see for the master bed to be able to convert to 2 beds as option al.
How would be able to get of the camper if you are inside and the door gets locked by the fiama door guard by someone or by wind if not locked? And what if there is a fire that takes place inside the camper that cannot be controlled and the door is closed shut by the fiama door handle?
The low water drain awesome!
How much rear overhang is there? Would want to pull a trailer while hauling this so I'd need a hitch extension
So if you need to access the battery you need to slide it out? Did the engineers leave complimentary lick marks on the windows too?
Hahhahaahahshhs
What kind of truck would I need for one of these? I'm going to come buy one after I find a good used truck.
Would like to see someone actually use all the space or options for these units. You could have a hanging bed setup outside underneath the front and really you could have a raised platform for the top. One that could be used for vsrious things for outdoor sleeping and more in right weather conditions.
I loove the daylight leds!!
Can the refrigerator door be set to open from either side and and is a handle available available for it? Need to think of people with disabilities who have service dogs who help them.
Not sure why companies continue using daylight/bluish LED lighting instead of warm white?
Because it's what the masses of people want.
That blue ish tint.
I happen to like it. It's also easier on the eyes I think.
@@timschutte6924 the bluish tint is actually not easier on the eyes. They've done studies on it.
.
As for daylight style, which is less blue, when done properly, it's a lot like daylight, which really messes up the body's day/night cycle stuff. Again, studies.
@@InfernosReaper Our eyes have not evolved to the bright white/ blueish light. Just look at the sun. Kind of yellowish. Warm white works better. People think bright white is brighter than it is because it hurts their eyes.
Fools.
Appreciate add some pricing at the end of the vedio that helps the viewers have some ideas yo move forward, thanks.
One of the best walkthroughs I've watched. I've subbed and look forward to more content. Thanks
We appreciate the support! More videos going live soon :)
Yes, it was good showed what I wanted to see simple and to the point without crazy nonsense.
very nice unit and they do an amazing job getting the most out of the available space ,but, sorry to say, the camera makes it look much bigger, when you go look in person you will be surprised how small it really is.
I like it but what is the weight and price
Very nice high quality whats the price
Does Cirrus make a similar camper for a mid size truck...i.e. like a Nissan Frontier Crew Cab?
Ok just a thought. What happens when you have battery issues and you can't get to it because it's buried in the bed of your truck? These are nice campers but the people who plan then most likely have never used one. I see flaws all over this camper. Having used truck campers for 40 years I would love to do a review on one of these.
What camper can i put on 2022 jeep gladatior willys?
I luv that can I put that on my Ford F-150 EV truck when I get it
Schöne Details, besonders erwähnenswert ist die Verteilung des Gewichts🏋️♂️ zwischen den Achsen...👍
I love these truck campers. I can't figure out how you can have a "basement" - if your batteries, etc. are tucked in that compartment, and you have to reach them, but camper is inside cab - looks like you would have to remove the camper from the cab just to do that?
First thing I noticed, I thought that was an awful design. Yeah let me pull my entire camper out of the bed of my truck just to replace the battery or do repairs.
I dont know if I missed it.... weight? coat as pictured? how small a pickup wouls it fit... Tacoma?
Very nice! I'd LOVE to have one of these!
Would that fiamma handle at the front door allow someone to lock you inside your own camper? Or is there an override from inside?
Thank you!! That is the first thing I thought of when I saw it. Looks like you could be trapped in there if someone wanted to close you up on there lol. Kinda scary actually. Someone else also pointed out that there are no locks on the door to be able to lock it up while you're in it for security. Maybe it's just hard to see
Amy Fender lol wow I didn’t even notice that
@@deannutz8102 I didn't notice the no locks on the doors inside either. Another commenter pointed that out. I am really surprised. Of course I have always tent camped and we never had locks on our tents. We did have what we needed to take care of business if someone came in intending harm though so I always felt pretty secure lol.
What trucks would fit and can haul this fully loaded with no issues? Any suggestions?
Overall I really like camper.
However Another concern I have is the legs...they do not look very strong
Why did the canopy beep for low battery if the camper was on shore power?
Great video, I only wish it would fit my 2019 Silverado 1500 crew cab 4x4.
I seen the Cirrus 650, but I like the 850 better. I can see my wife and I traveling around the country in the 850. I might have to look into a 3/4 ton. Any suggestions
I'm waiting for Nucamp to come out with a truck camper for a 1500 series pickup
The 620 is made for a 1/2 ton truck . . .
This a small house this a good way to beat rent hear that California
A years rent upfront not that cheap...$8,000 to $10,000 for this upscale dog house
No way to lock all those storage compartments?
Everything sounded pretty good until you mentioned the 3 way fridge that so many RV'rs complain about. For me it's a deal breaker. Why are RV companies not listening to RVers!? The answer is usually, "Well no one has complained to us about the 3 way fridge" Yeah right.
