Wow! Stunning timepiece! Thank you for the review. I am a sucker for these vintage-inspired divers so this watch instantly caught my eye when I saw it. I love almost everything about this watch, however I do wish there was a 6 o’clock date window and better lume. Overall, very well done Baltic!
Nice review of a beautiful watch that I have my eyes on for a while already. It's gorgeous, I'm sure it's going to be on my wrist before this year is half over. Btw, scaphandrier is the French word for diver or deep sea diver, used in the fifties and sixties for professional divers, so the name is no coincidence at all.
Thanks! I presume you speak French?
@@crisoclock Actually, I don't, really; I think I heard it explained in an interview with Etienne Malec, the founder of the brand, or otherwise from one of the many other reviews.
A bientôt!
Hard one! 😊 I love seiko watches as well but I’d say this one looks a little more vintagey that the Seiko. The glass looks a little nicer on this watch imo. Take care
Super compliqué 🫣 Je prend note our la SkinDiver!
My opinion is that Squale is much better in terms of finish, has a Swiss Longines-level mechanism. Swiss made. The price is only 100 euros higher. This is a real diver with a rich history, now it used by Italian special forces.
Hi there! Yes the Squale is great but it ain't 100 euros more (at least as of right now - I can hardly find it under 1000euro vs this aquascaphe that costs 600euro or less (with the silicon strap). That is a steep price difference. Other than that, if you have the budget, it sure is a better watch. Take care
Well, for example when I go swimming I keep it on to know the time. And then I shower. I am not filthy am I? Normally I don’t but I sometimes forget when in a hurry. You can rince off the watch and even wash it off - that’s the contrary of dirty no? Don’t know that it’s a problem or at least it wasn’t for me for many many years with a lot of watches 👍🏼
Bought mine back in 2019 when the second production batch became available, no regrets
Awesome!

Yes - very nice watch indeed!
Hear ya on the date and lume - I agree with you
Looks great on your wrist/arm. Colour matches perfectly with the tattoos.
Thanks!
Beautiful watch, thanks for the video. I did not know much about Baltic
My pleasure!
I have the blue bronze and a lot of patina to it. Love it. It’s only there when you need it
That’s awesome 😎
Thank you. Looking at getting one of these this year. Just purchased the orange Doxa Sub200 and looking at the Mido as well!
Nice! 😊 it’s indeed a great piece 😉
Thank you for the review!
Black strap on a navy dial/bezel would be a fashion sin for me, though
Hey there - thanks!
TBH i had that thought but seeing it in real life it doesn’t look that bad. That said, i agree with you! Take care
Love my aquascaphe, just put it on the ricd of bead bracelet and its amazing!
Agreed!
Looks amazing, great substitute for a Rado Captain Cook
True!
Good enough for desk diving
😊 indeed
I love the 39 diameter but wish the lug to lug was 45 instead of 47. But regardless amazing review!
I agree! Thanks and take care

I see! Well thanks for confirming that 😉 take care
Nice review. Good job!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Bonjour !
A bientôt!
@ Merci
Good job. Nice wacht. I love tropic strap
Thanks!
Would you choose it over the Seiko blue alpinist?
Hard one! 😊

Awesome watch and review. Keep it up!!
Thanks mate
Another great video! What strap are you using with your bronze Hamilton?
Thanks mate. It’s a custom made leather strap 😎
How do you compare this against the Echo/Neutra Cortina 1956?
I haven’t looked into the neutra cortina yet - I’ll check it out!
Better than Oris diver sixty five for less money?
No - i have a special place in my heart for the divers 65 😊
It’s great for the price but i don’t think it can compare. Take care!

6.4 inches is not 17.5 cm my guy. It's 16.25 cm. So either your wrist is actually like mine (6.8 inches) or smaller?
Am around 17cm (my guy - lmfao)
The bigger problem here tho: why are inches still a thing? lol 😂
@@crisoclock I Agree :D Imperial units should have never been a thing
I want one so bad!
I understand 💯!! 😉💪🏼
Mince Chris.
They have combined water and bathyscaphe and they came up with that name
👍🏼
7:24 Why would I shower with a watch? They're not made for that, and it's filthy because one wants to clean oneself.
Well, for example when I go swimming I keep it on to know the time. And then I shower. I am not filthy am I?
