Our visit to Canterbury, Kent, UK - April 2022

This was our first visit to Canterbury. We decided to take the week off before Easter - which was also our 3 year anniversary!
It's a stunning city, full of, character, history and beautiful buildings.
Our favourite things we did in Canterbury were:
- Punting: where you relax on a small narrow boat and are pushed along through the winding rivers & canals of the city!
- Canterbury Cathedral: We were blown away by now vast and stunning this was, well worth a visit!
- Eating & Drinking: We went to some amazing places, the best value for both food and drink was The Penny Theatre pub. The best food we had was at The Veg Box Café!
Summary: We had a great short break to Canterbury. Our hotel was pretty basic but had parking and was in a great location 10-15mins walk from city center! We loved seeing the sights, were blessed with some lovely weather and it wasn't too crowded. Celebrating our 3 year anniversary here was perfect - oh and West Ham smashed Lyon away, 3-0, to get to the Europa League Semi Final too! COYI
