I don't know what Heir's real name is but I bet it is CHAD because he is the real MVP,. Top drawer commentary, good insights, real chill narration and 10 videos while he is on vacation. We salute you sir.
When I saw the units' card, I couldn't even imagine how Galatia could pull off a victory with that few infantry units. Hotel Soap is truly a great player.
It's interesting because it seems like both the Iceni and Galatian player might have expected different armies from one another in this battle. The Iceni player clearly expected a lot of Galatian legionaries and I kinda think that the Galatian player expected a lot more Iceni cavalry. That's what the two army compositions suggest to me, at least. Fun battle. The destruction of the Ambushers early on in this battle turned the tide in the Galatians' favor and the Iceni were never really able to alter the momentum of the battle from that point on. GG to both players and thanks to Heir for sharing this battle.
To be fair to the Iceni, they were put in a pretty difficult position being at the bottom of that big hill. Would've liked to have seen an east vs west matchup on this map.

The Iceni ought to have been a more cavalry focused barbarian faction
That was how they fought according to Caesar
Cavalry or chariots? As far as I remember they made good use of chariots but I don't remember much about cavalry usage by them.

Thank you for the video!
Well, the Iceni player had micro as "good" as I have. So he was doomed.
Nice battle! The Iceni player should have paid more atention to his ambushers.
Cool battle a lot of crazy maneuvers
Galatian Noblemen are overpriced and underpowered, two cost 2300. Just bring Galatian Legionaries. Three cost 2400.
My favourite faction, Iceni!
Chariots would have turned the tide aha, maybe😅
Chosen sword band are a very, very bad version of Tribal Warriors, unfortunately.
Without the massive armor, they have they just don’t stack up
If you want to see what Rome 2 could have been, you just need to look at the DEI mod
