Thanks for making this video. I know it's a year later but I'm just starting to learn Dolby Atmos mixing and your content is extremely helpful. I noticed the Dolby Atmos Integrated loudness was different than the Binaural Integrated loudness. Do they both have to be -18 LKFS or lower?
I mix Atmos is logic. But I like the workflow from the Assembler. Do you miss the Apple Renderer to listen to how it sounds on Apple Music?
The Atmos mixes sounded better as they were before you adjusted the tonal balance 😂😂 honestly
Hi Alex, can you essentially PQ encode on this assembler? So example could I in theory make a segued album and then re-render the ADM deliverables by setting the start and end points at a different point from the original ADM mix. Hope that's clear! Thanks :)
I guess what I'm saying js, it's not clear whether you can adjust/trim the audio in the assembler. Best
Hay Alex would be great if you could just the length of the stereo in the Assembler also.. Not sure why they did not allow this .. some stereo material comes with added time and it would be nice to trim it along side the Atmos mix.

Thank you for all of your videos, how are you monitoring this when doing this matching process? Are you monitoring in Atmos or stereo?
When matching the stereo tonality, I monitor the 2.0 fold-down from the Atmos Renderer.

Noble friend what are the dimensions of your mixing room? Do you have the Dolby certificate? and what is your monitoring, are your monitors all the same? I started assembling my 7.1.4 !! I got support from the folks at Dolby Latin America.

My studio is certified with Dolby. I have a 7.1.4 using B&W 801 with DANTE amps.

Hi Alex, to make atmos mix do we need mastered stems?

Both Dolby an Binaural mix have to be at -18 luks -1 peak right?
Not necessarily only pay attention to the Dolby integrated loudness

What about the one that comes with Nuendo is that a good investment or would you just buy Dolby atmos by it's self as a stand alone.
That stereo mix is so softclipped anything will sound better...
Do not master Dolby atmos track it is not necessary it is not stereo track
