Don't know if something changed in Logic since this video but you can't get the export ADM BWF option unless you turn off any plug BEFORE the Atmos plug. Stays greyed out unless you turn off limiter in this example for me.
I never found a response to this and had to use the Dolby album assembler (which requires the Dolby renederer if you want to hear anything) to feel confident that distrokid, Apple Music, etc would accept the mixes to meet to release date. Both Dolby apps had a 30-day trial but this is another thing on the “how can we make things as difficult and expensive as possible Spatial Audio creators while trying to get our proprietary format adopted as the new standard and make like a gajillion $ from licensing?” list
Thank you for this content. It’s amazing. Question! How do you ensure that the length of the stereo master is the same duration as the ADM BWF master file for distribution?
Many thanks for this tutorial. I have a few questions for you : - I would like to check my Atmos mix out of Logic, how can you do that ? (in my headphones, on my 7.1.2 setup) - I want to sell my Atmos piece on my own site ; how can you do that ? what format have to be used so the user can profit of Atmos on his phone, on his Mac, on his PC, on his 7.1.2 TV setup ? - I have bounce with "surround" selected ; the app "music"won't import it ! - On Dolby site they speak of MP4 and you need to buy the "Dolby renderer" - Do you have experience with MIR PRO 3D, can you make a tutorial with Atmos and it ? Thanks in advance for your help
Great video! Which of the export would play correct Atmos format if trying to listen through consumer Atmos system? or is this even possible? Would Apple TV playback the 1st exported audio on such system? Clearly not the ADM BWF file right?
wow..incredible difference in volume after exporting mix in ADM BWF compared to straight stereo wavs I had to turn my mac volume right up to get to a normal peak level, is that normal?
Thank you so much! An issue that I have, if anyone can help, is that in my Logic (10.8.1) the plugins are only available in 7.1.4 and not in 7.1.2, so if I put them before the Atmos plugin I can't export an ADM file. Any help will be SO appreciated!
When I export a project as a ADM BWF file, it exports it to a .wav file, but when I import it back in, it is just a single "master.wav file, no tracks?
Great series!! I'm a newbie in ATMOS and your videos were very, very helpful! Thanks from Brazil.

GREAT series! Just one question, Can we "conform and sync the Atmos files with the stereo reference files" from within Logic Pro?
This!

This a goated video thanks🙏
Hey Chris, would you mind making a video/series on how you make your videos (audio and video capture, editing, etc.)?
Hey! I’m curious, if I have instrument tracks that are 7.1.2 - should I be using the Surround Bounce option?
How do you check the True Peak of the whole project including objects after the Atmos plugin?
Great video thanks. Am I to assume this for lack of a better term equals a Mastered Atmos mix to submit to DSP’s

How reliable the speakers are? Any flaws with the sound or functionality?

How do i export a version to hear on my airpods on my iphone with head-tracking without having to convert to mp4 using "Dolby Atmos Renderer" app?
Yes I’ve been wondering this same thing for so long now!!

How do you keep your Atmos file from going 32 when Apple only allows 24bit for Atmos files……?
Is there any way to export the atmos mix for final atmos mix in pro tools ?
This was very helpful, Thank you!
