I'm one of those who followed you from the start and it amazes me on your perseverance and dedication on this project. Now you built a trainer concept and this will help a lot for those who are interested to build and fly your F35B project. I salute you!
This is absolutely amazing work! congratulations, this is totally amazing. You have sparked the imaginations of many people I am sure.... You have sparked my imagination! Thank you!
Looks fantastic! Please check your framerates for your cameras and the video as there appears to be a difference resulting in quite bad jumps every second.
You are doing an excellent job and you share it to anyone willing to experiment. The controller is a KK2 which is not the most used mainly because the programmation is not easy. But this controller is able to configure any setup. I have programmed a tricopter ( like a Convergence) and it worked but after many try. All to say that I can appreciate the job you have made. Is there any suggestions about another type of controller ?
I have a pair of jp 70mm edf, 6s 2250kv. I have had a hard time getting some speed controllers to run these motors. What speed controllers are you using?
Can you do it in INAV with a F405 speedybee? You will be better off because most of us use or ardupilot or INAV witch have the Vtol configuration. Will be a killer. And with the board with the files just to copy and paste will be ready to go.
Can I ask why the firmware development for these vtol projects is been done for and out of date flight controller. Why not for ardupilot? That would seem like a better path to go down...
Hello Joel! I purchased the STL files and have been 3D printing them. I've seen that there are pictures available to see how the model is built. Is there any written instructions? I can not seem to find any. Thanks!
@@Joelmelanie but here in India aliexpress is not permitted ,and moreover nowadays there are several restrictions of drone flights & designs due to terrorist threats
Where to find the STL files?

So impressive, i'm glad this is a featured video on UA-cam
$49 is expensive? I would pay $490 man. This is awesome!
Great idea to have this to practice with and get used to the installation and set up.
exactly, i tune this model to perfect and use those setting in the F-35b

Awesome. How do you achieve the yaw movement while in hover ? I'm not seeing the tail nozzle moving ?
just tilting the rear nozzle
This is incredible 😊 I live the design!

@@Joelmelanie Oh
I would be interested in a KK2 board
freaking awesome! you should have had the drone chasing it instead of that very far away view point. you could hardly even see it
Hello
Do you have a diagram of how everything is connected to KK2
There will be a new video today
I have a pair of jp 70mm edf, 6s 2250kv. I have had a hard time getting some speed controllers to run these motors. What speed controllers are you using?
APD but they are not on the market anymore , or the originals from JP Hobby, both 120A 6 to 12S ESC
@@Joelmelanie are you running yours at 6s? Or running 7-8 to cover the voltage sag?
@@96vmax4 just on 6S, maybe i could try 6S high voltage or 7S.... ow wauw more speed, going to order they can handle 7S

I can try, but need to dive into inav..heard good things about that
It s really CRASY
Dear how can I get the KK2 wiring manual?
fantastic,
Can I ask why the firmware development for these vtol projects is been done for and out of date flight controller. Why not for ardupilot? That would seem like a better path to go down...
i think you are right, but it works great.. i have still 200 of them haha
in your opinion is the EDF approach more or less energy efficient than typical fixed propeller VTOL you see in commercial UAVs?
Could You Do The Rc VVA-14?
how much load this can carry weight. this have good pizza delivery plane to all fast food shop, nice
well, we have 6,5 static thrust on a 3,5 kilo model so lets say 2 kilo?

its awesome! but not cheap at all, all the set up its over 300usd, almost same price as my 3d printer u,u
But you can reprint as many if you want right and experience vtol
The video freezes every second. Geesh.
It's fine for me, perfectly smooth
Maybe you have a problem, I don't.
Excellent ya but this is not cheap ya it's little expensive
true somewhere, my total setup is 520 eur, but you can build it for less than 300 euro with aliexpress parts
