Mount that amp on the back of the rear seat. NEVER on the box! What I do if the backing is completely soft is either untuck and/or slice a slit along the bottom. Sliding a board between the carpet and the rest of the seat so you can mount it on the outside. I can also pull down my rear passenger seat and adjust both amps from driver seat. As that is a larger amp. You would have to either make a wall or in your case. Use the larger pull down section of the longer sectioned back seat. Just about every ride I've owned and had a system in has been a hatchback. Currently a 04' Passat GL Wagon. Orion XTR750.4 running two sets of 2way component sets and a CT-1000.1D doen to 1 ohm to two Black Diamond DIA-R12D4s. 2nd battey with battery isolator Yellowtop Optima DH6. Love em.
Bro, you are so wrong. Theres nothing wrong with mounting an amp on a box. If you have a shitty built box that flexes then yeah. Having a well built box is everything and won’t hurt your amp at all. No matter were you mount the amp, it’s gonna see vibration.
@@nathanlitko1004true, when you got so much power , like in this hatchbacks everything is gonna vibrate. I know because I use to have a 05 ford focus with just one 12 sa v1 on a 1000 watt audio pipe and it was pretty loud for a single 12 and every thing was vibrating especially everything near the back
@nathanlitko1004 To each is own. When I got into systems the summer prior to getting my license in 2000. Ignoring all faults due to human error. The ones that I've encountered internal issues with have had their amps personally mounted to their box. Of course, sure, there are some intense systems that vibrate so hard it wouldn't matter. You can not deny that being a part of an object that is being utilized to reverberate sound waves is the best place to mount an electronic component. If there was something between to absorb it, eh sure. However, even I am smart enough not to argue with science and physics.
@@BigSteve_Gaming187 again, a lot of people mount to the box or even their walls. Have a good quality amp and a well built box and you are fine. I’d love to see your system and installs😉
Facts , I was thinking the same thing. Had a single 12 sa on a 1k amp and I was surprised how loud it got for a single 12. I think hatchbacks are perfect for any set up. Man I miss my ford focus
This is why I'll never buy any subs other than Sundown. I put 2 of my old SA-10s & a REALLY OLD ORIGINAL SAZ 1500d (NOT the 15 year anniversary edition) giving them each about 850 RMS in my work truck ('05 Avalanche). I used a sealed box for better quality tuned roughly @34hz. It straight MURDERS the lows (28hz-40hz) @147.4!! AS ALWAYS: Sundown Audio FOR THE WIN!!! A 12+ y/o amp & 8 y/o subs, and it will run full tilt all day long & not even get really hot!! *except during these GA summers. It's a black truck, so if it sits baking in the 90⁰+ sun a few hours & I try to run it, it will go into protection. But it's usually my Pioneer head that the heat kills first. I've got a MUCH BIGGER system in my personal truck '18 Tahoe. It's all Sundown as well. 4 X-12s on 4 Scar 3,500s @1ohm doing 158.0 on music.
I didn’t attend a show the last 8 months to catch up to having no videos by April 2025. Starting the year right without 10 months backlog of videos going forward.
I love seeing solid daily builds. Also not many videos out there of people running the Sav2s.
Broooooo 4:09 I STARTED NODDING LIKE A MFER 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and Im sick that was the most energy I gave in a couple days 🤣

@nathanlitko1004 sure you can build a house that can handle earthquakes. Do you really want to build it on a fault line. Or rite next to it?
