when did you capture this footage, January 2021? or was during summer month?

I believe it was June 1 2021 but don’t recall offhand, I do give the date in the video.

When I was there there was only one route. At the first view of the volcano you could stop there or keep going to the right. But I believe that some days that route is closed. Fortunately there are rangers there who can assist.

Do you think an overweight person can resist the hike ?

I think so, as my mom is well in her 70s and was able to do it. The trail is fairly flat and not too steep. However it's now been over a year and the path/route likely has changed since I was there.
